Rockstar’s new trailer just fooled
thousands of GTA 6 fans and they also
believe that what they did the other day
has some serious hints as to what
they’re doing next we’ll be talking
about all that in this video today and a
whole lot more so as I’m sure you guys
know by now yesterday Rockstar Games
announced the free update for GTA 5 on
PC that included a handful of graphical
enhancements as well as new content and
they also introduced a new GTA online
DLC called Oscar Guzman flies again now
it wasn’t a DLC that you necessarily had
to download but it was a DLC that was
featured in the latest GTA Online update
the December 2024 DLC so we knew it’s
been coming for a while but one of the
things that Rockstar did is they
actually uploaded a trailer for
this now if you went to most of
Rockstar’s platforms where this trailer
is posted like Twitter or their newswise
or YouTube You’ll clearly see either
based on the thumbnail or based on the
description that this is Oscar Guzman
flies again and that it’s nothing else
however on the mobile version of
Instagram it apparently gave some fans a
heart attack because if you’re just
scrolling and you see the Rockstar Games
logo and the very first thing you see
especially if you don’t have great
internet or you’re in a spotty area
where like only the first little second
loads it just shows like the rated M for
mature and all the various reasons it’s
rated in for mature and you might think
to yourself wow this is really them
putting out another trailer possibly
something for GTA 6 but then of course
if you let it load and you actually let
it play it’s of course for Oscar Guzman
and if for whatever reason you use the
desktop version of Instagram you’ll know
that that really wouldn’t something that
would fool you either is it’s actually
now pinned to the top of Rockstar’s
Instagram which they’ve actually now
shaved down to 12 posts a little bit
lower than what they’ve traditionally
done and they’ve also pinned it ahead of
the Grand Theft Auto 6 announcement but
I’m not the only one that thought this
uh on the GTA 6 subreddit there’s a post
that’s gone pretty viral here it’s a
post by DJ nqt who captioned this I saw
this and blanked myself and you can see
it’s exactly what we just saw sort of
the Rockstar Games post on Instagram
with the rated INF for mature and if you
just see that you don’t scroll down any
further you’re like wow a new trailer is
coming out and if it again only loads
for like a real second or so you might
think to yourself This is it we’re
getting another one but of course it’s
just for the latest in Grand Theft Auto
online now even though this is the
latest in Grand Theft Auto online I
still do believe that Rockstar has
finally gotten everything out of the way
in terms of what they could possibly
talk about and no pun intended because
this is an air-based update but this
really does seemingly clear the runway
for Rockstar Games to talk about GTA A6
it’s really the only thing left they
could possibly talk about so really you
can Circle pretty much any date on the
calender from here until May which we
know is take to interactive’s next
earnings call and on that earnings call
is actually where they have to
officially update their pipeline so we
know that we’re going to get some news
between now and then just depends on
what that news is and whether it’s good
or bad now staying on that topic GTA 6
fans were all Al convinced that the
artwork and screenshot that Rockstar
used to promote this new update was sort
of a teaser and Rockstar essentially
saying goodbye to Grand Theft Auto 5 so
this is the image they used here it’s a
really pretty shot that shows off the
Los Santos sky line and what players are
focusing on is that plane in the
background essentially leaving Los
Santos and the colors of the sunset Sky
of the oranges purples and pinks sort of
represents that traditional Vice City
aesthetic and Hue so many people online
have been saying okay was this an
intentional Choice by Rockstar seemingly
hinting that we are leaving Los Santos
that this update for PC was really the
final big thing they’re going to be
doing to GTA 5 after 11 or 12 years and
that we’d finally be moving on to Grand
Theft Auto 6 I don’t know if I’m ready
to put on quite that big of a tinfoil
hat that seems a little crazy but I can
understand F what fans are seeing here
in terms of wanting to say like why
would they feature that random plane I
mean I guess it makes sense to sort of
show off how vibrant the world is but at
the end of the day I can also see how
some fans especially fans that haven’t
gotten news for over 400 something days
uh can absolutely see something like
this and take it as a sign that Rockstar
is hinting at something here and on that
subject believe it or not it has been
four
160 days since the first GTA 6 trailer
was announced by Rockstar Games that is
absolutely wild to think about and it
makes you wonder you know if that number
will get up much higher I mentioned a
little bit earlier in the video that
they are going to have to make some sort
of Announcement by May which is
essentially like 7 to 6 and 1/2 weeks
from now so could it get up to 500 Days
it might be teetering along that line
that would be absolutely ridiculous but
luckily we have seen at least recently
some game studios and games following
this weird pattern where like they get
the first trailer and then nothing ends
up coming out basically until six or
seven months until launch I think the
last recent Spider-Man game ended up
doing that it’s not saying it’s a
pattern that I like and obviously many
fans are probably frustrated by this
silence over 460 days of Silence
uh but it isn’t something we should
totally worry about yet and the fact
that their parent company take to
interactive has still said fall 20125
again is good news now with all that in
mind that’s not to say we’ve officially
heard the end of GTA 5 in Grand Theft
Auto online I would assume Rockstar
Games is still going to do their weekly
or bi-weekly whatever the event week
sets up to do promotions and online
there’s still a couple of things they
have planned again over the next couple
of weeks and month months uh there’s a
couple of holiday celebrations that
they’ve hinted at Easter particularly
being one of them and if Rockstar still
goes by what they’ve done over the last
couple of years we should probably
expect to see some sort of update come
out in the summer of 2025 which could
end up being our final GTA Online update
which would be kind of cool if Rockstar
went out with a bang I still feel like
there’s so many things they could tackle
but yet they probably still want to save
some of those ideas for Vice City and
GTA 6 so don’t get too up in arms if the
next thing Rockstar does is not talk
about Grand Theft Auto 6 there is still
opportunities for them to discuss the
current game I know that’s going to
upset a handful of people especially now
because they might say hey there’s no
excuse what are you waiting on it has
been so long but just know there are
still a few things in their cards that
they could talk about but anyways I’d
