epic Games and Steam are at the
forefront of the PC gaming community and
to many people they don’t trust the game
unless it’s listed on those platforms
but what if the game was never important
what if just having a landing page on
Steam and Epic Game is enough for a scam
to take place in today’s video we’re
going to go through a condensed timeline
of the Paradise game situation and how
Epic and Steam need to take some
responsibility to make sure that this
stuff doesn’t happen again and as of
recording this video it’s still ongoing
and in this video as well Paradise have
actually answered a lot of the questions
so we’ll go through that now all the
background footage you’ll see in this is
actually the full Paradise game map and
we will touch on this later in the video
to explain exactly what we’re looking at
but also hopefully this video can help
institute some change in the industry
it’s a big ask but hopefully you guys
will listen so a lot has happened since
Paradise announced the release of their
game and we’ve actually managed to
explore the entire city but very quickly
let’s just go through a very basic
timeline of the series of events this is
going to be 1% of everything that’s
happened but it should give you a rough
outlay of what to pay attention to in
October Paradise dropped their trailer
announcing that their new game is out
now and everyone can download it by
filling out the form on their website
the basis of the game is that it would
be a GTA 6 rival where you can earn
cryptocurrency by just playing the game
a few days later I out it for being a
scam primarily based on the fact the
game wasn’t out like they claimed it was
and none of the influencers mentioned
were associated with the project
alongside this there was loads of stolen
and copied assets from other games a few
days later they threatened to sue me and
said that talking about them violated
their copyright which of course is
incorrect on the back of some
conversations with them I realized that
they’re actually emailing me from my
Russian domain and of course they claim
to be based in Hong Kong now in November
they announced the early access and that
thousands of people have played their
game and the game was pretty much
finished and they’ll be aiming for early
access in December now December comes
around and they get themselves into some
hot water they somehow forgot which I
don’t understand how but they somehow
forgot that Steam has a zero tolerance
policy on crypto so they removed all
traces of crypto from their website and
they of course issue a statement saying
that the game will not have crypto
integrations anymore they did this so
that when Steam reviewed their listing
and website and social media there’ll be
no trace of crypto then of course the
Steam page went back up and everything
looked okay 11 hours later they then
rebranded their entire social media from
Paradise Game to Paradise XRPL bringing
back the crypto integration yes you
heard that correctly in an 11-hour
window they went from having no crypto
integration to making themselves a fully
dedicated crypto game and it was also
around this sort of time that they
started twisting the words a little bit
saying that the PlayStation version
won’t have crypto the Steam version
won’t have crypto but the Epic Games
version will in fact they went back and
revisited and changed their statements
on the topic multiple times and at this
point they must have totally forgot that
the early access was supposed to be live
in December they never mentioned it
again now let’s talk about January of
this year now we need to take a little
bit of a sideline from the story to talk
about the assets that are in their
trailer and all their marketing material
and their gameplay trailers so all the
assets and maps that we saw are either
from Kit Bash 3D or Fab or Unreal’s own
marketplace now remember these assets
some of which are so new that they’ve
only been added in January well remember
these now back to the timeline february
and March of this year roll around and
they announced that the game will be out
on April the 2nd and that the game is
finished during their many live streams
about the game they talk about how the
game is literally ready to be published
they’re just doing some final little
cleanup on the back end then during this
period I called them out publicly
because they’re claiming that a company
that’s only around 6 months old has
managed to build test market and
distribute an entire game just in a
6-month period and they’re claiming it
will rival Grand Theft Auto 6 and of
course none of what we saw in the
trailer actually made it into their
gameplay videos and on top of that of
course there were thousands of other
lies a good example of this is their
game being able to run on 10-year-old
base level hardware and then claiming
that a shooting game with cryptocurrency
had a 12 age rating and the list goes on
i have a whole video series about it 3
days after the video came out with many
people tagging Paradise and posts about
the video they then issued a statement
that the game would be coming out as a
demo and they actually plan to work on
the game over time to make it a complete
game very different statements to what
they were making just a week before now
let’s fast forward to April the 1st
April Fool’s Day yes it’s not lost on me
