Yo everyone, how are you all doing? Can
you all hear me? Okay, can you see me?
Okay, same checks as usual, guys, cuz
I've had it before where I've started
rambling and people couldn't see me or
hear me.
So, let me see what chat's saying. Hello
everyone. How are you all doing? Yes.
Yo, man, what a day it's been today.
What a day it's been today. We've got
quite a bit to talk about in regards to
Minds Eye. So, we will go through all of
the little bits of
um stuff. We'll just call it stuff.
We'll call it stuff. I've uh put a
message in the Mind's Eye Discord just
to say I'm about to be streaming. Um I
know a lot of people had questions. So,
just to give you all a little bit of
context about 3 weeks ago, actually, no,
two weeks ago, um Minds Eye, the team
behind Minds Eyee, um invited a load of
creators to go and preview an event, um
which is just like a it was like a
team's call, like a Zoom call where we
could watch through a load of gameplay,
some cinematics, and some other little
features in the game. and they kind of
very quickly took us through a lot of
the details.
Um, and there's a lot to go through
because it it left a bad taste in a few
creators mouth, but I don't I don't want
to put words in other people's mouths. I
want to talk about my experience u with
the Minds Eye team and uh see if anyone
Yeah, a few people are saying they're
going to join and say hello. So, I think
without further ado,
um, mine's I got taken down from
PlayStation store. Hang on a second
here. That is a curveball. Are you
sure? Are you
sure? Sorry, I need to check this
quickly, guys, cuz that throws a massive
curveball into
um a load of things I was about to say.
Let's just
check. Was it ever on the PlayStation
store? No, it's still there. It's still
available. Gift of money for a monster.
Thank you so much, dude. Thank you for
the super chat. Is that what I think a
mouse? This thing here? Yeah, this is my
trackpad. I use this for video editing
cuz it allows you to like scroll through
the timeline. Don't know about this
thing. That's also a mouse. That's what
I use for like well pretty much
everything
else. I know it's not ergonomic, but
looks retro and it's cool. Okay, don't
bully me in chat.
Right. You can't find out on your end.
It might be country maybe. Not sure.
Let's talk about Mind's Eye. So, I'll
take you from start to finish. I'm
probably won't be as active in chat, but
thank you for the super chats plans.
Thank you, dude. So happy actually
didn't pre-order this game, but I'm a
bit sad since I was genuinely hyped.
Probably going to wait for a sale, mate.
My thoughts exactly. Let's go into what
happened with the Minds Eye event. So,
um, I first contacted the team at Minds
Eye probably 6 weeks ago to say, "Hey,
I'd love to interview your team. I'd
love to interview their developers
because obviously it's no secret that
the marketing for Mind's Eye has been
really quiet and like there isn't much
information other than like the small
snippet trailers that they've been
posting. Obviously, there's the main
trailers, but let's be honest, main
trailers can be a little bit deceiving."
So um I reached out to them and they
said there weren't any opportunities to
interview any of their team which
firstly understand secondly I am a very
small channel um so I understand that.
So, um, I was actually really pleased
when they they used the third party
company to reach out to different
YouTubers, a lot of YouTubers of which
are my friends on YouTube, and one of
the people they reached out to was me,
to ask if we'd like to join a preview
event where we can actually watch
through game play. Um, and they'll talk
us through everything. And the way I
understood it will be the same as it is
for most of the game events I've done
where normally you have like an hour or
45 minutes of them showing you gameplay
explaining what stuff is and then at the
end usually there's like 15 well as
little as 10 but as much as half an hour
of Q&As's where you can ask questions,
you can write notes so when you go and
make your video you can talk about it.
Now during all of this like process we
were told that there's an embargo. So um
whilst we didn't sign a physical
contract, there's usually if you agree
to something over email, it acts about
well if if you agree to something over
email, it acts kind of like a contract
in the sense that it's a written
agreement. So they had their embargo
which basically mean that we weren't
able to talk about this until the 22nd
of May today. Um so today we could talk
about it. And to be
honest, there's a lot of reasons why
there's a ne there's negative reviews
about obviously not the game itself.
None of us have played the game, but
we've seen the preview footage and h
it's really difficult to know where to
start of all of this. So, I'm just going
to go through and it might be a bit
sporadic and eventually I'll probably
cut this into a video, but let's just
start off with the actual call itself.
So, it was a team's call that we um
jumped on to. So we they sent us an
invite link. Unfortunately, so they ran
them every evening for like a week and I
couldn't make it to one of the events
because um I had a speed awareness
course cuz I was caught speeding 35 mph
and a 30. I know. Um send me to prison.
Um so they had this like um thing. So
they very gratefully they managed to put
me onto the the event for the next day.
Now there aren't loads of people in in
these Zoom calls um these teams calls.
There's literally like four YouTubers at
a time. So for me, I'm not going to say
who is in my call, but some other
creators I know quite well.
Um,
and during that call, it was very very
like wham bam, thank you, ma'am. It was
very like they introed like the call
started. They said hi. They introduced
themselves around the call. None of the
creators got to say anything. Like none
of us got to get a word in which is
really weird. Uh, normally they just
say, "Hey, I'm a YouTuber that does
this." or whatever. Usually there's a
especially when there's only like four
people in the call, but no, we didn't
say anything to each other. The the
agency that you know reached out to us
as influencers, they introduced
themselves. Then Minds Eye um gave us a
bit of insight and then two of the
people kind of left the call. They came
off the video call and then the rest of
the time it was Adam Whiting. Adam, I
think his name's Adam Whiting. He's
their production head. He pretty much in
charge of everything production wise
with Mind's Eye. So, um, it was very for
like an hour straight. I can't remember
exactly how long the call was. And we'll
get back to that in a minute cuz that's
important. It was very intro. Here's
some cut scenes. Here's what the game is
about. Here's what we're trying to
achieve. Here's what we're doing. Here's
what's going to be in the game. Um, the
hidden one's just put in the chat. So,
I'm assuming he's very okay with me
saying he's one of the people that was
on the calls. It felt very pre-recorded,
and that's exactly my thoughts. It felt
like because no one was allowed to talk
like or get a word in or ask a question,
it felt like we were being shown a
pre-recorded presentation. Um,
especially when some key things that
happened supposedly happened for other
people's. Now, I don't know what
gameplay other people saw because I
believe we all saw the same missions.
Um,
but it was very like wham bam thank you
man where they showed you stuff and then
stuff happened and then they said right
now we're going to move on to this. So
this is a cut scene. Next we're going to
jump to this mission. Then it was so if
you think I'm talking fast now, it was
so quick and fast-paced. And this is
where the big problem comes in. Before
we talk about the problems with the
game, which we will get on to, this is
where the big problem comes in where we
were given this opportunity to see
gameplay, but we weren't able to record
it. They didn't record it for us on
their end. So, we had the length of that
call like where we couldn't rewind it.
We couldn't go back through. We couldn't
review any of the footage again. As
things happened, we had to pick them
apart and and try and dissect them and
maybe write some notes to go in one of
our videos and we weren't able to go
back and go actually was that a glitch
or was that a problem? Like we were
shown the footage and then for there's
an hour of stuff and then the live
stream ends and that's the last time we
see that until the game comes out. So
when people are asking us to go through
like specific details of like individual
pixel peeping, we were watching this on
a team's call where the dropout was
insane. I think the hidden one on his
internet dropped out so he had to leave
the call. There was so much stuff
like happening very quickly that we
weren't able to really go through it
all. So that already made it like 10 to
15% pointless. But then the whole idea
was that at the end of it, so this
normally when you do these events, like
at the end of the event, like an hour
after or two hours after, they send you
all of the pre-launch footage, the um
the exclusive footage that you get for
the end of the embargo. So, normally
they should have sent us the footage on
the 6th of May for us to start making a
video between then and today, the 22nd
of May, when our embargo gets lifted.
But what actually happened instead is we
had that hourong interview Zoom call
thing and then we didn't hear anything
for over a week and that's fine. I
understand like they maybe had to get
some footage ready or like teams were
busy but in that week we weren't able to
go back through the footage. We weren't
able to write down more notes or review
anything. We didn't have any new footage
to process or go through. So, by the
time it got to the point of us seeing
the live stream and then actually
receiving footage so we could start
making a video, a week and a bit, I
believe it was actually even longer, a
week and a half had gone by. I think the
hidden one, if you're still in chat,
you'll be able to confirm how long it
was cuz you you even messaged me saying,
"Aren't we supposed to be getting some
footage?" Um, so yeah, that it was like
at the point of us actually receiving
gameplay footage to do our videos, it'd
already been like over a week, a week
and a half, maybe even longer since we
did the actual call. So, we weren't able
to go through the call again and watch
any of the footage or remember what was
said, unless we could write down an hour
long of talking. Um, so that already
made it really difficult for any of us
creators that are making videos today to
really go through with a tooth comb and
actually
express all we can do is talk about our
initial feelings and what we thought
about the game. There was not enough
information there for us to actually do
a deep dive about yeah around 7 to9
days. The hidden one says 7 to n days
before we actually received the footage.
So there wasn't everything you've heard
from creators today saying things
negative about Minds Eye. It's not
because we don't like Minds Eye or we
don't like Build a Rocket Boy. I am
personally a huge fan and I'm a diehard
Leslie Benzy's fan. In fact, half that
stuff on the wall behind me actually
over that side. Half of that stuff is
stuff that Leslie Benes has worked on.
In fact, nearly all of it is.
But I can only be critical and I can
only voice my opinion on what I can
remember seeing for an hourong period in
which we couldn't review it again. So it
made things
um difficult.
Um and that's the thing that all of that
that whole process which was a bit
convoluted isn't including talking about
the footage that we actually saw. So
let's go into that a little bit. But
before we actually talk about the game
play, does anyone have any questions in
chat? Um like there's a lot of things to
to go through and understand a lot of
people might have um
like different ideas, theories or
questions that they want to know. So
let's just do that for the 10 minutes
first so I can have a bit of a
breather. Uh popping off at a game
that's not out is not good. I agree with
you fully, mate. But at the end of the
day, if what we saw in that footage,
bearing in mind that was in total 30
days before the game's due to come out
that and we were told in the call that
that game play that was the latest patch
of the game from the day
before and it was that problematic and
that buggy and it had so many little
weird glitches. That's not popping off
at a game like from early development
footage. That's us talking about what we
saw for a game that's supposed to be
ready. Um,
yeah. Did they say anything about
Arcadia? Yes, they did. So, Arcadia is
their kind of like world building thing.
It's um like it's kind of like where you
can build your own missions and build
your own sets. And that was the coolest
part. I think for me, Arcadia is awesome
because you can actually like in the
world you can build your own missions,
but they spent probably five maybe four,
three minutes on it. Um, and when they
sent us all this footage, we didn't have
any footage of Arcadia. Um, which is
annoying cuz if I could do a whole video
just about the Arcadia side of the game,
that would be 100% positive video, that
would be just like
fire, right? Let me just read up
chat. Sorry for being less responsive to
chat in this one as well. Obviously,
I've got a list of things that I just
want to go through.
Uh, the concept of the game is okay, but
I personally think it's going to be a
flop. thing is I would want I want this
game to be a success cuz I want another
game to play selfishly. I just want
another game that I can sink my teeth
into and make content about. But I do
have that you're right about the second
part. I I don't think the game will
flop. I
think it won't do as well as I'd like it
to or maybe they'd like it
to. Do I know anything about the story?
Pretty much the same stuff that you guys
know that's from the website. We only
saw like snippets of missions. like we
didn't see like a linear flow from start
to finish through segments of the
story.
Um, can I give some examples for blogs
bug/g glitches? Yeah, so there's one
particular scene where there's like a
big drone like a like a quadcopter thing
um where the main character is supposed
to get in it, but the quadcopter didn't
spawn. So you like it's there in the cut
scene. It goes from that shot into a cut
scene. So, in the cut scene, it's there,
but in the actual shot where you're
walking up to it, you're walking up to
just like an empty landing pad with
nothing on it. That was the one that was
like that was the one shot I was like,
"This game's coming out in 30 days, and
this is their latest build."
Um, I don't know. He He made the guy
presenting made some comments about it
as well, saying that it's going to be
fixed, but there was a lot of things
that were, "Don't worry about that.
We're going to fix that." which is fine,
but like if this was like January of
this year, I'd be like, "Yeah, sounds."
I would literally wouldn't even be worth
talking about. But because we're 30 days
before launch, it makes you think stuff
that's that obvious if they haven't
addressed that. What about the stuff
that they've missed? Do you know what I
mean?
Um, where's the Tiana video? That will
be coming this week. Don't worry.
Probably maybe tomorrow or day
after.
Uh, sorry guys. I'm still catching up
with chat. Um, are we getting regular
streams now? Yes, I'll be streaming
three to five times a
[Music]
week. Uh, what switches does my keyboard
have? I actually don't know. I've got
all the information cuz the reviews
coming on this soon. I will definitely
find out.
Uh, cyberpunk minds eye.
Next location breakdown that will be
this
weekend. Why don't That's why Rockstar
don't do calls like that. 100%. So, this
is the other thing as well. It's like it
I've had um so since my video came out
earlier today going through my overall
thoughts and minds, I've had a little
bit of resistance and
backlash and I don't really I'll be
honest, I don't really understand it
because people will say things like,
"Well, you've seen the same trailers
we've seen, so how can you criticize a
game that isn't out yet?" and they're
not understanding that even though I
explained it for at least half the
video, this was a call that creators
were invited to for the opportunity to
discuss and go through ideas and
concepts of the game and go through
footage of the the video like to go
through the footage of the game and all
the video footage and they were playing
it supposedly playing it live on the
call. Um, so you know and they they
contacted us cuz they wanted us to make
videos. is they want us to make videos
and assess what we saw. And that's
exactly what I've done. And I need to
make it categorically clear that I'm not
trying to bash Build a Rocket Boy or
Mind's Eye. I really like I mean, you
can ask any of the creators that I've
spoke to about this. Look at any of my
podcasts or any of my previous videos.
My first video about Mind's Eye, there
was like one or two concerns I had, but
everything else was me pretty much
glazing them. Um, and I've had to eat
humble pie today because, you know,
there's a lot of people in the comments
that were right.
Um, and you know, I've got no issues
admitting I'm wrong about that. It's
just I still don't like it. It's
like It's like, right, so it's like
being in a car crash. Someone else hits
you, so it's their fault. Their
insurance covers it. Like, yes, you're
all in the all clear, but it doesn't
make it any better. It's just like,
okay, well, I've still got a wrecked
car. And it's the same thing for this.
It still feel still feels like yes, you
know,
uh I've had to eat humble pie and admit
I was wrong and you know the other
person's right, but at the end of the
day, everyone loses cuz the game doesn't
appear to be as good as I thought it
would be or as polished as I would hope
it would be. Now, like all of this being
said, the game will probably be
absolutely fine. Um but I think it will
just be fine. And for a company that's I
think they've had like I think it's
nearly $200 million worth of
investment. And if you think about like
GTA 5 cost what was it $250 million to
make. You know it's not far off GTA 5
money. Now obviously inflation times
changing they won't be able to make a
GTA 5 size game but if you look at like
just comparison what you can do with
those sorts of budgets doesn't feel the
best. Um, Ryan, thank you for the super
chat, man. Uh, I got to be honest, man.
Minds Eye looks like another Paradise
situation to me. The world looks flat
and dialogue is so cringe to me. Hope
I'm wrong. I wouldn't go that far with
it. I've seen a lot of comparisons to
Paradise. I wouldn't go that far. I
think with Paradise, it was literally
just downloading assets and re-uploading
it and then trying to get people to buy
a crypto coin. With this, from an
aesthetics point of view, it definitely
does look way better. It's not an asset
flip. There are assets in there, of
course, from other games, but it doesn't
feel or look or I don't get the vibe of
an asset flip, but I do get the vibe
that it's
not it's not unique. It feels like
they've pulled a bit of Mafia, pulled a
bit of Cyberpunk, pulled a bit of Grand
Theft Auto, and normally those
combinations work really well. But to
make that work, it has to have a
gimmick, a selling point, a feature that
makes it stand out above the other
games. It has to have a new mechanic.
