It very much looks like Michael de Santa
is going to be returning in Grand Theft
Auto 6. We'll be talking about what fans
found that suggest that and a whole lot
more all in this video today. So before
we jump into why it would make sense or
how awesome that would be. Let's just go
ahead and show you what's going on. It
comes from one of the quick like one to
two second videos that were posted on
Rockstar's new site about Grand Theft
Auto 6. And this one actually involves
Jason and it looks like he's robbing
some sort of convenience store. I'll
show it to you guys in real time sort of
loop after loop so that if you want to
look at it for yourself, you know which
clip you're actually going for here. And
there's actually a lot of interesting
details in this. Like for example, the
shirt he's wearing actually features a
V-Rock radio station and it's actually a
brand new logo. Rockstar is probably
going to do a lot of that in Grand Theft
Auto 6 considering the last game came
out in 2013. This one will come out in
2026. Logos change over time. So, it
very much looks like they will be
updating some stuff and they seem to
have done that there. But what I want to
focus on in this video is the sort of
blue rack you see in the left hand side.
It looks like it says $5 for something
and they look like either magazine
covers or you know DVDs and that's what
I think this is because if we zoom in on
the second row and I know that the
quality isn't great because it's
obviously in the background of the shot.
It's not focused on Jason. It looks like
that is a movie produced by Michael de
Santa and that movie is Meltdown. And
even though we can't see the cover super
clear, we can tell based on the font and
based on the way the guy has his like
hands in his head on the cover that it
is the exact same movie poster or movie
cover. That is Michael's movie which is
for sale in a convenience store or a gas
station for $5. And I'm not sure what
that's supposed to suggest about
Michael's movie Meltdown. Whether it's
just at this point 13 years old and
that's what happens to 13-year-old
movies or it wasn't very good. But
either way, in case you guys have no
idea what I'm talking about, if you did
not play Grand Theft Auto 5 or don't
understand that reference, this is what
it means. So, Meltdown was a movie that
was produced in Grand Theft Auto 5 in
2013 by Richard's Majestic Productions
and associately produced by Michael D.
Santa. Essentially, Michael is hired as
an associate producer on the film by
Solomon Richards as a gesture for
gratitude for dealing with Rocco Pelosi,
who initially prevented Richards from
assembling the cast. And the film can be
seen in game after you complete the
mission Meltdown. And it'll be available
to view in any of the three movie
theaters between 6 PM and 10 p.m. And if
the player chooses option C, which is
the Death Wish ending, Michael receives
a phone call after the mission during
which Solomon thanks Michael for his
assistance and tells him that the film
received mixed reviews, but that it has
become the biggest box office hit of his
career. Now, Solomon Richards did go on
to say in a social media post that can
be seen that he would like to create a
sequel or Meltdown 2. In case you guys
are wondering what Meltdown is even
about, it involves the exploits of two
business investors in Liberty City. And
towards the end of the movie, it's
revealed that their former mentor is
trying to destroy the business in the
exchange. The two businessmen and the
monkey pursue him in a satirical car
chase. The film seems to be a parody of
the 1987 movie Wall Street where a young
stock broker becomes involved with his
hero. So given that even in game they
say that it was met with mixed reviews,
it wouldn't be surprising that 13 years
later you would find this sort of movie
available at a gas station. So whether
Michael Santa truly returns or not, at
least something he has worked on and a
part of his career is going to be
featured in game as the movie Meltdown
is available. Now, let's just talk
hypotheticals here. It honestly could
very well make sense that Michael is
featured in Grand Theft Auto 6. Now, for
a couple of reasons. Number one, he's
the only character that hasn't been
featured in Grand Theft Auto Online for
whatever reason, and I don't think
that's by Ned Luke's choice. Ned Luke is
the voice actor and motion capture
artist that plays Michael Santa. Ned
Luke is also very active on social
media, uh, just interacting with fans,
reacting to what Rockstar has done
lately, including Grand Theft Auto 6 and
its second trailer. So, he's very
involved with the community. He also
obviously, as you guys know, appears in
the HD universe. This is something we've
talked about in the past, how only
characters from the HD universe are
going to be able to appear in Grand
Theft Auto 6, unless Rockstar makes a
special exemption. Like, for example, we
might see Phil Cassidy return where he
was featured in the 3D era in Vice City,
of course. So, there are exceptions, but
Michael could return. If we take ending
C as canon, he is alive. It's not like
he would be too old to return. Yes, he
would be older than when we saw him in
2013 precisely 13 years older, but he
certainly wouldn't be in like a assisted
living facility or he certainly wouldn't
be, you know, on his last leg. Michael
would still have some sort of value that
he could provide. And again, this is
also coming on the heels of another
discovery that fans thought they made,
and that is that Michael Dant's boat is
actually in Jason's possession. So,
there's a lot of different Michael de
Santa theories going on right now, but
one thing is for certain, and that his
movie Meltdown that he produced is going
to be featured in the game. So, whether
it's just an Easter egg or whether there
is truly sort of like going to be a
deeper Michael de Santa appearance or
reference there, we don't know. But,
it's so cool to see that. I know we're
going to see a lot more of that as we
get more details on the game. Just the
little stuff like that connecting the
different games and universes like the
Red Dead Redemption 2 presidents being
featured on the money at the Jack of
Hearts strip club in Grand Theft Auto
62. A lot of little stuff like that. And
on the subject of Michael de Santa being
featured in Grand Theft Auto 6, I got to
highlight this for you guys. This was
posted on social media a couple of days
ago and it's gone absolutely viral. It
comes from a user 21 DPS who posted this
artwork that they created of Michael
Danta in Grand Theft Auto 6. And they
even tagged Ned Luke saying he's coming
for his boat. This looks incredible and
this is completely handdone. Like they
showed exactly how it was created and
how they ended up drawing it. I'll leave
a link to their social media page in the
description. This is incredible. Ned
Luke even saw this and responded saying
this is awesome. So I just wanted to
showcase some really cool art. There's
so much like AI generated stuff out
there. When you see someone actually
creating something and are super
talented and I mean this honestly would
have fooled me if you had said this has
come from Rockstar Games and that
Michael de Santa was truly in the game.
I'd say yeah that looks about right.
That artwork looks legit. So, I just
found that to be so cool and I wanted to
share it at the end of this video. But
anyways, that is all the information
that I have got for you guys in this
video today. Hopefully, you did enjoy.
Let me know what you think about Michael
to Santa possibly returning in Grand
Theft Auto 6. A good thing, a bad thing,
somewhere in between. Let me know what