one day before the launch they announced
that the game was now out on Gam a
platform that they’ve never mentioned
before now this game was a demo with a
couple of maps and you couldn’t really
do anything you could talk to NPCs and
you can drive inside an empty garage
garage if you’re American but you
couldn’t go anywhere you couldn’t leave
any of these four locations you couldn’t
get into any of the shootouts they
claimed or do any missions or build your
empires and your business and all of the
stuff that we saw in the trailer and all
of their marketing material up until
this point and more to the point all of
the maps we saw were the maps from Fab
some of these maps only coming out in
the weeks prior to this demo releasing
so they couldn’t have been working on
these maps for 6 months this was further
compounded by a statement that they made
just a couple of months ago where they
claimed that they made 95% of the assets
in the game we’ve managed to find every
single asset in the demo so of course
people were very angry so Paradise’s
community managers issued a statement
that on the following day April the 2nd
at 2:00 p.m est they’ll be releasing the
game with all of the missions and it’ll
be the proper build on Steam and Epic
Games now on April the 2nd the following
day 2 p.m came and went there was
nothing a few hours later they stated
that it would then be 7:00 p.m 7:00 p.m
came nothing happened then 3 hours
following this they said that they’re in
the final review stages of Steam and
Epic and it would take a couple of days
then on EG data the release date for the
game changed to a date in June and
Paradise blindly pretended that nothing
had happened and of course announced
that the demo game that we saw in Gem is
actually the official launch yes the dog
[ __ ] demo was the game which confirms
that everything they’ve said since their
first trailer and probably prior to that
was complete and utter [ __ ] this
brings us to 2 days ago over the past
couple of days people have been playing
with the Gem Launcher the launcher that
you need to actually launch this demo
and people have noted that the privacy
policy and terms of service don’t exist
on these web pages the buttons don’t go
anywhere the game launch is actually
causing some people’s computers to crash
and I’ve had people messaging me saying
that they’ve actually had to take their
computers in to get repaired supposedly
the background tasks are maxing out
people’s computers which of course has
led people to believe that the launcher
is actually doing something in the
background for example mining or key
logging or something nefarious now I
ignored most of this because this at
this point is speculation and I’m saying
this as a matter of opinion not
necessarily fact but people were
pointing out that Paradise was talking
about GGM as if it was their project and
looking at their posts it’s quite easy
to read into that then we notice that
GGM is based in Hong Kong but their
whole entire team is Russian which is
exactly the same story for Paradise it’s
not too far-fetched to believe that
they’re associated compounded with the
fact that their websites are literally
built in the same format the same drop
down arrows i don’t know speculation but
it was very strange to say the least
then just a few hours after this it was
then noted that one of their community
managers was saying that they worked
with Fantastic before now Fantastic are
the people behind The Day Before which
was of course a massive huge gaming scam
and it’s rather strange that Paradise
would be choosing people to moderate
their community from a project that was
a known scam previously now over the
past 24 hours Bakery the moderator
reached out to me saying that they’d
received death threats etc and it’s all
my fault now whilst I do not condone
anyone doing that at all of course it’s
horrible and we shouldn’t be doing that
it was bakery that banned people for
asking for their money back from their
crypto when they couldn’t cash out it
was bakery banning people for outing
Paradise as being a scam when it so
obviously was and of course I do believe
that this person would have to know that
if they’ve worked in an industry that
was literally full of scammers before
and they’re going to work from another
project that’s now been confirmed to be
not legitimate lightning rarely strikes
twice in the same place i myself have
received threats and you can go back to
any of my previous videos about Paradise
and slowly but surely people are
deleting their comments but you can go
back and see the amount of threats that
I’ve had including threats from Paradise
themselves where they’re threatening to
sue me so in my eyes you can’t really
play the victim that people are coming
after you when you’re the one that
pushed and provided solidarity for a
community of people that at the same
time the people you were working with or
for whatever it might be are ripping
them off people were joining the
Paradise Discord and presenting new
information that would stop people from
getting scammed and for doing this they
were banned their messages were deleted
and a lot of the people that may be in
the Paradise Discord that didn’t know
this was a scam were being misled ripped
off at the very minimum just let down
now there are private messages that I’ve
had with Bakery but I cannot share them