Like for example, like Fortnite had like
a the battle royale thing and that just
took it to the moon. Um, obviously it
existed before then, but they took that
concept to the moon. Games like this,
every new game that comes out needs like
to be the next big thing. It needs to
have a thing in it that absolutely
revolutionizes the way that we approach
games as players. Um, for example, Grand
Theft Auto for GTA 5, GTA online
absolutely revolutionized openw world
online games to the point where
Fortnite, the success of Fortnite only
happened because they actually stole
some of the original com stole but like
got inspiration from the original
concepts of GTA
online. So yeah, you have to take an
idea and innovate on it. And what I've
seen from Mind's eye, it doesn't look
like they've innovated on on an existing
concept or added a new thing to the
conversation. So yeah, 200 million
pre203 spend is a lot different to 200
million now. No, 100% 100%. But you got
to think that some games out there, some
AAA games out there, the the development
cost of those games
like are 50 million. So, I'm just saying
that this game looks like a it looks
like a $30 million game. And
yeah, I don't know. It's really
difficult to talk. So, this is something
that I, as I'm getting bigger as a
YouTuber, this is something I need to
learn how to do. Like, I I want to be
perfectly honest about my thoughts and
opinions on this, but I I don't want to
It's going to come across either way
like I'm bashing Build a Rocket Boy in
mind. I'm not. I'm just obviously they
reached out for me to share my thoughts
and that's what I'm doing. Um I I'm not
going to lie about it. I'm not going to
glaze games developers. I'm going to
speak my mind because at the end of the
day all I want is um yeah a good game.
Uh what's the graphic likes in the
court? What was the graphics like in the
core? Well, this is the problem. So me
and um the hidden one actually spoke
about
this. We have no idea what to tell you
about the graphics because we did it
through a team's call. So, we were
experiencing like bit rate compression.
Like the the compression on the call
like Teams is notoriously awful for
compression. I don't know why we didn't
do it on Zoom or Discord. Um it was
bizarre or even on YouTube for that
matter like on a private link. Um the
compression was so bad that like I think
the game probably looks fine, but I
would have liked to see some like full
res gameplay like through a link rather
than do a live stream. Uh, I rather
would have had like they send us the
link to a video where they play it and
it all plays on all of our devices,
which you there's a few sites that do
that. I would have rather them done that
so we can all see it in like full 4K
resolution on our screens, whatever
resolution it goes
to. Um, did they send us the footage of
what they showed uh at all? No. So, we
haven't everything we saw in the live
stream, we haven't seen since, which is
really tricky cuz like when going back
through and hearing some of the things
that they said about the game, how are
we supposed to remember that? Especially
when the our like we were cuz the whole
um release not release cycle, but the
whole marketing cycle got pushed back
like two weeks. We had the call weeks
ago. We had the I had our call was on
the 6th of May and then our embargo
lifted today and we only got sent the
footage seven 8 n days ago. So, it's
like there was a whole like 7 8 day
period, 9 day period where we had to
just do nothing cuz we had nothing to
talk about or we had to remember what
happened on a call. It was just so
weird. It was
weird.
Um, Mad Game Inc., what's up, Cyber Boy?
Good stuff on the coverage. We need
honest thoughts on games. Did you see
Malay? Um, yeah. Uh, also yeah, we did
see I did see like one or two little
handh hand bits, but it was in a dark
part of the game and with the bit rate,
it was really hard to tell what was
going on cuz the stream kept dropping
out. Um, did you uh also from the cut
scenes and action, is it fun game? It
doesn't need to be game of the year,
just a fun time. It looks like it will
be a good time to play, but that's
providing that they do fix all the bugs
because some of them completely break
immersion. like like I know it's a one
example once again I'm trying to
remember back to a live stream that was
3 weeks ago but um one of them was that
drone just disappearing like you walk up
to it and you have to get in the drone
and the drone's not there. I'm like okay
well I'm just walking to a landing pad
and then it cuts to a cut scene when
you're in a drone and it's
like what's happening? I think they'll
fix stuff like that, of course. But
um is that a monitor in front of my
keyboard? Yeah, there's a moni like
this. This is a keyboard and monitor.
There will be a video coming about that.
Don't worry. Don't worry. Uh Clean
Sanchez, how are you doing, brother? If
anyone want everyone wants to If anyone
ever wants to see an interview with me,
there's one on Clean Sanchez's channel.
Uh we did an interview a few weeks back.
You know what? That was really fun. We
need to do another one, man. That was so
good. I enjoyed that. Uh, do you expect
a delay after all these creators coming
out about it? Matty Plays says similar
things. Yeah. Who is Matt? This might be
a very very silly question, but who is
Matty Plays? I've seen so many people
reference his video. Um, I hope they
delay it. I want a game now more than
anything. Of course. Like I I make money
from YouTube. I I make money for making
videos about games. Like if the game
comes out, great. More money for me.
Like don't get don't get it twisted. I
want the game to come out, but I want a
good game. I don't want a game that is
okay. I don't want a game that's
like I don't want a game that has like
little asterisk next to it. Like this
game is great, but like I just if they
have to delay it, delay it. I think it
got to the point where they were more
interested in getting the game out
before um GTA 6 and that's probably
shafted. Oh, Matty play. Oh, Mr. Matty
plays. Yeah, I've seen this guy before.
Subscribed. I'll watch his video
earlier. I think it was um I can't
remember who sent me. Was it Ben that
sent me a video of it? I think it was
video tech. Yeah, I need to watch
through that. Let's go back to the live
stream. See what you saying. Let me see
what you were saying. Spans, thank you
for the super chat, man. Um people in
your Twitch is beefing. Oh, I don't have
Twitch chat on. Let me let me see
this. Oh, what's happening on Twitch?
I I don't have it on my screen cuz no
one watches me. Four people are watching
on Twitch, boys. We have made it. We are
getting out the hood with this one,
boys. We have four people watching on
Twitch. I'm still not verified on
Twitch, by the way. Like, they don't
believe it's
me. I can't even log into my Twitch. I
can only access it through my stream
feed. So, um yeah. Sorry, guys.
[Music]
Uh, let me see what let me see what the
Twitch chat is saying. Uh,
ooh, people are beat. Oh, yeah. I'm
seeing it
now. Ooh, what happened on
Twitch? Who hurt
who? Everyone on Twitch needs a cuddle,
man. Jesus.
Hello cyborg UK. Hello dude. How are you
doing? I need the two factor
authentification. Yeah, to be honest,
I've got the password somewhere. I have
it on a separate device cuz I'm
smart. Right, let me just go back to the
questions again. Sorry guys, we got a
bit distracted then. Let me go back
through chat. Uh,
do do you anything about the teams
besides Leslie Benzy's involvement
rocker boy? Do you mean do I know
anything about the teams? I know that
they employ a few former Rockstar
developers. Uh there is some stuff that
I read earlier, but I don't know if it's
true yet, so I need I need to verify it
before I talk about it. But um
yeah,
um I pre-ordered this like an hour ago.
What's wrong with it? Nothing's wrong
with it. I think you'll be fine. I just
uh if you want to know what my concerns
are, just go back to the start of the
stream or check my video that I posted
earlier today. Like just just to be like
clear again and I need to keep saying
this. I don't think it's going to be a
bad game and I don't think it's going to
suck and I don't think it's going to
fail as a game. I think as like the
storytelling and I got to say the cut
scenes look absolutely insane. Um they
they look brilliant but I think that the
storytelling as long as they get that
right that can save a game. I know games
that have really bad mechanics and get
bad gameplay and the story is so good
that it doesn't matter. Um that stuff is
fine. Like a good example is actually
Mafia 3. Like it's not bad gameplay, but
it's not the best gameplay. But the
story is like
somewhat it redeems the game in a way.
That's the endearing part of the game.
The culture, the time, the story, the
set piece that redeems the game a little
bit. This could be one of those games.
But once again, Mafia 3 is one of those
games that had a question mark next to
it. And do you want a question mark next
to a game that you that you're making? I
don't know.
ironic that it's the same actor. Yeah,
it is a little bit. I think he's a
brilliant actor as
well. Am I still using dialup? No, I'm
using fiber. Why is has my stream
dropped quality? Let me know if stream's
lagging. Matthew 3 is mediocre to be
fair. Matthew 3, go back and play it
again. Like, but don't try and play it
in one sitting. Play an hour at a time.
Different experience. Entirely different
experience. I can't explain why. It just
is. You cooked creation dev. Yeah, I
think he's quit YouTube. Hang on one
sec. Just sort my mask out. Yeah, I
think creation dev quit YouTube. He
hasn't posted in three
weeks. Stream looks great on YouTube.
Yeah, I'm not sure. I've seen a few
people say that stream's dropping out.
I'm not sure what that
is. Howdy everyone. How you doing,
dude? Um, guys, do not listen. Never
pre-order a game. Doesn't matter which
it is. Never do it. To be
fair, I So, I haven't even pre-ordered
mine. I I know they're going to give me
a copy. They're probably not anymore,
let's be honest.
Um, they're not going to give me a copy
now, but um, I didn't pre-order it
because it's not a physical edition.
They're only doing digital. And for me,
I'd only ever pre-order something if I
if I can hold it. You know what I mean?
Like a game that you can hold. I I
digital games are convenient. Let's not
beat around the bush. But it's nice to
own new games, like hold them.
pre-order GTA 6 all day. You're not my
dad.
[Music]
What? Um, Ma also has the music produced
that they did all the sound checks for
GTA 3 up to five, do they? That's pretty
cool. Didn't know that. 12 viewers in
Twitch now.
Jeez. I still don't understand how to
use Twitch anyway. That's why I'm not
really bothered about not knowing my
password
for is mine. I reminding you of the day
before trailer or something. No, no, no,
no, no, no. Like, this is something.
There's there's different levels of
like a pre-release iffiness. You've got
like Paradise, which is such a blatant
scam that it's it's almost funny. Then
you've got like The Day Before, which
was like pretty convincing and they
almost somewhat tried to make an effort
to make the game like okay, but they
just rub pulled it. Then you've got
games like Mind's Eye, which people
genuinely trying to make a good game.
They
just, what's the best way to say, sorry
guys, I am new to criticizing games. I
need to get better at this, but they
need
to
they what minds need to do is understand
that no one there are, don't me wrong,
go on Twitter. There's just people that
like hating on games, hating games. But
most of like the core GTA audience,
which will make up the core audience for
Minds Eye just because of who's in
charge, Leslie Benzes. We want a good
game. And if the game has to get delayed
or there's things that they have to
change or they have to get like or
there's bug fixes they have to fix or
little things like the running in the
game, like the running looks like
Fortnite's run system. is
so that's fine if you're if you're a
younger demographic, but mindset it
looks like it's a more mature game. So,
like having this kitty kind of mechanics
built into a game that's supposed to be
not on par with Grand Theft Auto, but in
the same realm, in the same like
ecosystem. It feels weird. And stuff
like that, which um I just think that
they should stop, pause development, go
like go through those things and cuz
that stuff ties into not just gameplay
mechanics, but it ties into how
convincing the game is to us as a
player. And they're little things like
that which just make me feel a bit
like a little bit the game's a little
bit rushed. And it probably isn't, but
I'm saying it feels like that because of
that.
Um, minds still has time in my opinion.
Day one patch could save the day. Yeah,
I mean, don't get me wrong, like I said
before, the game could come out and and
be great, but all I can comment on so
far is what I saw from, you know, the
footage that we we saw. And, you know,
30 days before launch at the time of us
seeing it, it's a bit like cutting it a
bit fine. And they're the like it wasn't
like a little frame drop here or there.
It was things missing out of the game.
And that's stuff that you fix 6 months
before release, not within the last
couple of weeks before release. Just in
my opinion, this is based on the
conversations I've had with the games
developers. Um, it's really difficult as
well cuz obviously I can't show people
what we saw of the gameplay cuz the
thing is all the footage everyone's seen
from like footage that we've shared as
YouTubers, like even the footage I
shared today was pre-rendered footage.
Not pre-rendered, but it's footage that
they've given us to show you. But the
stuff that we saw of them actually
physically playing the game, like sat
there with a controller doing missions
and stuff, that's not like not
drastically different, but it's very
slightly different in the sense that
it's running on on a device and you can
see things like stuff not ren rendering
in in the distance. And
yeah, like I don't think it's going to
be a [ __ ] game. I think it would be a
good game,
but I'd be like, I know it will release
with bugs, but every game does and it's
fine. They always patch it. But some of
the bugs were like, oh, whole assets are
a whole vehicle is
missing. Is it possible this has been
blown up proportion? To be honest, I
noticed So, this is why I'm a bit This
is why I wanted to do this live stream
to clear off a few things. Since I
dropped my video earlier, people have
taken like one thing I said out of
context. It's gone like all over Twitter
or all over Discord chats and it's like,
hang on a second here. That's not what I
meant. It's not I'm not saying the
game's going to be bad. Like I think it
was um it's been deleted now, but I
believe it was it was it gaming or
something. An article went out and it
referenced my video.
Um, yeah, it it referenced my
video and it just totally misqued me and
it was like, "Fuck, I didn't say that."
So,
yeah. Mind's eye is not just digital. I
hang on. It was a week
ago. Is it not just digital?
Hang on. I need to check this now. But I
got that massively
[Music]
wrong. There it is. It's digital. It
says digital
download. Yeah. Can everyone check that
like on their
end? Um Minds Eyes is a gold mine for
grifters. really is. I've seen this
amount of stuff that I've seen on
Twitter is just brain rot.
Um, can everyone check in their
countries if you can physically buy
pre-order minds? Cuz what I've
seen what what store are you looking
on?
What? But on the Hang on a second here.
Sorry guys. I just need
to PlayStation 5. Here we go. Let
me
pre-order. Yeah, it says download. It
says digital download
only. Is it only digital download in the
UK? Yes. So, I'll speak on the faux pen
world in a
minute.
Very. Hang on. Let me look on
very. That's
interesting. That is very
interesting. You sure it's physical? cuz
it says
here.
Uh, hang on. Sorry guys, we're just
checking this. I will be back to you all
very
shortly. Check
Twitch. I'll have a look. I'll have a
look. But it's on very It says here that
you'll they'll deliver a digital
download code on day date day of
release.
I am so
confused. Um, sorry guys, I'm just
reading chat cuz I'm really confused
right now. Yeah, the thing is, are you
sure it's actually physical copy you get
on Amazon and stuff? Because in the
past, I've ordered games on Amazon and
all these places, but they've like when
you do it, they email you a code to
download the game from PlayStation
Store.
I don't know. I'll check with their
team. I'll ask. I probably won't reply
anymore after after my video
earlier.
Um, Arcadia was also in the Everywhere
builder beta that been going on for the
last year. There's a lot of footage of
what was in the Yeah. So, apparently a
lot of Minds Eye has actually built
using their own system, Arcadia, which
maybe there might be a limitation. Maybe
uh hang on let me let me do one more
check by mind's
eye
physical
copy.
Huh? Maybe you can buy a physical
copy. I didn't know that. Everyone I've
spoken to has said that is this a
digital download key. The more you know,
the more you know.
Guys, sent me a screenshot on Discord.
You legend. Thank you,
Negro. Yeah. Okay, to be honest, I never
mentioned it in any videos anyway, so we
good. Right, let's talk about the, you
know, the open world stuff.
Um, so there's been a lot of debates
about whether Minds Eye is open world,
and this has not been
helped by Mind's
Eye. I'm not bashing on them. I'm just
saying they originally said that it's a
um it's a false like a fake open world.
So, you'll have like a city, but you'll
be locked off to sections of it for
certain missions. But
then during the thing that we saw and
drawing the bits of information that
they've done on interviews since,
they've said that it is open world and
they said in the future it's going to
become open
world, but there's no elaboration on
that. They haven't said what they're
adding to the game in the future. They
haven't said what the like the the focus
is going to be ongoing for the
development of the game. So whether it's
open world or not, really I'm still none
the wiser. I think it's the same for a
lot of people that don't really
understand. Like I understand the fake
open world part where it looks like you
can see the whole city, but you're
actually limited to an area. Normal
stuff. Seen it before. Fine, whatever.
Mafia games are prime example of doing
that. Um not Mafia 3, but Mafia 1 and
two. Um the definitive editions.
Um, but I don't
know. Right. So, the fact that they're
doing physical copies
then check
Twitch. I can't log
in. Hang on.
Let me let
me There you go. It's worked with the
API, right? Let me see if I can check
Twitch with the
API. Jesus. Right. Let's authorize.
There we
go. One second, guys. I just have to
authorize Twitch to do
stuff. Right. Let's go. Twitch.
Uh, I don't know how to use
Twitch. I think I'm logged in. I have no
idea,
though. Hang on. I need to mute the tab.
