so Rockstar have just dropped some big
news and let’s be honest it’s news that
we were probably all expecting the
expanded and enhanced version of GTA 5
and GTA online is now coming to PC and
there’s some very interesting things to
know about this latest update from
Rockstar so we’re going to go into all
of it and I’m going to talk in a little
bit of detail about what all of this
means so we have new features for PC and
I’m not going to read them all out to
you cuz I’m sure you can all read
perfectly fine but there’s basically a
lot of the same stuff that we can
currently get on consoles it’s also
worth noting that this upgraded version
of GTA 5 and PC also includes features
of their kernel level anti-che
protections now this is something that
Rockstar rolled out I believe last year
and it’s essentially to stop people
cheating in GTA online on PC so
obviously they’re looking to upkeep that
for this latest version of GTA online
now one of the concerning bits is the
proactive voice chat moderation now this
proactive voice chat moderation although
the intent by Rockstar is clearly really
good this is an 18 plus game and I know
many people that have been banned for
using voice chat uh for literally no
reason because words were misconstrued
this is a very interesting and I think
that this is still an issue that GTA
online has especially in the PC side of
things and I don’t think it’s an issue
that’s going to get better the truth is
an algorithm and an AI doesn’t
understand context like I say some
pretty disastrous things to my friends
so we’ll see how this continues to roll
out and how it continues to work and
enhance itself for the future using
their AI algorithms and of course
there’s new vehicles and all that other
stuff now the big bit of information I
want to get to is the fact that this is
a free update but Rockstar are pushing
GTA plus with this of course they’re
adding loads of different benefits to
GTA plus subscribers and of course
they’re pushing this towards PC players
now so whilst this is a free update
Rockstar obviously has a narrative here
get people onto the update and try and
upsell them into GTA plus packages now
to be clear absolutely nothing wrong
with this I use GTA plus I do wish that
the monthly money they give you was more
but overall you know free vehicle
whatever it’s okay I’m not I’m not going
to write home about it being the worst
thing in the world but yeah this being a
free update it’s not exactly no strings
attached they are pushing you into a
marketing funnel which is fine if you
enjoy it I pay for GTA plus and I I I
think it’s okay now we also have some
technical enhancements now once again
you can pause and read these if you want
to but I’m really interested to see what
these technical enhancements do
especially the raid tracing features
only available on PC I am really
interested to see what PC footage looks
like for this update now I currently
still don’t have a gaming PC uh I was
going to buy one but I’m now moving
house again so as soon as I move I will
definitely get one I just don’t want to
be logging around a PC to a new property
so I’m definitely going to be trying
this out but if any of you guys do
happen to get this update on the 4th of
March when it comes out I would honestly
love to see some footage from it so feel

this update comes out and then we get to
the bit that I was just talking about
the GTA plus member benefits so for the
first time on PC players of the upgraded
version of Grand Theft AO 5 will be able
to purchase GTA plus GTA’s online
premium membership service GTA plus I’m
not doing an ad read for Rockstar but
you’ve seen it all before now one of the
more interesting parts of this update
that Rockstar have announced actually is
at the bottom of the page so we can see
it says PC support support for the
previous versions of GTA 5 will continue
allowing anyone whose Hardware does not
currently meet the minimum requirements
of the new upgraded one to keep playing
this also ensures that support for 5m
will continue uninterrupted whilst we
work to extend support for it on the
upgraded version now for me them
dropping this announcement just days
after a big expose has dropped about 5m
and all of the drama involved it felt
like they could have done with rewarding
this or saying it differently talking
about support for 5m when 5m literally
doesn’t get any support at the moment
and some of the biggest issues new is
that the the lack of support that’s
problematic so a lot of people have said
that this is Rockstar responding to the
recent allegations and all of this stuff
I don’t think it is this is just them
talking on a software level that it
won’t be supported on 5m yet but it will
be um very shortly and they’re working
to extend it for the upgraded version
then of course we have a little Easter
egg for Oscar Gman so there’s a new
thing coming where we can purchase what
would be Trevor’s airfield the Mackenzie
Airfield in the story mode we can now
purchase that online for a new new range
of heist that has already been
previously leaked so overall this is a
really interesting update and obviously
it’s an update we’ve been expecting for
a very long time and one that we’ve been
looking forward to I of course am really
interested to see how this turns out
what it looks like um what it plays like
on a PC I think it’s going to be really
interesting and really exciting for the
community it’s also nice to see that
they finally rolling out support for
this however obviously GTA 6 is supposed
to be arriving in what potentially 8 n
months so is this a bit much a bit late
I personally don’t think think so I
don’t think they’d roll this out and
then you know can GTA 5 and GTA online
as soon as GTA 6 comes out this means
that this will be probably something
that we have for many years to come so I
think it’s about time we got it and we
should all be very excited about us
finally getting it unfortunately we
didn’t get it sooner but looking at the
screenshot on the official artwork
they’ve given us for this update you can
see things like the r tracing and stuff
and it does look awesome those
Reflections on the puddles on the uh
Road look amazing and I think this is
going to create some really nice and
interesting content now in terms of what
can expect ongoing from Rockstar with
updates to GTA online of course we have
more heists being added as we saw there
with the Oscar gizman reference we have
some more things happening in GTA Online
I do think at some point this year
they’re going to start pulling back with
updates from GTA online mainly because
Duran take to interactives zings call
once again they reported a decline in
revenue for GTA online and they have
done for the past three quarters GTA
online is in Decline it’s going to
happen of course it’s going to happen
people are excited for GTA 6 um and
people are switching to other plat
platforms and different modding servers
to play Grand Theft Auto related content
I’m very keen to see what Rockstar do I
feel like we are running out of time for
a big final update there has been talk
from people about maybe Ned Luke coming
back for a big GTA Online update before
we get GTA 6 I would love that as much
as the next guy but I just don’t feel
like that’s something that Rockstar
probably would be looking at this late
in the life cycle for GTA online um
especially being this close to GTA 6 now
if it does turn out for whatever reason
that maybe GTA 6 has pushed next year
maybe that opens up the Gateway a little
bit to have a final update with Ned Luke
it would be nice but yeah I’ve had a few
messages from people saying that
Rockstar announcing this now is their
way of covering up the whole 5m Scandal
stuff I don’t think it is um this is 2
weeks to the day of them releasing the
GT Online update that they usually
announce two weeks in advance that these
updates are coming maybe latest a week
in advance this is what we should come
to expect for an announcement cycle for
this uh in fact TGG dropped a video
earlier today before this was announced
saying that he felt like something was
going to come on the 4th of March
because that’s when the current events
end so I don’t think this is a big
conspiracy this has been in the works
for a while I wouldn’t worry I wouldn’t
overthink it if Rockstar do respond to
all of that 5m related stuff of course
we’ll know about it but for the time
being let’s just give him a chance to
respond if they do want to respond and
if they don’t respond that’s not very
good is it I just want to say before I
close out this video sorry if I sound a
little bit tired so my last video which
was my big documentary on the 5m
situation that was pretty much 2 days
without sleep interviewing people I
wanted to get the video out and get all
of the interviews done and get my
initial first thoughts out before this
situation evolved so I’m a bit tired at
the moment I’m literally about to post
