rockstar Games latest announcement I
should say announcements have GTA 6 fans
super confused on what’s going on we’ll
be talking about all that in this video
today and a whole lot more so I want to
begin with the biggest announcement that
was made the other day and honestly when
I saw it I thought “Okay maybe this is
some GTA 6 news because it was a repost
on Rockstar social media accounts from
Xbox saying that Grand Theft Auto 5 is
coming to Game Pass April 15th.” Their
announcement was “If you’ve been missing
the streets of Los Santos I’m excited to
share that Grand Theft Auto 5 is making
its way back to Game Pass on April 15th
and for those of us who play on PC I’m
even happier to announce that GTA 5
enhanced will be playable with PC Game
Pass and includes the latest features
like house special works vehicles and
more ultimate PC and standard players
keep an eye out on Games Pass and Game
Pass PC on April 15th for our favorite
available today reminder.” So that’s
going to be happening in about two weeks
time and it’s interesting i would assume
the reason Rockstar is doing this is
basically to promote their new version
of PC GTA 5 enhanced although with Game
Pass if you’re unfamiliar with what that
does it’s essentially a subscription
that allows you to play any game that’s
on the service for free while it’s there
so it’s not like Rockstar is really
gaining anything from this except
possibly a little bit of exposure and
more people either returning or playing
Grand Theft Auto again and as we’ll talk
about at the end of this video fans are
just frustrated with the timing of this
because this feels like it’s yet another
announcement getting in the way of
Rockstar talking about Grand Theft Auto
6 and speaking of them talking about or
I should say not talking about Grand
Theft Auto 6 uh Rockstar did their
typical Friday announcement featuring
Sir Loco Records which of course
everyone is thrilled about hopefully you
can sense my sarcasm they said
“Dancefloor heavyweights Pro Spa UK are
back with Circle Loco Records delivering
another club anthem don’t stop out on
April 11th pre-order now.” Circle Local
Records is of course Rockstar’s music
label and they’ve been getting in the
habit recently of posting their new
content whatever it is that’s going to
be arriving on Friday of course that has
nothing to do with GTA 6 now yesterday
on Thursday Rockstar announced of course
a brand new GTA Online event week that
had a bunch of different bonuses
discounts and sales as well as a new GTA
Plus event month period as well and so
fans are getting extremely frustrated
because seemingly Rockstar is doing
everything but talk about Grand Theft
Auto 6 and it feels like at this point
in time they might be waiting till the
last minute because you know they’re not
going to talk about Grand Theft Auto 6
before GTA 5 arrives on Game Pass cuz
that would essentially kill all the hype
for that and so what we’re looking at
here is Rockstar essentially has like a
two to three week window in which they
have to provide some sort of update on
Grand Theft Auto 6 and the reason I say
that is because we know that Take 2
Interactive their parent company is
going to have an earnings call in May it
might be the first week it might be the
second week we will find out about when
that’ll be happening and I would say a
couple days time and by then Take2
Interactive has to provide an update on
when the game is coming out they still
can’t say fall 2025 they have to either
say a specific date of when it’s going
to be arriving or what they’re going to
have to do is say “Hey the game has been
pushed back,” which hopefully is not the
case and hopefully that comes from
Rockstar because weirdly enough the
narrowing down from calendar 2025 to
fall 2025 came from them and not
Rockstar which is strange and unusual so
you can understand why fans are
frustrated as we are going on 500 days
of nothingness from Rockstar and yet
we’re still getting random circle loco
record post and weird promotions with
Xbox even though they have put GTA 5 on
Games Pass in the past it just seems
like the timing of this obviously fans
are probably a little bit frustrated
it’s a very cool opportunity but
frustrated nonetheless and then of
course with all the GTA Online and Red
Dead Online stuff there really hasn’t
been any updates that have gotten fans
excited however speaking of GTA Online
there is something that we can connect
those dots to to Grand Theft Auto 6 in
terms of how we’ll play with our
characters because we know we’ve got two
main characters Jason and Lucia how is
that going to work from a co-op
standpoint because there was a lot of
discussion on a thread on the GTA forum
site about how co-op would work would
you be able to do it in single player
are we going to be able to do it in
multiplayer with Rockstar Games insider
TZ Funds 2 chiming in saying this
Rockstar technically already came up
with a co-op mode in GTA Online short
trips if we received its equivalent in
GTA 6’s online it would offer the same
experience if they let us play as Jason
and Lucia that is depending on the
story’s ending and whether online takes
place after the story mode now in that
last part Rockstar had an idea for GTA
Online on when it was going to take
place it was supposed to be like six
months before the story of GTA 5 but as
Grand Theft Auto Online progressed they
eventually just caught it up to main
time to make things a little bit less
confusing so I don’t know how they’re
going to do that in Grand Theft Auto 6’s
multiplayer but I do hope there’s some
form of co-op i mean if you’re going to
have two iconic characters with one of
them being the first main female
character you would think there would be
some sort of co-op elements here now
when Grand Theft Auto 6 does release
it’s obviously going to be the biggest
thing of all time but just how big and
we’re actually hearing from a lot of
different people from several industries
on how big they think it’s ultimately
going to be i saw this article from
GameSpot gta’s only competition for
lifetime sales is the Bible the Last of
Us showrunner says Craig Mason says he
expects GTA 6 to be the largest selling
piece of media ever except for the Bible
this is what the article goes on to say
rockstar’s Grand Theft Auto 6 is poised
to be 2025’s biggest uh new game release
and so far we’ve heard sales projection
of 40 million copies in the first year
and 3 billion in revenue only one piece
of work in history may end up
outperforming it according to Hollywood
veteran Craig Maine the Bible speaking
to Variety Maisin says he expects GTA 6
to be the largests selling piece of
media ever with the exception of the
Bible as such he expects Hollywood to
watch very carefully on how the game
performs he ends up going on to say
“People are getting used to an
interesting combination of handmade
superattentive method of making things
married to size which again makes things
harder to do and as the bar is raised
with production as is every episode
starts to approach movie quality and
movie intensity it does take more time
and this isn’t just a nobody who’s
saying this craig Mason is the director
of The Last of Us TV show as well as
HBO’s Chernobyl he’s worked on several
of the biggest movie and television
products you’ve probably seen of all
time so for him to say something like
that is truly insane of course he’s
speaking in a little bit of hyperbole
because we know that the Bible has sold
around 7 billion copies we know that GTA
6 is not going to sell 7 billion but the
point Maine is making is he expects
Rockstar to once again deliver a product
in GTA 6 that smashes records and raises
the bar so I found this article to be
super cool again if you guys are