Why is it playing noise at
me? Why is it playing noise at
me? There we go.
Right, let's go to my
uh channel. Oh my god, my profile
picture on Twitch is the old
one. Um
uh there we go. Right, I've sort of
Twitch chat. Sorry about that, guys.
Oh my god. What the Twitch is a whole
different like ecosystem. How do
I There we go. I'm just banning the
Twitch chat. Not dealing with arguments
on Twitch. Sorted
it.
Right. Right. We're back. We're back. Oh
my days. This is I've got now like three
displays open. We got YouTube, Twitch,
and
Streamlabs. We got eight viewers on
Twitch now. Jesus. I um I just want to I
just want to thank my mom and my dad. Um
you know, couldn't do this without you
guys. I think even when I had my biggest
live stream, which was thousands and
thousands of viewers, I think I only had
like 20 viewers on
Twitch. Can we swim in Mind's Eye? No
idea.
Uh, right. Let me
check.
Um, right. I'm
just I'm going back to YouTube now.
We're going to we're going to we're
going to chat on YouTube. I like YouTube
chat. It's nicer. I can't see both at
the moment now. That's good. I'll fix
that. Right. Are we working now? We are
working. We are back in the room. We are
back in the
room. But chat has frozen on
YouTube. There we go. We're back. We're
back. Uh why don't you use the YouTube
overlay to rehat so you can see Twitch
and YouTube at the same time? I don't
need to. So soon I'm getting some new
glasses and those glasses are going to
have a little screen inside them like a
um augmented reality display that will
show me chat. So, I don't even need the
screen. Um, I can't wait to do that
video. It is a brand deal, but it is so
cool. Like, I genuinely cannot wait
cannot wait to do that video because
that's like obviously brands reach out
all the time and offer me stuff and you
know, 99.9% of the time I just say no.
But this is the one brand I was like,
yes. Cuz that actually fixes a genuine
problem. And this is one of the reasons
that gameplay streams aren't that common
on my channel because wearing these
glasses, it does limit my visibility.
Um, not massively, but it's like it's
not great for gaming. I can see games
and I it'll be fine, but it's just not
comfortable. So, yeah. Cyberpunk ass
invention. I feel you. Ah,
technology. I might have to get Cyber
Boy 2077 glasses before GTA
6. Then stop wearing them. No, cuz
privacy thing is though, like so at
first the glasses and the mask and
everything were a privacy thing. Like
that was So I had I got to like 2,000
subscribers and I think it was about
2,000 and I hadn't shown my face or
anything, but I thought cuz I've spent
years like editing videos for YouTubers
and being in the industry for years and
I can color grade. I haven't actually
color graded this stream. Um I did color
grade some of my old ones. It will be
coming back soon, don't worry. new
studio, new camera, new color grades,
all coming. But
um I thought, okay, I want to be on
camera because you can kind of like
convey [ __ ] but and it also helps
differentiate the content from other
gaming YouTube content. Like you see one
of my videos, you'll know it's one of my
videos, but at the same time, it's like
how do I do it in a way
that like establishes the brand? So this
is like version two of the mask. version
one was like blue with like different
glasses like the GTA glasses. It just
looked a bit It was a bit too neon for
me. It was just a bit too much. Um and
the mask was so uncomfortable. Like it
was just horrible. Whereas this mask is
like a proper nice cotton mask and
everything. So
um has anyone ever told you the
similarities between your mask and
Wrench's m mask from Watchd Dogs 2? So
yes, I hadn't played Watchd Dogs 2 until
after I've been wearing the mask for
like 2 months and everyone was saying
it. So then I played Watchd Dogs 2 and I
realized that it was a it was a pretty
cringe game. Like don't get me wrong, I
the irony isn't lost on me. But um it it
was one of those games where you talk
about some technical aspects of like
hacking and stuff. Some of the stuff
they say is so unbelievably cringe and
it's like oh no. They just said that
they said I think there's one line where
they're like um we're doing something to
the firewall or something like that but
they absolutely butchered it and I was
like oh no please don't please no please
stop. You're embarrassing
me. You said how you doing
man your desk that high are you just
short? Uh, I'm 8 foot nine and strong.
No. Um, I have my desk high up because
when I edit, I edit with my hands like
this. It's just comfy. Also, cuz my
camera is attached to the desk, it
allows me to adjust the position of
everything just by moving the desk up
and down. So, yeah, I'm just comfy like
this. And the chair is like all the way
down. I like it. It also means you get
slightly downward angle on the room. So,
you get a bit of the ceiling, you get a
bit of the floor. Yeah, just I'm so so
so nerdy. Yeah. 8 foot kings unite.
Yeah, man. 8 foot.
Yeah. Okay, then just stand up. Do not
test
me. Did you ban the pet guy on Twitch? I
didn't even read out of his chat, so I
just knew it was absolute carnage, so I
just blocked him.
He's more than welcome to come to the
YouTube chat if he reigns in the
um if uh if he if he reigns in the
uh well the
spam. I have fluff in my eye. This is
not where you want to be. If I sound
like I'm crying, it's cuz I
am. This is just the MMA guru with a
mascot.
[Music]
Wait, that is very true cuz I I am 8
foot. Yeah, definitely believe
it when we get the boat breakdown video.
So, I started working on it, but it's
one of those videos where I want to film
it like a bit more special. I want to
put the camera in different places
around the room and break down different
bits and talk about stuff and cut to it.
I want to put more effort into that
video than I put into any other video
before. So, it is coming, but that'll be
like after I clear all of the GTA 6
locations, after I've done all the
characters and the full deep dive, by
the way, the full deep dive video. So,
it's a combination of a few videos I've
already made with corrections and new
information. That video is going to be
about 4 and 1/2 hours long. Um, that'll
be the longest video I've ever made. So,
um,
yeah, that's coming. It's really late,
so I've got to go. Wish you all a great
stream. Thank you so much and thank you
for stopping by. Big
love. You've been here since like day
one man. You've been here like God,
you've been here since I think I started
my channel what over a year ago. You
were here about 2,000 3,000 subs
somewhere around there. What keyboards
that video will be coming. Don't worry.
Keyboard keyboard video will be coming.
Off topic, back to mind's eye. Do you
think the multiplayer will be like GTA
when they add it in? Honestly, I have no
idea. So, this is one of the things
actually here's
um here's something that I do want to
talk about.
So, with Minds Eye, when we originally
approached about joining their like
preview call, we were told that we'd be
able to hop on and like uh ask
questions. Well, turns out that wasn't
during the live stream. The question
section is after the live stream, we're
able to send in questions. But myself
and many of the creators had the kind of
mindset of we'd have this preview event,
the live stream where we can see all
this footage, then they were going to
send us footage and then we'd be able to
watch through the footage, come up with
some questions, and then email the
questions over. So already it went from
like live stream to emailing over. Well,
because we didn't receive any of the
footage until like over a week later.
Um, I was moving house uh last week. So
from like Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday,
Thursday, I was and finishing this place
off.
So, it was
like Yeah, it it was it was a
bit how's the best way to describe it?
It was kind of like, oh, we can't send
you any footage yet cuz there's been a
delay in the process. And then they sent
us all the footage and then we were
given the option to ask questions. But
this was like a week before today. It's
like a week yesterday. So, we really
only had like a small period of time to
watch through all of the footage they
sent, write notes, write a video, film a
video, record a video, get a list of
questions we want together, talk to our
communities about what they want to know
about the game, and get it sent over.
And it was just a bit like I'm not
rushing I'm not rushing through this
this whole thing for the cuz I'd end up
just asking questions for the sake of it
because they gave us the opportunity.
I'd ask stupid questions. I would have
rather just had like the footage sent,
you know, at the start of the month, but
I don't blame them for that. It's just a
time scheduling thing. It didn't really
work out for for them and and for me as
a creator. A few of the creators have
said the same thing that they they
didn't really bother sending questions
in.
So, one second. I need to turn off
Twitch chat on my
phone. There we go. We're
off. You moving house right now? I feel
my pain. I feel you, man. It's so
stressful, man. I I genuinely got sick
like the back end of last week cuz of
moving with so much
stress. Estimated how long is the Diana
video? Probably 4 minutes. There's
nothing to
it. 3K sub
gang.
Um, YouTube have added YouTube
playables. I have heard about that. I
haven't actually looked at it yet.
[Music]
when you when I did the giveaway. That's
when you subscribe. Jesus. Yeah, that
was December
23. That was absolutely nuts as well cuz
I I was so broke. I still gave away PS5.
I remember my bank account at Christmas
was like minus $1,000 or something. It
was it Yeah, it was that was rough. Can
we at least see your
hair? No.
Do I think the GTA 6 map would be like
GTA San Andreas or San Fier Last
Venturius? It's really hard to make a
comparison just because of how old the
game is now.
So, what aspect of M's eye appeals to me
the most from what I've seen so far? The
city. The city does look cool. The only
thing that did throw me off, and it's
actually I know a few of the creators, I
haven't seen their videos yet, but they
said they were going to talk about it.
The lack of
NPCs. There just wasn't any population
density for any of the locations. There
was I I remember that even on the
footage they've released, if you look
like some of the driving shots, you'll
see like maybe one NPC
um driving through a city. It's just a
bit
like bold people to assume you have
hair. Yeah. How would you know I have
hair? Don't talk about myious
locks.
Um so I'm just catching up with chat,
guys. I've been
waffling. I
uh we've only seen your hands every
time. That's true. Actually, it's the
only thing you guys have seen in my
hands.
When I did my studio build series, when
I started like the initial work, had to
go through and blur out all of my
tattoos, which by the way, people asking
where the last episode of the studio
build is, is taking longer because I was
wearing a short sleeve
t-shirt. So, I had to go through and
blur out everything. Um, but I didn't
want to do it to the point where it's
just like blurs all over the screen. So,
I had to do it a bit more tastefully.
So, that video is done. By the way, the
the last two episodes of the studio
build are done. I'm just
procrastinating cuz it's I finished it
the day before uh trailer 2 came out and
obviously life got a bit busy around
then and then the week later I moved
house. So
um W
says I have a beefy PC but I can't wait
for the PC port for GTA 6. I bought a
PS5. What do I think? I think yeah it's
a good choice. I mean, you know, I
bought a PS5 Pro just for GTA 6, but
seeing how good it looks on the base
PS5, I don't think anyone's going to
have any problems. The game looks
beautiful.
Um, we're all mentally preparing
ourselves to once again be let down by
our hyped game release. Um, Cyborg got
the monk haircut. Isn't that like you
shaved the middle and you got the hair
around the edge? Cuz that would be sick.
I'd rock that. I'd do a face reveal with
that.
Um, have I seen the backstory video that
was made about Diana? No, I haven't. I
will have a look.
Uh, just catching up with chat. Sorry
guys, I'm just reading. I'm I know I'm
supposed to be like presenting right
now. I'm just enjoying reading chat. I'm
just
um hit the like button, guys. Yeah, what
a legend. Thank you, man. Yeah, everyone
smash that like button. Oh, should I do
like what the over-the-top American like
kid YouTubers do? Like, yo, guys, smash
that like button, subscribe to the
channel, and I'll see you all in the
next. I can't do that. I just don't have
the energy. I think I'm just getting
old. I'm not Well, I'm not getting old.
I'm just not as young as I once was. I
just don't have the energy
anymore. I used to have a YouTube
channel. I'm not sure if I should talk
about this in case people find it. I
used to have a YouTube channel.
[Music]
Um, and uh I used to do videos like
that. Not enough red arrows in. Yeah, I
only I've I've limited myself, guys. I
only use one red arrow and thumbnails
from now on. Um, you know, I did try and
fit
4,964 thumbnails. Um, red arrows in my
thumbnails, but apparently it's too
much. If the GTA 4 news is good, uh, is
true, would I get it? Yeah, 100%. If
they port GTA 4 to the PS5, which I to
honest, everything we've heard so far is
happening, that'd be awesome, man. Like,
that game deserves to be on a PS5. It
won't be remastered, sadly, but you
know, it'd be nice to be able to play
it. Um, what's the best part of being a
YouTuber? Working whenever I want.
That's the best part. The bad part is
working whenever I want because it means
that you end up working all the time. I
um like you got to think as well I'm
putting out nearly daily videos. They've
got to be written, recorded, edited,
thumbnails done, titles, tags,
description, and then any spare time as
brand deals cuz obviously, you know,
YouTube doesn't pay at my current
channel size. It doesn't pay
exceptionally well, but brand deals make
up 80 to 90% of revenue for the channel
um on a good month. So, like negotiating
all that, recording that, getting that
signed off, approved. Um, I've I've been
very fortunate that video I haven't had
any videos like properly delayed due to
brand deals yet. I had one video out of
over 500 videos that was delayed due to
a brand deal. But other than that,
Touchwood been good. That was a brand
deal as well. The
desk. Do I work out? I used to I stopped
but I'm now getting back into where I've
moved where I used to live like
was there was nowhere to go like at all.
Where I live now there is. So, I'm going
to start um and now Grand Theft Auto has
been delayed. I've now got a year to
like get in better shape um and properly
start looking after myself. I already
am. I'm sleeping better now. I'm looking
after myself better. Um yeah, I just
feel I'm way That's why I'm streaming
more now as well cuz like where I was
before, like there wasn't really any
daylight in the room. So, you were I was
sat in the dark for 18 hours a day just
making videos and it's just not a way to
live. Now I go out and do stuff every
day nearly now. So it's
nice. GTA boy has touched grass. GTA boy
has touched
grass. I'm just allergic to
grass. Um see what chat's
saying. Uh Mindside Driving reminds me
of a Ubisoft game. Yeah, 100% man. 100%.
That was like the biggest criticism. Um,
Adam, thank you for becoming a member,
man. What a legend. Um, biggest
criticism of Mafia 3. In fact, Fishy
really he touched on it really well in a
video that he did a couple of days ago
where like Mafia just Mafia 3 felt like
an Ubisoft game and that's never a good
thing. Um, man, Ubisoft's in the gutter
at the moment, isn't it? Cyber grass,
blue grass, cyber games. Imagine
um this is a void at launch for me. Do
you know what this is? This is the
annoying thing about being a YouTuber.
For me, for Mind's eye, I'd like to like
give it a week to come out and just see
if they end up pulling it from the
shelves or whatever happens. But I
can't. I've got to get it. I've got to
try it. And the thing is, I'm hoping I'm
hoping I'm hoping more than anything
that the footage that they showed us 3
weeks ago is nothing like the game's
going to be at launch. If it comes out
and they fix all those issues, we are in
for an amazing summer. Like, it's going
to be the best. Playing all those games
going to be absolutely incredible. Um,
especially with like Mafia coming as
well. We're going to have like the best
summer for gaming until next year,
obviously.
But I'm also aware that the likelihood
that they'll fix all of those issues and
the game will be somewhat perfect at
launch based on what I saw, is probably
not going to happen. Um, yeah.
Um, your video was a godsend. Like 3
hours before you posted, I was debating
whether or not to
pre-order. Well, when it So, I
originally said in my video earlier
today, I said that I wasn't going to
post uh videos of me playing Minds Eye
because I wanted to play it first and
then decide if I wanted to make videos
about it. A lot of people made a very
valid point, whereas me posting episode
one, two of the playthrough might help
people decide whether they want to play
it. But I also need to like I want to
put it out there and put it out into the
universe so I can clip this later on. If
I do a playthrough episode one or two
and I don't enjoy the game, I'm not just
going to continue playing it for views,
money, whatever. And if I don't enjoy
it, I'm not going to play it on YouTube
because then we end up with like 20
videos on my account with barely any
well maybe loads of views, but something
I haven't enjoyed and it's not the
content that I'm massively interested
in. Um, if I'm not enjoying the game,
that's what I mean. So,
um, yeah, if it's a good game, like
we'll play it all the way through and
we'll end up diving into it. Um, I'm
just a bit nervous about starting a
playthrough and then finding out it's a
bit meh and then having to finish a
playthrough. Yeah, I remember I did it
with Red Dead Redemption 2. I started a
playthrough on that and the videos got
no views. We we're talking like 80 views
a video. I mean, back then I had way
less subs, but I stopped doing that
playthrough. And obviously there was a
core audience that really wanted to hear
my thoughts and opinions on Red Dead,
but you got to remember I played it when
it came out six years ago. Like, so
yeah, I stopped that play
through.