publicly because Bakery has literally
said not to share any of those messages
but I can share this screenshot as this
was public in the Discord server and
it’s in the public domain because of
them i’m not leaking anything here now
Paradise have asked people to ask any
questions that they may have and that
they’ll address them publicly but the
thing is is all the people that really
have questions to ask are blocked dark
Space is blocked amongst many others so
they can’t ask these questions but every
time they do one of these Q&A sessions
they ignore the top voted comments they
instead make up their own questions that
no one asked they are just relying on a
few gullible people to now keep the scam
alive right change of plans whilst
recording this video Paradise have put
up a post responding to the questions
that people have asked before we begin
the dialogue we want to share our
original goals with you our plans were
to create a real game with AI not a
prototype not CGI but a real game and we
did it well firstly all of the trailers
were CGI and the game wasn’t a real game
it was a demo and it was just four asset
packs to show a working build before TGE
to prove that there is a real product
behind this token and we did it no you
didn’t the build was so broken that
people had to delete it off their
computers three to attract market
attention without spending millions on
advertising through content and viral
marketing and we did it thanks to our
haters no you got delisted from multiple
storefronts multiple times you got
bashed all over the internet and no one
will ever trust anything you ever make
again for to scale and improve the game
after release that’s fair enough well
done finally a point that we can accept
in fact all this bad news only benefits
us the whole world is talking about us
and we’ve attracted nearly a million
people now thanks to our haters thank
you all why is the a million people a
million people saw your trailer and
nearly every single one of them went
“This is a scam.” When will the full
version of the game be released we
follow a different development model
we’re launching the game in early access
and will continuously update it a
similar approach is used by games like
Fortnite some of whose models are still
in early access today well Fortnite’s
early access is for the beta updates
their original game modes are not in
early access why didn’t you say in
advance you releasing a demo version
from the beginning we clearly positioned
the game launch as an early access even
before the IDO this was mentioned on our
website social media and email
invitations with access codes this is a
lie the term demo was first used during
a call they had on one of their live
streams that was the first time they
introduced it and I covered that call in
full detail on the channel when people
were really confused when they started
mentioning it was a demo then as a games
development company they say something
that a games development company should
never say if you’re just a gamer then
what are you complaining about the game
is free you didn’t pay for anything
we’re developing this game with our own
money you have no right to demand
anything from us yes we do when you lie
about the thing you’re developing and
also you’re encouraging people to put
money into your crypto platform and also
use your own dedicated app an app in
which people have said they’ve had
trouble cashing out of where did the
money go why do you compare yourselves
to Rockstar Games we have never compared
ourselves to Rockstar Games that’s your
imagination any comparisons are
happening only in your head we don’t
have a billion dollar budget or
thousands of employees and this is a lie
the homepage of their website on release
compared themselves to Grand Theft Auto
Meet Sims they also compared themselves
to Grand Theft Auto 6 in their emails to
every single creator that they emailed
why isn’t the game live on Epic Games
and Steam it’s just a matter of time we
submitted the game for review long ago
and are currently waiting for approval
if downloading the game from Steam or
Epic Games is only a matter of principle
for you you’ll need to wait the game is
already available for download via GJ
this was part of their plan for the
whole entire time released the game
through Gem the whole idea was pushing
people towards that platform steam and
Epic need to act on this and we’ll talk
about that a bit later in the video will
the game be released on Epic Games and
Steam yes once we pass the final reviews
will the game continue to be developed
yes why did you say the game would
launch on April the 2nd but didn’t
release the release took place on April
1st to the 2nd via the GGM platform the
Steam and Epic games release has been
postponed due to pending review is they
could have put their game up for review
weeks in advance steam and Epic are both
very upfront about how long the review
process takes next question is why is
the download speed so slow the GGM
servers bl they’re saying that too many
people were downloading the game which
is complete bollocks the thing is is the
top voted questions on there myself and
a few of the YouTubers none of our
questions were answered and this is
exactly what I just said would happen
now in the Discord a few of their team
mentioned that the map is only