[Music]
Um, reading chat. Sorry
guys. Project Medieval. Yeah. So,
there's rumors that Rockstar working on
a medievalbased game, but it is worth
remembering that source code was dated
to like 2006 that I don't think that
game's ever going to make it come out,
especially with a lot of games being
based in older time periods. I don't
think Rockstar really are focusing on
doing that sort of stuff. Um, I think
there was some rumors about a pirate
game, Rockstar working on a game where
you're a pirate. I would love that cuz
that would be really cool. You get like
the whole Red Dead Redemption look and
feel with the GTA 6 water physics
combined into a pirate themed game like
Pirates of the Caribbean game sort of
stuff made by Rockstar. That would
be
amazing.
Uh what games would you like to see
Rockstar try? Let me know. Like what
would you what would you like to see
Rockstar attempt? Would you like to see
him do a um like a pirate game? I think
personally I mean everyone's got an
opinion, but I think a medieval game
from Rockstar would be a bit eh cuz
nothing really happens other than
castles and dungeons and whatever. I'm
more into boats. So pirate game would be
right down my alley. or even a modernday
pirate
game like you know modern
piracy. They need to make a teenage male
protagonist. They unfortunately wouldn't
be able to do
that. Not for a Grand Theft Auto
game because of the depictions of
children committing atrocities. They pro
they probably wouldn't go down too
well. Imagine the ESRB like getting an
email from Rockstar, "By the way, we
want a mature rating for this so we can
sell it in Walmart. What's the basis of
the story of a
16-year-old committing atrocities?"
Yeah, Cyborg, like I said, space saving
travel game like No Man's Sky and stuff
attempted would be amazing.
Maybe, but Rockstar Rockstar tend to
ground well over the last obviously 15
years ground a lot of their games in a
form of reality. So I don't know if
they'd they'd do something like that,
but maybe maybe I mean it's Rockstar.
Every prediction we've made about
Rockstar, well actually that's a
lie. 80% of the predictions made about
Rockstar have been wrong.
So Bully too. The problem with so I
would love a Bully 2 mainly just so I
can see Swagger get back into the swing
of bully content but the only reason I
don't think Bully 2 will happen is
because Bully 2 worked because it was
based in the school and it was a limited
world. It worked in the format of
PlayStation 2 um but an Xbox 360 and all
that stuff. It worked in that small
format. When you try and if you have GTA
6 then then Bully 2 like how do Rockstar
make that a game that you know they got
Red Dead Redemption 2 which is made them
hundreds of millions. GTA 5 did the same
thing or billions. Then you go Bully 2.
How are they going to scale that into a
game that can do similar numbers? I
don't think they'd spend the time nor
money on that because they would recover
the investment, but why do that when
they can make a game that's going to
make them billions? So, that's that's
But once again, I'm probably wrong. I'm
I can't get in the mind of Rockstar and
their their business planning
meetings. Bully 2 was a thing, but they
axed it. And that begs the question,
they probably axed it for a reason.
There's multiple theories what the
reasons were and I think Swag will
probably be the great guy to, you know,
I'll probably get him on for an
interview to talk about that. Um, but
yeah, table tennis too, you know,
imagine Rockstar remake table tennis
now. That'd be so good.
The problem with Midnight Club, the
reason why I don't think Rockstar would
ever do in Midnight Club again is
because if you look at what they're
looking at doing with like if you look
at the modifications we got in GTA V and
GTA online and compare it to what we're
going to get in GTA 6. If you think of
an open world racing game, well, that's
going to be GTA 6. Like midnight, all
the features of another Midnight Club
game would be in GTA 6. So,
um, Midnight Club is literally Jesus.
Yeah,
100%. Uh, Rockstar pirate game with
cannons and ships and plundering and
stuff. Yeah, that'd be awesome,
man. Thing is that Rockstar could do an
amazing cuz pirate games like they have
you'll have like settlements like Guam
where your pirate ship would go and
you'd seize islands. I reckon Rockstar
could do the best pirate game for a
quarter of the budget that they spent on
GTA 5. Forget GTA 6, a quarter of the
budget they spent on GTA 5 because I
reckon a small team could do an amazing
job on even like a 10-hour story. It'd
be incredible to see Rockstar do a
little um pirate thing. I'd love
Rockstar to focus on smaller games, you
know, like games that, you know, we
don't pay as much for, but we see like
maybe 20 different ideas that Rockstar
has. And if they only charge us $20 per
game, but they try loads of different
things and the one that we buy the most
of, they'll make the full game. If they
want to test that, do it because we'd
all love it. like seeing what Rockstar
can do with GTA 6 and what they did with
Red Dead and even GTA V going back you
know all those years whatever they
decide to do with like different games
would be insane absolutely insane like
to see what all these different ideas
they can do. Yeah.
Mental. Uh David says I was in Luke's
Discord voice last week or so and I
asked him if he thinks GTA 6 will have
the same level of gore as in Red Dead 2
and he said the uh and the answer I got
from him was kind of rude. Yeah, I to be
honest I I'm not sure if anyone's seen
my video on Ned Luke. I he went from
being like my favorite um voice actor in
a game because me growing up, I grew up
with GTA 5 to being someone that I don't
particularly like his attitude like he
started saying anyone that talks about
GTA 6 is uh you know trying to misle
mislead people, click baiters and all of
this stuff and you know what fair enough
you can have that opinion. Yeah, but
when the whole 27 theory thing happened,
he put 27 with five stars or six stars
after it. Um, and then tried to mark use
it to market a brand deal. So, he it's
kind of the the popcorn in the kettle
black, if you know what I mean. So,
yeah. I don't know. I I love Ned Luke as
a performer, as as an artist, but I
don't
um like he hates every GTA YouTuber
apparently. Well, no, not hates, but he
he takes jabs at the at GTA YouTubers
when we're we're just fans and his own
words are the fans of the game. So, it's
just a bit weird. Never meet her here.
Yeah, it was just really weird. It's
like I reached out to him like a year
ago asking for an interview and I never
got a reply cuz I was a small channel.
And for me, my goal, I've said this to
many other creators, my goal of last
year would be it would be great to get
an interview with Ned Luke. That would
be like for me a pillar of my channel
doing well. That would be like a thing
where I have a a sense of pride about
what my channel's doing. And then to
have him come after GTA YouTubers on
Twitter and spec specifically start
replying to me, it was a bit
like, yeah, it sucked. I'll be on
brutally honest. Don't care. It hurt.
Like actually hurt. So, um I'm a big boy
and I can handle it, but Jesus Christ,
didn't feel good. It didn't feel good at
all.
Um thing is he he made a jab at Mr. Boss
for the win. Boss man, [ __ ] the world. I
get that. Like, because that that's so
egregious
and it's Yeah, I get that. but then like
taking jabs at other GTA creators like
who like for me I I sacrifice views on
videos like I know there's videos if I
post a video right now saying there's
another GTA 6 leak that video will do
100,000 views in an hour 2 hours I know
it will not do that because it's not
true. However, Mr. Boss for the win will
find a snippet of information that could
be considered a leak. Call it there's a
new GTA 6 leak. put something mad in the
thumbnail. Post it. And that's the
difference. It's more about integrity.
So
yeah, he's even given TG a few jabs.
Yeah. I mean, so TGGG, like I'm not
going to I'm not going to discuss what
me and TG spoke about, but even TG put a
statement out after saying
like the the rapidness of the the fan
base cuz when Ned even if Ned was joking
when he replied to TG, it bear in mind,
guys, we're going back like 2 months
here, but when even if he was
joking, it was so ambiguous to the point
where some people might not think he's
joking. And what actually happened was
loads of people started attacking TGG
because of something Ned said. Loads of
people replying to TG calling him a
liar, click bait and all of this. And
it's it's attracting the negative
attention. And even if it was meant as a
joke, when you've got, you know,
hundreds of thousands of followers that
hang on every word you say, like I'm not
going to start stabbing inside jokes at
people publicly on social media.
Obviously, I don't have the same
following. It's not the same at all. But
if I had like a million followers,
you're very careful and selective of
what you post because you can cause
people to like I I had I had hundreds of
people messaging me like some of the
most viol stuff. I had someone telling
me to to you know myself like
mental. So Saints fans click bait.
Saints fan don't want to speak ill of
the guy but some of his titles and
thumbnails have been a little bit a
little bit taking some liberties. Not as
bad as Mr. No one's as bad as Must was
the win, but TG is a good person, right?
So, I I've spoke about it before, but
I'm going to give TG props again. I
reached out to him. Well, we talk a
little bit occasionally, but not not a
lot. But I I messaged him and I just
said, "Hey, man. I really want to take
my channel to the next
level. What do I need to do? Like, how
like can I just get just a little line
of advice, just a little bit?" and he
basically gave me some advice and like
what sort of content I should be
pivoting towards. I did it half a
million views the next day. Um, and the
truth is is GTA 6 content doesn't get
views throughout the year until the
game's out. So that's why like for the
past 3 months until trailer 2, I
pivoted. I made like one GTA video a
week and then the rest of them were like
different games and they all did really
well. My most viewed videos on my
channel aren't Grand Theft Auto videos.
Um, and that's because
TGGG. So, you know, one day in the
future maybe me and TG fall out, but
he's always always got my respect and uh
he's in my good graces forever
cuz
yeah, he's a good guy. Same for Dark
Viper as well. Like Dark Viper's help me
with a lot a lot of stuff. um little
thing. They might be little things to
him, like little bits of advice, but to
me make a big difference because they're
all things I've implemented. And here we
are now nearly at 50,000 subscribers.
And that was my goal for the end of the
year. And I think the past month has
been 7,000.
So TG is Australian. Yeah, that is the
only downside. I'm
joking. No, we we love TG.
It is really weird how concentrated GTA
YouTubers are in Australia, though.
There's so many of them. Like, it is
weird how like they hold the top spot.
And I don't think there's any rhyme or
reason to it. It's just a coincidence.
But it's cool. I like it.
Um, what do I think about
Rockstar patenting or patenting gameplay
and graphic systems? Is it fair for the
companies? Yeah. So, this has been a
massive conversation for debate.
So basically, Take to Interactive, they
like trademark and they they own the
like if they develop a new system for
like character animation, they'll file a
patent on it and they'll own it. Like so
if anyone copies it or steals it,
they'll have to pay take two. And
everyone's against it for the one reason
that it stifles innovation, but I'd like
to offer an alternative there. I don't
think it stifles innovation. And the
main reason I don't think it stifles
innovation is because okay, we can't
copy that. So let's go and try and do
our own version and let's do something
different. That that's innovation. So I
think that it will encourage people to
innovate in a different way. But at the
same time, if you spent, say, for
example, you went to the bank and you
took out a loan for $10,000 and you used
that money to design a new system to
animate characters. Yeah. Imagine you
spent that money. You took you took that
risk. You put up that risk. You put up
that financial risk.
and then someone came along and just
totally copied your idea and they went
off and used it in their game and made
hundreds of millions of
dollars, you'd want your you'd want your
percentage. And it's the same with Take
to Interactive like but for them it's
not 10 grand, it's millions like they'll
they'll buy companies for technology.
And I think that you know there's the
capitalism argument, there's the kind of
like more socialist way of doing things.
I think
personally capitalism in this instance
does tend to be the one that
works. I don't know. We'll
see. Um, can you post the photo of those
GTA frame on your wall, please? Uh, what
do you mean? Sorry. Oh, you mean that
thing in the
background? Yes, I will actually mention
that in tomorrow's video or video day
after. I'll do like a little section.
I've got a shout out anyway because they
sent it to me. So,
uh, sorry guys, I'm just catching the
chat. So, I have any opinions on E3
never returning? Rockstar actually
announced GTA 4 E3 in 2006. Yeah, it's a
shame. It is a shame. Um, it's This is a
prime example though, the gaming
industry changing. Like, we used to Why
Why is that Why does that keep
happening?
Did that just happen? Did that just
happen for you guys as well? Did you
just see a load of balloons go across
the screen? I just want to see if that
actually happens on the live stream.
There's a bit of a delay. So, I'm
watching over here. That was so weird.
Yeah, it did. It happened on the live
stream. Why? I don't have to turn that
off. So, we now have balloons.
Woo! Party
time. Um, yeah. Anyway, as I was saying,
E3. So yeah, the gaming industry is
changing and we're even seeing it like
forget gaming events for a second. We'll
get back to that. But when talking about
how games are marketed, um games
developers are outgrowing the events
that they usually market as. So Rockstar
Games wouldn't release a trailer at a
gaming event because their platforms are
bigger than any gaming event. Um, so it
comes to a scenario where games
developers, especially with the
advancements to social media, especially
over the past 5 years, in particular,
the way that Tik Tok just took off,
um, games developers aren't as reliant
on mainstream media for advertisement
now. And these E3 events and many
different events are owned, run, managed
by big corporations, like, you know,
multi multi multi-million dollars to put
on. Well, games developers don't need to
do that anymore because the market's
actually got better in the sense
that marketing budget doesn't really
help sell a game. Whether a game is good
is the biggest thing. Like, you can have
the best marketing budget, but if your
game's crap, it won't sell. Um, it might
sell day one and then you'll never get
repeat sales. So, I think E3 going is
like a sign of times changing and it's
sad,
but it's the way the market is going for
gaming and we can't really work with it.
So, we just have to kind of embrace it
and and take it as it
is. 480 million views in 24 hours proves
that 100%. However, I did talk about
this in the previous stream. It wasn't
actually 480 million views. It was more
like 200 million. Um, for some reason
they included the impressions, not the
impressions, uh, they included the views
on Twitter and Instagram, but doesn't
really count because a view on
Instagram, if you scroll past the post,
like just in a feed, just flick past it,
it counts as a view.
And yeah, I don't know. They included a
lot of
um, miscommunicated data. It's not like
YouTube where you click on the video for
it to count as a view.
I lost my
balloon. Got to go cyber. Thank you for
coming by. Easy does it, man. Appreciate
you. Still a
view.
Um, it's your birthday. A year's
actually passed. You didn't notice it
because of time
dilation. Uh, the B in cyber is for for
balloon. It is. It's a balloon boy. It's
a balloon boy. I've just seen that
scroll buddy. Oh dear. Right guys, I am
going to call the stream there cuz I'm a
tired boy today. Um, but like I said
before, streams are back. Um, I'm going
to try and do them every two days.
Probably more. Let's be honest. I enjoy
it. Um, there will be gameplay streams
coming soon. I'm going to get a new
capture card. I want to get an 8K
capture card. And there's a video I hit
my microphone. There's a video coming
why I want to capture an AK. I'll
explain
it. I just swallowed some fluff. I need
a drink, but I got my mask on. Need to
get that liquid death in me. That was
horrible, guys. I apologize for that.
That was the grimst thing I've ever
done. There's a reason why I want to
capture an 8K. Um, but it's for a video
that's coming up soon, cuz there's a new
little video series I want to do, but it
doesn't matter. We'll talk about that in
a different video. Uh, thank you so much
for watching the stream. Um, I know this
one's been a bit longer than normal. I
will try and do longer streams on going.
Um, it's a lot easier now. There's an
air conditioning unit on in the
background, so it's a lot cooler in
here. Um, old place, it was ridiculous
this time of year. It was like 32, 34°
inside. That's in Celsius. So, thank you
all so much for being here. I appreciate
you all. Um, few little things I want to
mention. Um, people have mentioned the
hoodie is a link down below. Merch
stores down below. If you do order
anything over a dollar, like there is
free wallpapers and stuff on there, like
stuff that I've created. Everything's
created by me, designed by me. Um, any
orders that are over a dollar, I'll send
you like a video thank you message. And
it's not like some pre-recorded thing. I
do actually check what your order is,
who you are, and send you a proper thank
you. Um, cuz I appreciate it. That helps
support the channel. So, um, yeah, I
appreciate you all. So, thank you so
much for watching and podcast episodes
either coming out tomorrow or day after
and there's the Diana video, there's a
boat video, there's another location
video, there's a characters video for
GTA 6. We've got so much stuff going on
and I just want to get videos out. I
want you guys to see what I've been
working on. So, thank you and I love you
all. I want to give you a love heart.
Let's see if this works this
time. It's You know what? I need There
we go. Here we go. Sometimes I just sit
here like a knobhead just doing this,
just trying to figure it out. But we got
there in the end. Thank you for
watching, guys. I'll see you all in the
next one.

Hey, hey, hey.

Hey, hey, hey.

He want
me. Heat. Hey, Heat.
[Music]
[Music]
[Music]
Heat. Heat.
[Music]
See you.
[Music]
[Music]
Yo everyone, how are you all doing? Can
you all hear me? Okay, can you see me?
Okay, same checks as usual, guys, cuz
I've had it before where I've started
rambling and people couldn't see me or
hear me.
So, let me see what chat's saying. Hello
everyone. How are you all doing? Yes.
Yo, man, what a day it's been today.
What a day it's been today. We've got
quite a bit to talk about in regards to
Minds Eye. So, we will go through all of
the little bits of
um stuff. We'll just call it stuff.
We'll call it stuff. I've uh put a
message in the Mind's Eye Discord just
to say I'm about to be streaming. Um I
know a lot of people had questions. So,
just to give you all a little bit of
context about 3 weeks ago, actually, no,
two weeks ago, um Minds Eye, the team
behind Minds Eyee, um invited a load of
creators to go and preview an event, um
which is just like a it was like a
team's call, like a Zoom call where we
could watch through a load of gameplay,
some cinematics, and some other little
features in the game. and they kind of
very quickly took us through a lot of
the details.
Um, and there's a lot to go through
because it it left a bad taste in a few
creators mouth, but I don't I don't want
to put words in other people's mouths. I
want to talk about my experience u with
the Minds Eye team and uh see if anyone
Yeah, a few people are saying they're
going to join and say hello. So, I think
without further ado,
um, mine's I got taken down from
PlayStation store. Hang on a second
here. That is a curveball. Are you
sure? Are you
sure? Sorry, I need to check this
quickly, guys, cuz that throws a massive
curveball into
um a load of things I was about to say.
Let's just
check. Was it ever on the PlayStation
store? No, it's still there. It's still
available. Gift of money for a monster.
Thank you so much, dude. Thank you for
the super chat. Is that what I think a
mouse? This thing here? Yeah, this is my
trackpad. I use this for video editing
cuz it allows you to like scroll through
the timeline. Don't know about this
thing. That's also a mouse. That's what
I use for like well pretty much
everything
else. I know it's not ergonomic, but
looks retro and it's cool. Okay, don't
bully me in chat.
Right. You can't find out on your end.
It might be country maybe. Not sure.
Let's talk about Mind's Eye. So, I'll
take you from start to finish. I'm
probably won't be as active in chat, but
thank you for the super chats plans.
Thank you, dude. So happy actually
didn't pre-order this game, but I'm a
bit sad since I was genuinely hyped.
Probably going to wait for a sale, mate.
My thoughts exactly. Let's go into what
happened with the Minds Eye event. So,
um, I first contacted the team at Minds
Eye probably 6 weeks ago to say, "Hey,
I'd love to interview your team. I'd
love to interview their developers
because obviously it's no secret that
the marketing for Mind's Eye has been
really quiet and like there isn't much
information other than like the small
snippet trailers that they've been
posting. Obviously, there's the main
trailers, but let's be honest, main
trailers can be a little bit deceiving."
So um I reached out to them and they
said there weren't any opportunities to
interview any of their team which
firstly understand secondly I am a very
small channel um so I understand that.
So, um, I was actually really pleased
when they they used the third party
company to reach out to different
YouTubers, a lot of YouTubers of which
are my friends on YouTube, and one of
the people they reached out to was me,
to ask if we'd like to join a preview
event where we can actually watch
through game play. Um, and they'll talk
us through everything. And the way I
understood it will be the same as it is
for most of the game events I've done
where normally you have like an hour or
45 minutes of them showing you gameplay
explaining what stuff is and then at the
end usually there's like 15 well as
little as 10 but as much as half an hour
of Q&As's where you can ask questions,
you can write notes so when you go and
make your video you can talk about it.
Now during all of this like process we
were told that there's an embargo. So um
whilst we didn't sign a physical
contract, there's usually if you agree
to something over email, it acts about
well if if you agree to something over
email, it acts kind of like a contract
in the sense that it's a written
agreement. So they had their embargo
which basically mean that we weren't
able to talk about this until the 22nd
of May today. Um so today we could talk
about it. And to be
honest, there's a lot of reasons why
there's a ne there's negative reviews
about obviously not the game itself.
None of us have played the game, but
we've seen the preview footage and h
it's really difficult to know where to
start of all of this. So, I'm just going
to go through and it might be a bit
sporadic and eventually I'll probably
cut this into a video, but let's just
start off with the actual call itself.
So, it was a team's call that we um
jumped on to. So we they sent us an
invite link. Unfortunately, so they ran
them every evening for like a week and I
couldn't make it to one of the events
because um I had a speed awareness
course cuz I was caught speeding 35 mph
and a 30. I know. Um send me to prison.
Um so they had this like um thing. So
they very gratefully they managed to put
me onto the the event for the next day.
Now there aren't loads of people in in
these Zoom calls um these teams calls.
There's literally like four YouTubers at
a time. So for me, I'm not going to say
who is in my call, but some other
creators I know quite well.
Um,
and during that call, it was very very
like wham bam, thank you, ma'am. It was
very like they introed like the call
started. They said hi. They introduced
themselves around the call. None of the
creators got to say anything. Like none
of us got to get a word in which is
really weird. Uh, normally they just
say, "Hey, I'm a YouTuber that does
this." or whatever. Usually there's a
especially when there's only like four
people in the call, but no, we didn't
say anything to each other. The the
agency that you know reached out to us
as influencers, they introduced
themselves. Then Minds Eye um gave us a
bit of insight and then two of the
people kind of left the call. They came
off the video call and then the rest of
the time it was Adam Whiting. Adam, I
think his name's Adam Whiting. He's
their production head. He pretty much in
charge of everything production wise
with Mind's Eye. So, um, it was very for
like an hour straight. I can't remember
exactly how long the call was. And we'll
get back to that in a minute cuz that's
important. It was very intro. Here's
some cut scenes. Here's what the game is
about. Here's what we're trying to
achieve. Here's what we're doing. Here's
what's going to be in the game. Um, the
hidden one's just put in the chat. So,
I'm assuming he's very okay with me
saying he's one of the people that was
on the calls. It felt very pre-recorded,
and that's exactly my thoughts. It felt
like because no one was allowed to talk
like or get a word in or ask a question,
it felt like we were being shown a
pre-recorded presentation. Um,
especially when some key things that
happened supposedly happened for other
people's. Now, I don't know what
gameplay other people saw because I
believe we all saw the same missions.
Um,
but it was very like wham bam thank you
man where they showed you stuff and then
stuff happened and then they said right
now we're going to move on to this. So
this is a cut scene. Next we're going to
jump to this mission. Then it was so if
you think I'm talking fast now, it was
so quick and fast-paced. And this is
where the big problem comes in. Before
we talk about the problems with the
game, which we will get on to, this is
where the big problem comes in where we
were given this opportunity to see
gameplay, but we weren't able to record
it. They didn't record it for us on
their end. So, we had the length of that
call like where we couldn't rewind it.
We couldn't go back through. We couldn't
review any of the footage again. As
things happened, we had to pick them
apart and and try and dissect them and
maybe write some notes to go in one of
our videos and we weren't able to go
back and go actually was that a glitch
or was that a problem? Like we were
shown the footage and then for there's
an hour of stuff and then the live
stream ends and that's the last time we
see that until the game comes out. So
when people are asking us to go through
like specific details of like individual
pixel peeping, we were watching this on
a team's call where the dropout was
insane. I think the hidden one on his
internet dropped out so he had to leave
the call. There was so much stuff
like happening very quickly that we
weren't able to really go through it
all. So that already made it like 10 to
15% pointless. But then the whole idea
was that at the end of it, so this
normally when you do these events, like
at the end of the event, like an hour
after or two hours after, they send you
all of the pre-launch footage, the um
the exclusive footage that you get for
the end of the embargo. So, normally
they should have sent us the footage on
the 6th of May for us to start making a
video between then and today, the 22nd
of May, when our embargo gets lifted.
But what actually happened instead is we
had that hourong interview Zoom call
thing and then we didn't hear anything
for over a week and that's fine. I
understand like they maybe had to get
some footage ready or like teams were
busy but in that week we weren't able to
go back through the footage. We weren't
able to write down more notes or review
anything. We didn't have any new footage
to process or go through. So, by the
time it got to the point of us seeing
the live stream and then actually
receiving footage so we could start
making a video, a week and a bit, I
believe it was actually even longer, a
week and a half had gone by. I think the
hidden one, if you're still in chat,
you'll be able to confirm how long it
was cuz you you even messaged me saying,
"Aren't we supposed to be getting some
footage?" Um, so yeah, that it was like
at the point of us actually receiving
gameplay footage to do our videos, it'd
already been like over a week, a week
and a half, maybe even longer since we
did the actual call. So, we weren't able
to go through the call again and watch
any of the footage or remember what was
said, unless we could write down an hour
long of talking. Um, so that already
made it really difficult for any of us
creators that are making videos today to
really go through with a tooth comb and
actually
express all we can do is talk about our
initial feelings and what we thought
about the game. There was not enough
information there for us to actually do
a deep dive about yeah around 7 to9
days. The hidden one says 7 to n days
before we actually received the footage.
So there wasn't everything you've heard
from creators today saying things
negative about Minds Eye. It's not
because we don't like Minds Eye or we
don't like Build a Rocket Boy. I am
personally a huge fan and I'm a diehard
Leslie Benzy's fan. In fact, half that
stuff on the wall behind me actually
over that side. Half of that stuff is
stuff that Leslie Benes has worked on.
In fact, nearly all of it is.
But I can only be critical and I can
only voice my opinion on what I can
remember seeing for an hourong period in
which we couldn't review it again. So it
made things
um difficult.
Um and that's the thing that all of that
that whole process which was a bit
convoluted isn't including talking about
the footage that we actually saw. So
let's go into that a little bit. But
before we actually talk about the game
play, does anyone have any questions in
chat? Um like there's a lot of things to
to go through and understand a lot of
people might have um
like different ideas, theories or
questions that they want to know. So
let's just do that for the 10 minutes
first so I can have a bit of a
breather. Uh popping off at a game
that's not out is not good. I agree with
you fully, mate. But at the end of the
day, if what we saw in that footage,
bearing in mind that was in total 30
days before the game's due to come out
that and we were told in the call that
that game play that was the latest patch
of the game from the day
before and it was that problematic and
that buggy and it had so many little
weird glitches. That's not popping off
at a game like from early development
footage. That's us talking about what we
saw for a game that's supposed to be
ready. Um,
yeah. Did they say anything about
Arcadia? Yes, they did. So, Arcadia is
their kind of like world building thing.
It's um like it's kind of like where you
can build your own missions and build
your own sets. And that was the coolest
part. I think for me, Arcadia is awesome
because you can actually like in the
world you can build your own missions,
but they spent probably five maybe four,
three minutes on it. Um, and when they
sent us all this footage, we didn't have
any footage of Arcadia. Um, which is
annoying cuz if I could do a whole video
just about the Arcadia side of the game,
that would be 100% positive video, that
would be just like
fire, right? Let me just read up
chat. Sorry for being less responsive to
chat in this one as well. Obviously,
I've got a list of things that I just
want to go through.
Uh, the concept of the game is okay, but
I personally think it's going to be a
flop. thing is I would want I want this
game to be a success cuz I want another
game to play selfishly. I just want
another game that I can sink my teeth
into and make content about. But I do
have that you're right about the second
part. I I don't think the game will
flop. I
think it won't do as well as I'd like it
to or maybe they'd like it
to. Do I know anything about the story?
Pretty much the same stuff that you guys
know that's from the website. We only
saw like snippets of missions. like we
didn't see like a linear flow from start
to finish through segments of the
story.
Um, can I give some examples for blogs
bug/g glitches? Yeah, so there's one
particular scene where there's like a
big drone like a like a quadcopter thing
um where the main character is supposed
to get in it, but the quadcopter didn't
spawn. So you like it's there in the cut
scene. It goes from that shot into a cut
scene. So, in the cut scene, it's there,
but in the actual shot where you're
walking up to it, you're walking up to
just like an empty landing pad with
nothing on it. That was the one that was
like that was the one shot I was like,
"This game's coming out in 30 days, and
this is their latest build."
Um, I don't know. He He made the guy
presenting made some comments about it
as well, saying that it's going to be
fixed, but there was a lot of things
that were, "Don't worry about that.
We're going to fix that." which is fine,
but like if this was like January of
this year, I'd be like, "Yeah, sounds."
I would literally wouldn't even be worth
talking about. But because we're 30 days
before launch, it makes you think stuff
that's that obvious if they haven't
addressed that. What about the stuff
that they've missed? Do you know what I
mean?
Um, where's the Tiana video? That will
be coming this week. Don't worry.
Probably maybe tomorrow or day
after.
Uh, sorry guys. I'm still catching up
with chat. Um, are we getting regular
streams now? Yes, I'll be streaming
three to five times a
[Music]
week. Uh, what switches does my keyboard
have? I actually don't know. I've got
all the information cuz the reviews
coming on this soon. I will definitely
find out.
Uh, cyberpunk minds eye.
Next location breakdown that will be
this
weekend. Why don't That's why Rockstar
don't do calls like that. 100%. So, this
is the other thing as well. It's like it
I've had um so since my video came out
earlier today going through my overall
thoughts and minds, I've had a little
bit of resistance and
backlash and I don't really I'll be
honest, I don't really understand it
because people will say things like,
"Well, you've seen the same trailers
we've seen, so how can you criticize a
game that isn't out yet?" and they're
not understanding that even though I
explained it for at least half the
video, this was a call that creators
were invited to for the opportunity to
discuss and go through ideas and
concepts of the game and go through
footage of the the video like to go
through the footage of the game and all
the video footage and they were playing
it supposedly playing it live on the
call. Um, so you know and they they
contacted us cuz they wanted us to make
videos. is they want us to make videos
and assess what we saw. And that's
exactly what I've done. And I need to
make it categorically clear that I'm not
trying to bash Build a Rocket Boy or
Mind's Eye. I really like I mean, you
can ask any of the creators that I've
spoke to about this. Look at any of my
podcasts or any of my previous videos.
My first video about Mind's Eye, there
was like one or two concerns I had, but
everything else was me pretty much
glazing them. Um, and I've had to eat
humble pie today because, you know,
there's a lot of people in the comments
that were right.
Um, and you know, I've got no issues
admitting I'm wrong about that. It's
just I still don't like it. It's
like It's like, right, so it's like
being in a car crash. Someone else hits
you, so it's their fault. Their
insurance covers it. Like, yes, you're
all in the all clear, but it doesn't
make it any better. It's just like,
okay, well, I've still got a wrecked
car. And it's the same thing for this.
It still feel still feels like yes, you
know,
uh I've had to eat humble pie and admit
I was wrong and you know the other
person's right, but at the end of the
day, everyone loses cuz the game doesn't
appear to be as good as I thought it
would be or as polished as I would hope
it would be. Now, like all of this being
said, the game will probably be
absolutely fine. Um but I think it will
just be fine. And for a company that's I
think they've had like I think it's
nearly $200 million worth of
investment. And if you think about like
GTA 5 cost what was it $250 million to
make. You know it's not far off GTA 5
money. Now obviously inflation times
changing they won't be able to make a
GTA 5 size game but if you look at like
just comparison what you can do with
those sorts of budgets doesn't feel the
best. Um, Ryan, thank you for the super
chat, man. Uh, I got to be honest, man.
Minds Eye looks like another Paradise
situation to me. The world looks flat
and dialogue is so cringe to me. Hope
I'm wrong. I wouldn't go that far with
it. I've seen a lot of comparisons to
Paradise. I wouldn't go that far. I
think with Paradise, it was literally
just downloading assets and re-uploading
it and then trying to get people to buy
a crypto coin. With this, from an
aesthetics point of view, it definitely
does look way better. It's not an asset
flip. There are assets in there, of
course, from other games, but it doesn't
feel or look or I don't get the vibe of
an asset flip, but I do get the vibe
that it's
not it's not unique. It feels like
they've pulled a bit of Mafia, pulled a
bit of Cyberpunk, pulled a bit of Grand
Theft Auto, and normally those
combinations work really well. But to
make that work, it has to have a
gimmick, a selling point, a feature that
makes it stand out above the other
games. It has to have a new mechanic.