temporarily closed off for the demo but
it will be opened up for the full game
which is kind of at heads against what
Paradise have said cuz Paradise’s
official statement is that the full game
is currently out and the demo we
received is the full game well we’re
very lucky that we now have footage from
Denal who broke out of the boundaries to
look around and the city’s just a
setpiece collisions are off and you can
literally do nothing the roads are fake
the setpiece is all fake these objects
which weren’t optimized is why the game
was 40 GB so where are we today and
where does this leave us well Epic Games
have now got a little paragraph at the
bottom of the Paradise page saying that
they’re not partnered with Paradise or
associated with them in any way other
than listing the game essentially but in
my opinion this isn’t enough everyone
needs to go make some noise because
Steam and Epic need to be held
accountable both Steam and Epic Games
are being used to bolster the validity
of this company which in turn is helping
push and sell a cryptocoin which of
course has just crashed i firmly believe
that there’s zero chance that the people
at Epic and Steam are not aware of this
my videos on the topic have had over 40
million impressions and nearly 400,000
direct views and Jetro have had nearly 3
million views and god knows how many
impressions i’ve seen smaller and
similar projects to this taken down for
a lot less and a lot faster so what can
we do well I know categorically hundreds
of people have reported this game to
Steam and Epic and clearly as we can see
nothing has been done we now know that
every single statement Paradise made
about this game was a lie because
everything they said would happen on the
2nd of April hasn’t happened and it’s
not just about the game getting delayed
is all the features the influencers the
influencers managers have had to come
out and declare “No we’re not working
with this company.” So many lies have
been told about this game which overall
just makes the company liars and not a
trustworthy business that we should be
playing their game it’s got to the point
now where we can pretty much guarantee
that both Steam and Epic Games aren’t
going to listen to anyone because if so
many people have issued reports and
nothing’s been done nothing’s going to
be done steam don’t have like a chat
function where we can talk to them there
and every single message I’ve had from
like Steam and Epic is just about how
there’s a report feature that people can
use well people are using it and
nothing’s been done now I’m not saying
that Steam and Epic Games are 100%
responsible for this but they are
definitely sharing some of the
responsibility for how long this has
gone on because they could have very
easily verified any of this information
months ago and in the process people
wouldn’t put money into a shitcoin i
think we should now give Steam and Epic
the opportunity a week to actually go
and review this to actually go through
all the information and take proper
action and publish their findings if
they don’t I myself will be contacting
the Better Business Bureau because the
Better Business Bureau oversee basically
all trade regulations inside the United
States in fact some of their core
focuses are international affairs as
well steam and Epic Games have an
obligation to the people that use their
platforms to make sure that at the very
minimum the games on there go through a
formal review process and that formal
review process should be done before a
game actually starts getting hundreds of
thousands of wish lists especially when
the game was not actually important to
Paradise what was important to Paradise
was making the game look good look
official which would then in turn sell
their coin and Epic Games and Steam have
enabled that i mean Paradise have been
claiming that they have an official
partnership with Epic Games for the
longest time it was actually in their
original trailer but the trailer that
was on Epic Games that logo and that
partnership was actually removed because
they were worried that if Epic Games saw
it they would realize that there is no
official collaboration or partnership on
the project and even the description of
the initial trailer Paradise have stated
that they have no partnership with Epic
Games so this was a lie not only is this
legally defined as fraud this surely has
to be enough for Epic Games to terminate
listing Paradise as a game paradise have
gone out of their way to circumvent the
rules and regulations on Epic Games
platform so from the date and time of
this video going live I want to give
Steam and Epic Games the opportunity to
actually review this game and come to
their own conclusion they can review
their findings and issue a statement
about whether the game’s going to stay
up or the game’s going to get taken down
but it’s absolutely no lie at all that
Steam and Epic are benefiting off this
game people are going to their platforms
so they are now developing more
customers because of this game i’m
hoping that Steam and Epic can do a 180
on this and actually turn this into a
positive for the community where they
start taking further action to make sure
this doesn’t happen again for the time
being all we can do as a community is
keep reporting the game to Steam and
hope for the best thank you so much for