Like for example, like Fortnite had like
a the battle royale thing and that just
took it to the moon. Um, obviously it
existed before then, but they took that
concept to the moon. Games like this,
every new game that comes out needs like
to be the next big thing. It needs to
have a thing in it that absolutely
revolutionizes the way that we approach
games as players. Um, for example, Grand
Theft Auto for GTA 5, GTA online
absolutely revolutionized openw world
online games to the point where
Fortnite, the success of Fortnite only
happened because they actually stole
some of the original com stole but like
got inspiration from the original
concepts of GTA
online. So yeah, you have to take an
idea and innovate on it. And what I've
seen from Mind's eye, it doesn't look
like they've innovated on on an existing
concept or added a new thing to the
conversation. So yeah, 200 million
pre203 spend is a lot different to 200
million now. No, 100% 100%. But you got
to think that some games out there, some
AAA games out there, the the development
cost of those games
like are 50 million. So, I'm just saying
that this game looks like a it looks
like a $30 million game. And
yeah, I don't know. It's really
difficult to talk. So, this is something
that I, as I'm getting bigger as a
YouTuber, this is something I need to
learn how to do. Like, I I want to be
perfectly honest about my thoughts and
opinions on this, but I I don't want to
It's going to come across either way
like I'm bashing Build a Rocket Boy in
mind. I'm not. I'm just obviously they
reached out for me to share my thoughts
and that's what I'm doing. Um I I'm not
going to lie about it. I'm not going to
glaze games developers. I'm going to
speak my mind because at the end of the
day all I want is um yeah a good game.
Uh what's the graphic likes in the
court? What was the graphics like in the
core? Well, this is the problem. So me
and um the hidden one actually spoke
about
this. We have no idea what to tell you
about the graphics because we did it
through a team's call. So, we were
experiencing like bit rate compression.
Like the the compression on the call
like Teams is notoriously awful for
compression. I don't know why we didn't
do it on Zoom or Discord. Um it was
bizarre or even on YouTube for that
matter like on a private link. Um the
compression was so bad that like I think
the game probably looks fine, but I
would have liked to see some like full
res gameplay like through a link rather
than do a live stream. Uh, I rather
would have had like they send us the
link to a video where they play it and
it all plays on all of our devices,
which you there's a few sites that do
that. I would have rather them done that
so we can all see it in like full 4K
resolution on our screens, whatever
resolution it goes
to. Um, did they send us the footage of
what they showed uh at all? No. So, we
haven't everything we saw in the live
stream, we haven't seen since, which is
really tricky cuz like when going back
through and hearing some of the things
that they said about the game, how are
we supposed to remember that? Especially
when the our like we were cuz the whole
um release not release cycle, but the
whole marketing cycle got pushed back
like two weeks. We had the call weeks
ago. We had the I had our call was on
the 6th of May and then our embargo
lifted today and we only got sent the
footage seven 8 n days ago. So, it's
like there was a whole like 7 8 day
period, 9 day period where we had to
just do nothing cuz we had nothing to
talk about or we had to remember what
happened on a call. It was just so
weird. It was
weird.
Um, Mad Game Inc., what's up, Cyber Boy?
Good stuff on the coverage. We need
honest thoughts on games. Did you see
Malay? Um, yeah. Uh, also yeah, we did
see I did see like one or two little
handh hand bits, but it was in a dark
part of the game and with the bit rate,
it was really hard to tell what was
going on cuz the stream kept dropping
out. Um, did you uh also from the cut
scenes and action, is it fun game? It
doesn't need to be game of the year,
just a fun time. It looks like it will
be a good time to play, but that's
providing that they do fix all the bugs
because some of them completely break
immersion. like like I know it's a one
example once again I'm trying to
remember back to a live stream that was
3 weeks ago but um one of them was that
drone just disappearing like you walk up
to it and you have to get in the drone
and the drone's not there. I'm like okay
well I'm just walking to a landing pad
and then it cuts to a cut scene when
you're in a drone and it's
like what's happening? I think they'll
fix stuff like that, of course. But
um is that a monitor in front of my
keyboard? Yeah, there's a moni like
this. This is a keyboard and monitor.
There will be a video coming about that.
Don't worry. Don't worry. Uh Clean
Sanchez, how are you doing, brother? If
anyone want everyone wants to If anyone
ever wants to see an interview with me,
there's one on Clean Sanchez's channel.
Uh we did an interview a few weeks back.
You know what? That was really fun. We
need to do another one, man. That was so
good. I enjoyed that. Uh, do you expect
a delay after all these creators coming
out about it? Matty Plays says similar
things. Yeah. Who is Matt? This might be
a very very silly question, but who is
Matty Plays? I've seen so many people
reference his video. Um, I hope they
delay it. I want a game now more than
anything. Of course. Like I I make money
from YouTube. I I make money for making
videos about games. Like if the game
comes out, great. More money for me.
Like don't get don't get it twisted. I
want the game to come out, but I want a
good game. I don't want a game that is
okay. I don't want a game that's
like I don't want a game that has like
little asterisk next to it. Like this
game is great, but like I just if they
have to delay it, delay it. I think it
got to the point where they were more
interested in getting the game out
before um GTA 6 and that's probably
shafted. Oh, Matty play. Oh, Mr. Matty
plays. Yeah, I've seen this guy before.
Subscribed. I'll watch his video
earlier. I think it was um I can't
remember who sent me. Was it Ben that
sent me a video of it? I think it was
video tech. Yeah, I need to watch
through that. Let's go back to the live
stream. See what you saying. Let me see
what you were saying. Spans, thank you
for the super chat, man. Um people in
your Twitch is beefing. Oh, I don't have
Twitch chat on. Let me let me see
this. Oh, what's happening on Twitch?
I I don't have it on my screen cuz no
one watches me. Four people are watching
on Twitch, boys. We have made it. We are
getting out the hood with this one,
boys. We have four people watching on
Twitch. I'm still not verified on
Twitch, by the way. Like, they don't
believe it's
me. I can't even log into my Twitch. I
can only access it through my stream
feed. So, um yeah. Sorry, guys.
[Music]
Uh, let me see what let me see what the
Twitch chat is saying. Uh,
ooh, people are beat. Oh, yeah. I'm
seeing it
now. Ooh, what happened on
Twitch? Who hurt
who? Everyone on Twitch needs a cuddle,
man. Jesus.
Hello cyborg UK. Hello dude. How are you
doing? I need the two factor
authentification. Yeah, to be honest,
I've got the password somewhere. I have
it on a separate device cuz I'm
smart. Right, let me just go back to the
questions again. Sorry guys, we got a
bit distracted then. Let me go back
through chat. Uh,
do do you anything about the teams
besides Leslie Benzy's involvement
rocker boy? Do you mean do I know
anything about the teams? I know that
they employ a few former Rockstar
developers. Uh there is some stuff that
I read earlier, but I don't know if it's
true yet, so I need I need to verify it
before I talk about it. But um
yeah,
um I pre-ordered this like an hour ago.
What's wrong with it? Nothing's wrong
with it. I think you'll be fine. I just
uh if you want to know what my concerns
are, just go back to the start of the
stream or check my video that I posted
earlier today. Like just just to be like
clear again and I need to keep saying
this. I don't think it's going to be a
bad game and I don't think it's going to
suck and I don't think it's going to
fail as a game. I think as like the
storytelling and I got to say the cut
scenes look absolutely insane. Um they
they look brilliant but I think that the
storytelling as long as they get that
right that can save a game. I know games
that have really bad mechanics and get
bad gameplay and the story is so good
that it doesn't matter. Um that stuff is
fine. Like a good example is actually
Mafia 3. Like it's not bad gameplay, but
it's not the best gameplay. But the
story is like
somewhat it redeems the game in a way.
That's the endearing part of the game.
The culture, the time, the story, the
set piece that redeems the game a little
bit. This could be one of those games.
But once again, Mafia 3 is one of those
games that had a question mark next to
it. And do you want a question mark next
to a game that you that you're making? I
don't know.
ironic that it's the same actor. Yeah,
it is a little bit. I think he's a
brilliant actor as
well. Am I still using dialup? No, I'm
using fiber. Why is has my stream
dropped quality? Let me know if stream's
lagging. Matthew 3 is mediocre to be
fair. Matthew 3, go back and play it
again. Like, but don't try and play it
in one sitting. Play an hour at a time.
Different experience. Entirely different
experience. I can't explain why. It just
is. You cooked creation dev. Yeah, I
think he's quit YouTube. Hang on one
sec. Just sort my mask out. Yeah, I
think creation dev quit YouTube. He
hasn't posted in three
weeks. Stream looks great on YouTube.
Yeah, I'm not sure. I've seen a few
people say that stream's dropping out.
I'm not sure what that
is. Howdy everyone. How you doing,
dude? Um, guys, do not listen. Never
pre-order a game. Doesn't matter which
it is. Never do it. To be
fair, I So, I haven't even pre-ordered
mine. I I know they're going to give me
a copy. They're probably not anymore,
let's be honest.
Um, they're not going to give me a copy
now, but um, I didn't pre-order it
because it's not a physical edition.
They're only doing digital. And for me,
I'd only ever pre-order something if I
if I can hold it. You know what I mean?
Like a game that you can hold. I I
digital games are convenient. Let's not
beat around the bush. But it's nice to
own new games, like hold them.
pre-order GTA 6 all day. You're not my
dad.
[Music]
What? Um, Ma also has the music produced
that they did all the sound checks for
GTA 3 up to five, do they? That's pretty
cool. Didn't know that. 12 viewers in
Twitch now.
Jeez. I still don't understand how to
use Twitch anyway. That's why I'm not
really bothered about not knowing my
password
for is mine. I reminding you of the day
before trailer or something. No, no, no,
no, no, no. Like, this is something.
There's there's different levels of
like a pre-release iffiness. You've got
like Paradise, which is such a blatant
scam that it's it's almost funny. Then
you've got like The Day Before, which
was like pretty convincing and they
almost somewhat tried to make an effort
to make the game like okay, but they
just rub pulled it. Then you've got
games like Mind's Eye, which people
genuinely trying to make a good game.
They
just, what's the best way to say, sorry
guys, I am new to criticizing games. I
need to get better at this, but they
need
to
they what minds need to do is understand
that no one there are, don't me wrong,
go on Twitter. There's just people that
like hating on games, hating games. But
most of like the core GTA audience,
which will make up the core audience for
Minds Eye just because of who's in
charge, Leslie Benzes. We want a good
game. And if the game has to get delayed
or there's things that they have to
change or they have to get like or
there's bug fixes they have to fix or
little things like the running in the
game, like the running looks like
Fortnite's run system. is
so that's fine if you're if you're a
younger demographic, but mindset it
looks like it's a more mature game. So,
like having this kitty kind of mechanics
built into a game that's supposed to be
not on par with Grand Theft Auto, but in
the same realm, in the same like
ecosystem. It feels weird. And stuff
like that, which um I just think that
they should stop, pause development, go
like go through those things and cuz
that stuff ties into not just gameplay
mechanics, but it ties into how
convincing the game is to us as a
player. And they're little things like
that which just make me feel a bit
like a little bit the game's a little
bit rushed. And it probably isn't, but
I'm saying it feels like that because of
that.
Um, minds still has time in my opinion.
Day one patch could save the day. Yeah,
I mean, don't get me wrong, like I said
before, the game could come out and and
be great, but all I can comment on so
far is what I saw from, you know, the
footage that we we saw. And, you know,
30 days before launch at the time of us
seeing it, it's a bit like cutting it a
bit fine. And they're the like it wasn't
like a little frame drop here or there.
It was things missing out of the game.
And that's stuff that you fix 6 months
before release, not within the last
couple of weeks before release. Just in
my opinion, this is based on the
conversations I've had with the games
developers. Um, it's really difficult as
well cuz obviously I can't show people
what we saw of the gameplay cuz the
thing is all the footage everyone's seen
from like footage that we've shared as
YouTubers, like even the footage I
shared today was pre-rendered footage.
Not pre-rendered, but it's footage that
they've given us to show you. But the
stuff that we saw of them actually
physically playing the game, like sat
there with a controller doing missions
and stuff, that's not like not
drastically different, but it's very
slightly different in the sense that
it's running on on a device and you can
see things like stuff not ren rendering
in in the distance. And
yeah, like I don't think it's going to
be a [ __ ] game. I think it would be a
good game,
but I'd be like, I know it will release
with bugs, but every game does and it's
fine. They always patch it. But some of
the bugs were like, oh, whole assets are
a whole vehicle is
missing. Is it possible this has been
blown up proportion? To be honest, I
noticed So, this is why I'm a bit This
is why I wanted to do this live stream
to clear off a few things. Since I
dropped my video earlier, people have
taken like one thing I said out of
context. It's gone like all over Twitter
or all over Discord chats and it's like,
hang on a second here. That's not what I
meant. It's not I'm not saying the
game's going to be bad. Like I think it
was um it's been deleted now, but I
believe it was it was it gaming or
something. An article went out and it
referenced my video.
Um, yeah, it it referenced my
video and it just totally misqued me and
it was like, "Fuck, I didn't say that."
So,
yeah. Mind's eye is not just digital. I
hang on. It was a week
ago. Is it not just digital?
Hang on. I need to check this now. But I
got that massively
[Music]
wrong. There it is. It's digital. It
says digital
download. Yeah. Can everyone check that
like on their
end? Um Minds Eyes is a gold mine for
grifters. really is. I've seen this
amount of stuff that I've seen on
Twitter is just brain rot.
Um, can everyone check in their
countries if you can physically buy
pre-order minds? Cuz what I've
seen what what store are you looking
on?
What? But on the Hang on a second here.
Sorry guys. I just need
to PlayStation 5. Here we go. Let
me
pre-order. Yeah, it says download. It
says digital download
only. Is it only digital download in the
UK? Yes. So, I'll speak on the faux pen
world in a
minute.
Very. Hang on. Let me look on
very. That's
interesting. That is very
interesting. You sure it's physical? cuz
it says
here.
Uh, hang on. Sorry guys, we're just
checking this. I will be back to you all
very
shortly. Check
Twitch. I'll have a look. I'll have a
look. But it's on very It says here that
you'll they'll deliver a digital
download code on day date day of
release.
I am so
confused. Um, sorry guys, I'm just
reading chat cuz I'm really confused
right now. Yeah, the thing is, are you
sure it's actually physical copy you get
on Amazon and stuff? Because in the
past, I've ordered games on Amazon and
all these places, but they've like when
you do it, they email you a code to
download the game from PlayStation
Store.
I don't know. I'll check with their
team. I'll ask. I probably won't reply
anymore after after my video
earlier.
Um, Arcadia was also in the Everywhere
builder beta that been going on for the
last year. There's a lot of footage of
what was in the Yeah. So, apparently a
lot of Minds Eye has actually built
using their own system, Arcadia, which
maybe there might be a limitation. Maybe
uh hang on let me let me do one more
check by mind's
eye
physical
copy.
Huh? Maybe you can buy a physical
copy. I didn't know that. Everyone I've
spoken to has said that is this a
digital download key. The more you know,
the more you know.
Guys, sent me a screenshot on Discord.
You legend. Thank you,
Negro. Yeah. Okay, to be honest, I never
mentioned it in any videos anyway, so we
good. Right, let's talk about the, you
know, the open world stuff.
Um, so there's been a lot of debates
about whether Minds Eye is open world,
and this has not been
helped by Mind's
Eye. I'm not bashing on them. I'm just
saying they originally said that it's a
um it's a false like a fake open world.
So, you'll have like a city, but you'll
be locked off to sections of it for
certain missions. But
then during the thing that we saw and
drawing the bits of information that
they've done on interviews since,
they've said that it is open world and
they said in the future it's going to
become open
world, but there's no elaboration on
that. They haven't said what they're
adding to the game in the future. They
haven't said what the like the the focus
is going to be ongoing for the
development of the game. So whether it's
open world or not, really I'm still none
the wiser. I think it's the same for a
lot of people that don't really
understand. Like I understand the fake
open world part where it looks like you
can see the whole city, but you're
actually limited to an area. Normal
stuff. Seen it before. Fine, whatever.
Mafia games are prime example of doing
that. Um not Mafia 3, but Mafia 1 and
two. Um the definitive editions.
Um, but I don't
know. Right. So, the fact that they're
doing physical copies
then check
Twitch. I can't log
in. Hang on.
Let me let
me There you go. It's worked with the
API, right? Let me see if I can check
Twitch with the
API. Jesus. Right. Let's authorize.
There we
go. One second, guys. I just have to
authorize Twitch to do
stuff. Right. Let's go. Twitch.
Uh, I don't know how to use
Twitch. I think I'm logged in. I have no
idea,
though. Hang on. I need to mute the tab.
Why is it playing noise at
me? Why is it playing noise at
me? There we go.
Right, let's go to my
uh channel. Oh my god, my profile
picture on Twitch is the old
one. Um
uh there we go. Right, I've sort of
Twitch chat. Sorry about that, guys.
Oh my god. What the Twitch is a whole
different like ecosystem. How do
I There we go. I'm just banning the
Twitch chat. Not dealing with arguments
on Twitch. Sorted
it.
Right. Right. We're back. We're back. Oh
my days. This is I've got now like three
displays open. We got YouTube, Twitch,
and
Streamlabs. We got eight viewers on
Twitch now. Jesus. I um I just want to I
just want to thank my mom and my dad. Um
you know, couldn't do this without you
guys. I think even when I had my biggest
live stream, which was thousands and
thousands of viewers, I think I only had
like 20 viewers on
Twitch. Can we swim in Mind's Eye? No
idea.
Uh, right. Let me
check.
Um, right. I'm
just I'm going back to YouTube now.
We're going to we're going to we're
going to chat on YouTube. I like YouTube
chat. It's nicer. I can't see both at
the moment now. That's good. I'll fix
that. Right. Are we working now? We are
working. We are back in the room. We are
back in the
room. But chat has frozen on
YouTube. There we go. We're back. We're
back. Uh why don't you use the YouTube
overlay to rehat so you can see Twitch
and YouTube at the same time? I don't
need to. So soon I'm getting some new
glasses and those glasses are going to
have a little screen inside them like a
um augmented reality display that will
show me chat. So, I don't even need the
screen. Um, I can't wait to do that
video. It is a brand deal, but it is so
cool. Like, I genuinely cannot wait
cannot wait to do that video because
that's like obviously brands reach out
all the time and offer me stuff and you
know, 99.9% of the time I just say no.
But this is the one brand I was like,
yes. Cuz that actually fixes a genuine
problem. And this is one of the reasons
that gameplay streams aren't that common
on my channel because wearing these
glasses, it does limit my visibility.
Um, not massively, but it's like it's
not great for gaming. I can see games
and I it'll be fine, but it's just not
comfortable. So, yeah. Cyberpunk ass
invention. I feel you. Ah,
technology. I might have to get Cyber
Boy 2077 glasses before GTA
6. Then stop wearing them. No, cuz
privacy thing is though, like so at
first the glasses and the mask and
everything were a privacy thing. Like
that was So I had I got to like 2,000
subscribers and I think it was about
2,000 and I hadn't shown my face or
anything, but I thought cuz I've spent
years like editing videos for YouTubers
and being in the industry for years and
I can color grade. I haven't actually
color graded this stream. Um I did color
grade some of my old ones. It will be
coming back soon, don't worry. new
studio, new camera, new color grades,
all coming. But
um I thought, okay, I want to be on
camera because you can kind of like
convey [ __ ] but and it also helps
differentiate the content from other
gaming YouTube content. Like you see one
of my videos, you'll know it's one of my
videos, but at the same time, it's like
how do I do it in a way
that like establishes the brand? So this
is like version two of the mask. version
one was like blue with like different
glasses like the GTA glasses. It just
looked a bit It was a bit too neon for
me. It was just a bit too much. Um and
the mask was so uncomfortable. Like it
was just horrible. Whereas this mask is
like a proper nice cotton mask and
everything. So
um has anyone ever told you the
similarities between your mask and
Wrench's m mask from Watchd Dogs 2? So
yes, I hadn't played Watchd Dogs 2 until
after I've been wearing the mask for
like 2 months and everyone was saying
it. So then I played Watchd Dogs 2 and I
realized that it was a it was a pretty
cringe game. Like don't get me wrong, I
the irony isn't lost on me. But um it it
was one of those games where you talk
about some technical aspects of like
hacking and stuff. Some of the stuff
they say is so unbelievably cringe and
it's like oh no. They just said that
they said I think there's one line where
they're like um we're doing something to
the firewall or something like that but
they absolutely butchered it and I was
like oh no please don't please no please
stop. You're embarrassing
me. You said how you doing
man your desk that high are you just
short? Uh, I'm 8 foot nine and strong.
No. Um, I have my desk high up because
when I edit, I edit with my hands like
this. It's just comfy. Also, cuz my
camera is attached to the desk, it
allows me to adjust the position of
everything just by moving the desk up
and down. So, yeah, I'm just comfy like
this. And the chair is like all the way
down. I like it. It also means you get
slightly downward angle on the room. So,
you get a bit of the ceiling, you get a
bit of the floor. Yeah, just I'm so so
so nerdy. Yeah. 8 foot kings unite.
Yeah, man. 8 foot.
Yeah. Okay, then just stand up. Do not
test
me. Did you ban the pet guy on Twitch? I
didn't even read out of his chat, so I
just knew it was absolute carnage, so I
just blocked him.
He's more than welcome to come to the
YouTube chat if he reigns in the
um if uh if he if he reigns in the
uh well the
spam. I have fluff in my eye. This is
not where you want to be. If I sound
like I'm crying, it's cuz I
am. This is just the MMA guru with a
mascot.
[Music]
Wait, that is very true cuz I I am 8
foot. Yeah, definitely believe
it when we get the boat breakdown video.
So, I started working on it, but it's
one of those videos where I want to film
it like a bit more special. I want to
put the camera in different places
around the room and break down different
bits and talk about stuff and cut to it.
I want to put more effort into that
video than I put into any other video
before. So, it is coming, but that'll be
like after I clear all of the GTA 6
locations, after I've done all the
characters and the full deep dive, by
the way, the full deep dive video. So,
it's a combination of a few videos I've
already made with corrections and new
information. That video is going to be
about 4 and 1/2 hours long. Um, that'll
be the longest video I've ever made. So,
um,
yeah, that's coming. It's really late,
so I've got to go. Wish you all a great
stream. Thank you so much and thank you
for stopping by. Big
love. You've been here since like day
one man. You've been here like God,
you've been here since I think I started
my channel what over a year ago. You
were here about 2,000 3,000 subs
somewhere around there. What keyboards
that video will be coming. Don't worry.
Keyboard keyboard video will be coming.
Off topic, back to mind's eye. Do you
think the multiplayer will be like GTA
when they add it in? Honestly, I have no
idea. So, this is one of the things
actually here's
um here's something that I do want to
talk about.
So, with Minds Eye, when we originally
approached about joining their like
preview call, we were told that we'd be
able to hop on and like uh ask
questions. Well, turns out that wasn't
during the live stream. The question
section is after the live stream, we're
able to send in questions. But myself
and many of the creators had the kind of
mindset of we'd have this preview event,
the live stream where we can see all
this footage, then they were going to
send us footage and then we'd be able to
watch through the footage, come up with
some questions, and then email the
questions over. So already it went from
like live stream to emailing over. Well,
because we didn't receive any of the
footage until like over a week later.
Um, I was moving house uh last week. So
from like Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday,
Thursday, I was and finishing this place
off.
So, it was
like Yeah, it it was it was a
bit how's the best way to describe it?
It was kind of like, oh, we can't send
you any footage yet cuz there's been a
delay in the process. And then they sent
us all the footage and then we were
given the option to ask questions. But
this was like a week before today. It's
like a week yesterday. So, we really
only had like a small period of time to
watch through all of the footage they
sent, write notes, write a video, film a
video, record a video, get a list of
questions we want together, talk to our
communities about what they want to know
about the game, and get it sent over.
And it was just a bit like I'm not
rushing I'm not rushing through this
this whole thing for the cuz I'd end up
just asking questions for the sake of it
because they gave us the opportunity.
I'd ask stupid questions. I would have
rather just had like the footage sent,
you know, at the start of the month, but
I don't blame them for that. It's just a
time scheduling thing. It didn't really
work out for for them and and for me as
a creator. A few of the creators have
said the same thing that they they
didn't really bother sending questions
in.
So, one second. I need to turn off
Twitch chat on my
phone. There we go. We're
off. You moving house right now? I feel
my pain. I feel you, man. It's so
stressful, man. I I genuinely got sick
like the back end of last week cuz of
moving with so much
stress. Estimated how long is the Diana
video? Probably 4 minutes. There's
nothing to
it. 3K sub
gang.
Um, YouTube have added YouTube
playables. I have heard about that. I
haven't actually looked at it yet.
[Music]
when you when I did the giveaway. That's
when you subscribe. Jesus. Yeah, that
was December
23. That was absolutely nuts as well cuz
I I was so broke. I still gave away PS5.
I remember my bank account at Christmas
was like minus $1,000 or something. It
was it Yeah, it was that was rough. Can
we at least see your
hair? No.
Do I think the GTA 6 map would be like
GTA San Andreas or San Fier Last
Venturius? It's really hard to make a
comparison just because of how old the
game is now.
So, what aspect of M's eye appeals to me
the most from what I've seen so far? The
city. The city does look cool. The only
thing that did throw me off, and it's
actually I know a few of the creators, I
haven't seen their videos yet, but they
said they were going to talk about it.
The lack of
NPCs. There just wasn't any population
density for any of the locations. There
was I I remember that even on the
footage they've released, if you look
like some of the driving shots, you'll
see like maybe one NPC
um driving through a city. It's just a
bit
like bold people to assume you have
hair. Yeah. How would you know I have
hair? Don't talk about myious
locks.
Um so I'm just catching up with chat,
guys. I've been
waffling. I
uh we've only seen your hands every
time. That's true. Actually, it's the
only thing you guys have seen in my
hands.
When I did my studio build series, when
I started like the initial work, had to
go through and blur out all of my
tattoos, which by the way, people asking
where the last episode of the studio
build is, is taking longer because I was
wearing a short sleeve
t-shirt. So, I had to go through and
blur out everything. Um, but I didn't
want to do it to the point where it's
just like blurs all over the screen. So,
I had to do it a bit more tastefully.
So, that video is done. By the way, the
the last two episodes of the studio
build are done. I'm just
procrastinating cuz it's I finished it
the day before uh trailer 2 came out and
obviously life got a bit busy around
then and then the week later I moved
house. So
um W
says I have a beefy PC but I can't wait
for the PC port for GTA 6. I bought a
PS5. What do I think? I think yeah it's
a good choice. I mean, you know, I
bought a PS5 Pro just for GTA 6, but
seeing how good it looks on the base
PS5, I don't think anyone's going to
have any problems. The game looks
beautiful.
Um, we're all mentally preparing
ourselves to once again be let down by
our hyped game release. Um, Cyborg got
the monk haircut. Isn't that like you
shaved the middle and you got the hair
around the edge? Cuz that would be sick.
I'd rock that. I'd do a face reveal with
that.
Um, have I seen the backstory video that
was made about Diana? No, I haven't. I
will have a look.
Uh, just catching up with chat. Sorry
guys, I'm just reading. I'm I know I'm
supposed to be like presenting right
now. I'm just enjoying reading chat. I'm
just
um hit the like button, guys. Yeah, what
a legend. Thank you, man. Yeah, everyone
smash that like button. Oh, should I do
like what the over-the-top American like
kid YouTubers do? Like, yo, guys, smash
that like button, subscribe to the
channel, and I'll see you all in the
next. I can't do that. I just don't have
the energy. I think I'm just getting
old. I'm not Well, I'm not getting old.
I'm just not as young as I once was. I
just don't have the energy
anymore. I used to have a YouTube
channel. I'm not sure if I should talk
about this in case people find it. I
used to have a YouTube channel.
[Music]
Um, and uh I used to do videos like
that. Not enough red arrows in. Yeah, I
only I've I've limited myself, guys. I
only use one red arrow and thumbnails
from now on. Um, you know, I did try and
fit
4,964 thumbnails. Um, red arrows in my
thumbnails, but apparently it's too
much. If the GTA 4 news is good, uh, is
true, would I get it? Yeah, 100%. If
they port GTA 4 to the PS5, which I to
honest, everything we've heard so far is
happening, that'd be awesome, man. Like,
that game deserves to be on a PS5. It
won't be remastered, sadly, but you
know, it'd be nice to be able to play
it. Um, what's the best part of being a
YouTuber? Working whenever I want.
That's the best part. The bad part is
working whenever I want because it means
that you end up working all the time. I
um like you got to think as well I'm
putting out nearly daily videos. They've
got to be written, recorded, edited,
thumbnails done, titles, tags,
description, and then any spare time as
brand deals cuz obviously, you know,
YouTube doesn't pay at my current
channel size. It doesn't pay
exceptionally well, but brand deals make
up 80 to 90% of revenue for the channel
um on a good month. So, like negotiating
all that, recording that, getting that
signed off, approved. Um, I've I've been
very fortunate that video I haven't had
any videos like properly delayed due to
brand deals yet. I had one video out of
over 500 videos that was delayed due to
a brand deal. But other than that,
Touchwood been good. That was a brand
deal as well. The
desk. Do I work out? I used to I stopped
but I'm now getting back into where I've
moved where I used to live like
was there was nowhere to go like at all.
Where I live now there is. So, I'm going
to start um and now Grand Theft Auto has
been delayed. I've now got a year to
like get in better shape um and properly
start looking after myself. I already
am. I'm sleeping better now. I'm looking
after myself better. Um yeah, I just
feel I'm way That's why I'm streaming
more now as well cuz like where I was
before, like there wasn't really any
daylight in the room. So, you were I was
sat in the dark for 18 hours a day just
making videos and it's just not a way to
live. Now I go out and do stuff every
day nearly now. So it's
nice. GTA boy has touched grass. GTA boy
has touched
grass. I'm just allergic to
grass. Um see what chat's
saying. Uh Mindside Driving reminds me
of a Ubisoft game. Yeah, 100% man. 100%.
That was like the biggest criticism. Um,
Adam, thank you for becoming a member,
man. What a legend. Um, biggest
criticism of Mafia 3. In fact, Fishy
really he touched on it really well in a
video that he did a couple of days ago
where like Mafia just Mafia 3 felt like
an Ubisoft game and that's never a good
thing. Um, man, Ubisoft's in the gutter
at the moment, isn't it? Cyber grass,
blue grass, cyber games. Imagine
um this is a void at launch for me. Do
you know what this is? This is the
annoying thing about being a YouTuber.
For me, for Mind's eye, I'd like to like
give it a week to come out and just see
if they end up pulling it from the
shelves or whatever happens. But I
can't. I've got to get it. I've got to
try it. And the thing is, I'm hoping I'm
hoping I'm hoping more than anything
that the footage that they showed us 3
weeks ago is nothing like the game's
going to be at launch. If it comes out
and they fix all those issues, we are in
for an amazing summer. Like, it's going
to be the best. Playing all those games
going to be absolutely incredible. Um,
especially with like Mafia coming as
well. We're going to have like the best
summer for gaming until next year,
obviously.
But I'm also aware that the likelihood
that they'll fix all of those issues and
the game will be somewhat perfect at
launch based on what I saw, is probably
not going to happen. Um, yeah.
Um, your video was a godsend. Like 3
hours before you posted, I was debating
whether or not to
pre-order. Well, when it So, I
originally said in my video earlier
today, I said that I wasn't going to
post uh videos of me playing Minds Eye
because I wanted to play it first and
then decide if I wanted to make videos
about it. A lot of people made a very
valid point, whereas me posting episode
one, two of the playthrough might help
people decide whether they want to play
it. But I also need to like I want to
put it out there and put it out into the
universe so I can clip this later on. If
I do a playthrough episode one or two
and I don't enjoy the game, I'm not just
going to continue playing it for views,
money, whatever. And if I don't enjoy
it, I'm not going to play it on YouTube
because then we end up with like 20
videos on my account with barely any
well maybe loads of views, but something
I haven't enjoyed and it's not the
content that I'm massively interested
in. Um, if I'm not enjoying the game,
that's what I mean. So,
um, yeah, if it's a good game, like
we'll play it all the way through and
we'll end up diving into it. Um, I'm
just a bit nervous about starting a
playthrough and then finding out it's a
bit meh and then having to finish a
playthrough. Yeah, I remember I did it
with Red Dead Redemption 2. I started a
playthrough on that and the videos got
no views. We we're talking like 80 views
a video. I mean, back then I had way
less subs, but I stopped doing that
playthrough. And obviously there was a
core audience that really wanted to hear
my thoughts and opinions on Red Dead,
but you got to remember I played it when
it came out six years ago. Like, so
yeah, I stopped that play
through.

Um, reading chat. Sorry
guys. Project Medieval. Yeah. So,
there's rumors that Rockstar working on
a medievalbased game, but it is worth
remembering that source code was dated
to like 2006 that I don't think that
game's ever going to make it come out,
especially with a lot of games being
based in older time periods. I don't
think Rockstar really are focusing on
doing that sort of stuff. Um, I think
there was some rumors about a pirate
game, Rockstar working on a game where
you're a pirate. I would love that cuz
that would be really cool. You get like
the whole Red Dead Redemption look and
feel with the GTA 6 water physics
combined into a pirate themed game like
Pirates of the Caribbean game sort of
stuff made by Rockstar. That would
be
amazing.
Uh what games would you like to see
Rockstar try? Let me know. Like what
would you what would you like to see
Rockstar attempt? Would you like to see
him do a um like a pirate game? I think
personally I mean everyone's got an
opinion, but I think a medieval game
from Rockstar would be a bit eh cuz
nothing really happens other than
castles and dungeons and whatever. I'm
more into boats. So pirate game would be
right down my alley. or even a modernday
pirate
game like you know modern
piracy. They need to make a teenage male
protagonist. They unfortunately wouldn't
be able to do
that. Not for a Grand Theft Auto
game because of the depictions of
children committing atrocities. They pro
they probably wouldn't go down too
well. Imagine the ESRB like getting an
email from Rockstar, "By the way, we
want a mature rating for this so we can
sell it in Walmart. What's the basis of
the story of a
16-year-old committing atrocities?"
Yeah, Cyborg, like I said, space saving
travel game like No Man's Sky and stuff
attempted would be amazing.
Maybe, but Rockstar Rockstar tend to
ground well over the last obviously 15
years ground a lot of their games in a
form of reality. So I don't know if
they'd they'd do something like that,
but maybe maybe I mean it's Rockstar.
Every prediction we've made about
Rockstar, well actually that's a
lie. 80% of the predictions made about
Rockstar have been wrong.
So Bully too. The problem with so I
would love a Bully 2 mainly just so I
can see Swagger get back into the swing
of bully content but the only reason I
don't think Bully 2 will happen is
because Bully 2 worked because it was
based in the school and it was a limited
world. It worked in the format of
PlayStation 2 um but an Xbox 360 and all
that stuff. It worked in that small
format. When you try and if you have GTA
6 then then Bully 2 like how do Rockstar
make that a game that you know they got
Red Dead Redemption 2 which is made them
hundreds of millions. GTA 5 did the same
thing or billions. Then you go Bully 2.
How are they going to scale that into a
game that can do similar numbers? I
don't think they'd spend the time nor
money on that because they would recover
the investment, but why do that when
they can make a game that's going to
make them billions? So, that's that's
But once again, I'm probably wrong. I'm
I can't get in the mind of Rockstar and
their their business planning
meetings. Bully 2 was a thing, but they
axed it. And that begs the question,
they probably axed it for a reason.
There's multiple theories what the
reasons were and I think Swag will
probably be the great guy to, you know,
I'll probably get him on for an
interview to talk about that. Um, but
yeah, table tennis too, you know,
imagine Rockstar remake table tennis
now. That'd be so good.
The problem with Midnight Club, the
reason why I don't think Rockstar would
ever do in Midnight Club again is
because if you look at what they're
looking at doing with like if you look
at the modifications we got in GTA V and
GTA online and compare it to what we're
going to get in GTA 6. If you think of
an open world racing game, well, that's
going to be GTA 6. Like midnight, all
the features of another Midnight Club
game would be in GTA 6. So,
um, Midnight Club is literally Jesus.
Yeah,
100%. Uh, Rockstar pirate game with
cannons and ships and plundering and
stuff. Yeah, that'd be awesome,
man. Thing is that Rockstar could do an
amazing cuz pirate games like they have
you'll have like settlements like Guam
where your pirate ship would go and
you'd seize islands. I reckon Rockstar
could do the best pirate game for a
quarter of the budget that they spent on
GTA 5. Forget GTA 6, a quarter of the
budget they spent on GTA 5 because I
reckon a small team could do an amazing
job on even like a 10-hour story. It'd
be incredible to see Rockstar do a
little um pirate thing. I'd love
Rockstar to focus on smaller games, you
know, like games that, you know, we
don't pay as much for, but we see like
maybe 20 different ideas that Rockstar
has. And if they only charge us $20 per
game, but they try loads of different
things and the one that we buy the most
of, they'll make the full game. If they
want to test that, do it because we'd
all love it. like seeing what Rockstar
can do with GTA 6 and what they did with
Red Dead and even GTA V going back you
know all those years whatever they
decide to do with like different games
would be insane absolutely insane like
to see what all these different ideas
they can do. Yeah.
Mental. Uh David says I was in Luke's
Discord voice last week or so and I
asked him if he thinks GTA 6 will have
the same level of gore as in Red Dead 2
and he said the uh and the answer I got
from him was kind of rude. Yeah, I to be
honest I I'm not sure if anyone's seen
my video on Ned Luke. I he went from
being like my favorite um voice actor in
a game because me growing up, I grew up
with GTA 5 to being someone that I don't
particularly like his attitude like he
started saying anyone that talks about
GTA 6 is uh you know trying to misle
mislead people, click baiters and all of
this stuff and you know what fair enough
you can have that opinion. Yeah, but
when the whole 27 theory thing happened,
he put 27 with five stars or six stars
after it. Um, and then tried to mark use
it to market a brand deal. So, he it's
kind of the the popcorn in the kettle
black, if you know what I mean. So,
yeah. I don't know. I I love Ned Luke as
a performer, as as an artist, but I
don't
um like he hates every GTA YouTuber
apparently. Well, no, not hates, but he
he takes jabs at the at GTA YouTubers
when we're we're just fans and his own
words are the fans of the game. So, it's
just a bit weird. Never meet her here.
Yeah, it was just really weird. It's
like I reached out to him like a year
ago asking for an interview and I never
got a reply cuz I was a small channel.
And for me, my goal, I've said this to
many other creators, my goal of last
year would be it would be great to get
an interview with Ned Luke. That would
be like for me a pillar of my channel
doing well. That would be like a thing
where I have a a sense of pride about
what my channel's doing. And then to
have him come after GTA YouTubers on
Twitter and spec specifically start
replying to me, it was a bit
like, yeah, it sucked. I'll be on
brutally honest. Don't care. It hurt.
Like actually hurt. So, um I'm a big boy
and I can handle it, but Jesus Christ,
didn't feel good. It didn't feel good at
all.
Um thing is he he made a jab at Mr. Boss
for the win. Boss man, [ __ ] the world. I
get that. Like, because that that's so
egregious
and it's Yeah, I get that. but then like
taking jabs at other GTA creators like
who like for me I I sacrifice views on
videos like I know there's videos if I
post a video right now saying there's
another GTA 6 leak that video will do
100,000 views in an hour 2 hours I know
it will not do that because it's not
true. However, Mr. Boss for the win will
find a snippet of information that could
be considered a leak. Call it there's a
new GTA 6 leak. put something mad in the
thumbnail. Post it. And that's the
difference. It's more about integrity.
So
yeah, he's even given TG a few jabs.
Yeah. I mean, so TGGG, like I'm not
going to I'm not going to discuss what
me and TG spoke about, but even TG put a
statement out after saying
like the the rapidness of the the fan
base cuz when Ned even if Ned was joking
when he replied to TG, it bear in mind,
guys, we're going back like 2 months
here, but when even if he was
joking, it was so ambiguous to the point
where some people might not think he's
joking. And what actually happened was
loads of people started attacking TGG
because of something Ned said. Loads of
people replying to TG calling him a
liar, click bait and all of this. And
it's it's attracting the negative
attention. And even if it was meant as a
joke, when you've got, you know,
hundreds of thousands of followers that
hang on every word you say, like I'm not
going to start stabbing inside jokes at
people publicly on social media.
Obviously, I don't have the same
following. It's not the same at all. But
if I had like a million followers,
you're very careful and selective of
what you post because you can cause
people to like I I had I had hundreds of
people messaging me like some of the
most viol stuff. I had someone telling
me to to you know myself like
mental. So Saints fans click bait.
Saints fan don't want to speak ill of
the guy but some of his titles and
thumbnails have been a little bit a
little bit taking some liberties. Not as
bad as Mr. No one's as bad as Must was
the win, but TG is a good person, right?
So, I I've spoke about it before, but
I'm going to give TG props again. I
reached out to him. Well, we talk a
little bit occasionally, but not not a
lot. But I I messaged him and I just
said, "Hey, man. I really want to take
my channel to the next
level. What do I need to do? Like, how
like can I just get just a little line
of advice, just a little bit?" and he
basically gave me some advice and like
what sort of content I should be
pivoting towards. I did it half a
million views the next day. Um, and the
truth is is GTA 6 content doesn't get
views throughout the year until the
game's out. So that's why like for the
past 3 months until trailer 2, I
pivoted. I made like one GTA video a
week and then the rest of them were like
different games and they all did really
well. My most viewed videos on my
channel aren't Grand Theft Auto videos.
Um, and that's because
TGGG. So, you know, one day in the
future maybe me and TG fall out, but
he's always always got my respect and uh
he's in my good graces forever
cuz
yeah, he's a good guy. Same for Dark
Viper as well. Like Dark Viper's help me
with a lot a lot of stuff. um little
thing. They might be little things to
him, like little bits of advice, but to
me make a big difference because they're
all things I've implemented. And here we
are now nearly at 50,000 subscribers.
And that was my goal for the end of the
year. And I think the past month has
been 7,000.
So TG is Australian. Yeah, that is the
only downside. I'm
joking. No, we we love TG.
It is really weird how concentrated GTA
YouTubers are in Australia, though.
There's so many of them. Like, it is
weird how like they hold the top spot.
And I don't think there's any rhyme or
reason to it. It's just a coincidence.
But it's cool. I like it.
Um, what do I think about
Rockstar patenting or patenting gameplay
and graphic systems? Is it fair for the
companies? Yeah. So, this has been a
massive conversation for debate.
So basically, Take to Interactive, they
like trademark and they they own the
like if they develop a new system for
like character animation, they'll file a
patent on it and they'll own it. Like so
if anyone copies it or steals it,
they'll have to pay take two. And
everyone's against it for the one reason
that it stifles innovation, but I'd like
to offer an alternative there. I don't
think it stifles innovation. And the
main reason I don't think it stifles
innovation is because okay, we can't
copy that. So let's go and try and do
our own version and let's do something
different. That that's innovation. So I
think that it will encourage people to
innovate in a different way. But at the
same time, if you spent, say, for
example, you went to the bank and you
took out a loan for $10,000 and you used
that money to design a new system to
animate characters. Yeah. Imagine you
spent that money. You took you took that
risk. You put up that risk. You put up
that financial risk.
and then someone came along and just
totally copied your idea and they went
off and used it in their game and made
hundreds of millions of
dollars, you'd want your you'd want your
percentage. And it's the same with Take
to Interactive like but for them it's
not 10 grand, it's millions like they'll
they'll buy companies for technology.
And I think that you know there's the
capitalism argument, there's the kind of
like more socialist way of doing things.
I think
personally capitalism in this instance
does tend to be the one that
works. I don't know. We'll
see. Um, can you post the photo of those
GTA frame on your wall, please? Uh, what
do you mean? Sorry. Oh, you mean that
thing in the
background? Yes, I will actually mention
that in tomorrow's video or video day
after. I'll do like a little section.
I've got a shout out anyway because they
sent it to me. So,
uh, sorry guys, I'm just catching the
chat. So, I have any opinions on E3
never returning? Rockstar actually
announced GTA 4 E3 in 2006. Yeah, it's a
shame. It is a shame. Um, it's This is a
prime example though, the gaming
industry changing. Like, we used to Why
Why is that Why does that keep
happening?
Did that just happen? Did that just
happen for you guys as well? Did you
just see a load of balloons go across
the screen? I just want to see if that
actually happens on the live stream.
There's a bit of a delay. So, I'm
watching over here. That was so weird.
Yeah, it did. It happened on the live
stream. Why? I don't have to turn that
off. So, we now have balloons.
Woo! Party
time. Um, yeah. Anyway, as I was saying,
E3. So yeah, the gaming industry is
changing and we're even seeing it like
forget gaming events for a second. We'll
get back to that. But when talking about
how games are marketed, um games
developers are outgrowing the events
that they usually market as. So Rockstar
Games wouldn't release a trailer at a
gaming event because their platforms are
bigger than any gaming event. Um, so it
comes to a scenario where games
developers, especially with the
advancements to social media, especially
over the past 5 years, in particular,
the way that Tik Tok just took off,
um, games developers aren't as reliant
on mainstream media for advertisement
now. And these E3 events and many
different events are owned, run, managed
by big corporations, like, you know,
multi multi multi-million dollars to put
on. Well, games developers don't need to
do that anymore because the market's
actually got better in the sense
that marketing budget doesn't really
help sell a game. Whether a game is good
is the biggest thing. Like, you can have
the best marketing budget, but if your
game's crap, it won't sell. Um, it might
sell day one and then you'll never get
repeat sales. So, I think E3 going is
like a sign of times changing and it's
sad,
but it's the way the market is going for
gaming and we can't really work with it.
So, we just have to kind of embrace it
and and take it as it
is. 480 million views in 24 hours proves
that 100%. However, I did talk about
this in the previous stream. It wasn't
actually 480 million views. It was more
like 200 million. Um, for some reason
they included the impressions, not the
impressions, uh, they included the views
on Twitter and Instagram, but doesn't
really count because a view on
Instagram, if you scroll past the post,
like just in a feed, just flick past it,
it counts as a view.
And yeah, I don't know. They included a
lot of
um, miscommunicated data. It's not like
YouTube where you click on the video for
it to count as a view.
I lost my
balloon. Got to go cyber. Thank you for
coming by. Easy does it, man. Appreciate
you. Still a
view.
Um, it's your birthday. A year's
actually passed. You didn't notice it
because of time
dilation. Uh, the B in cyber is for for
balloon. It is. It's a balloon boy. It's
a balloon boy. I've just seen that
scroll buddy. Oh dear. Right guys, I am
going to call the stream there cuz I'm a
tired boy today. Um, but like I said
before, streams are back. Um, I'm going
to try and do them every two days.
Probably more. Let's be honest. I enjoy
it. Um, there will be gameplay streams
coming soon. I'm going to get a new
capture card. I want to get an 8K
capture card. And there's a video I hit
my microphone. There's a video coming
why I want to capture an AK. I'll
explain
it. I just swallowed some fluff. I need
a drink, but I got my mask on. Need to
get that liquid death in me. That was
horrible, guys. I apologize for that.
That was the grimst thing I've ever
done. There's a reason why I want to
capture an 8K. Um, but it's for a video
that's coming up soon, cuz there's a new
little video series I want to do, but it
doesn't matter. We'll talk about that in
a different video. Uh, thank you so much
for watching the stream. Um, I know this
one's been a bit longer than normal. I
will try and do longer streams on going.
Um, it's a lot easier now. There's an
air conditioning unit on in the
background, so it's a lot cooler in
here. Um, old place, it was ridiculous
this time of year. It was like 32, 34°
inside. That's in Celsius. So, thank you
all so much for being here. I appreciate
you all. Um, few little things I want to
mention. Um, people have mentioned the
hoodie is a link down below. Merch
stores down below. If you do order
anything over a dollar, like there is
free wallpapers and stuff on there, like
stuff that I've created. Everything's
created by me, designed by me. Um, any
orders that are over a dollar, I'll send
you like a video thank you message. And
it's not like some pre-recorded thing. I
do actually check what your order is,
who you are, and send you a proper thank
you. Um, cuz I appreciate it. That helps
support the channel. So, um, yeah, I
appreciate you all. So, thank you so
much for watching and podcast episodes
either coming out tomorrow or day after
and there's the Diana video, there's a
boat video, there's another location
video, there's a characters video for
GTA 6. We've got so much stuff going on
and I just want to get videos out. I
want you guys to see what I've been
working on. So, thank you and I love you
all. I want to give you a love heart.
Let's see if this works this
time. It's You know what? I need There
we go. Here we go. Sometimes I just sit
here like a knobhead just doing this,
just trying to figure it out. But we got
there in the end. Thank you for
watching, guys. I'll see you all in the
next one.
