we just found out the date where we’re
probably going to know whether or not
Grand Theft Auto 6 is delayed or whether
it will be coming out in 2025 and when
it will be coming out we’ll be talking
about all that and more in this video
today and we know that because of a
rockstars history but B what their
parent company T2 interactive announced
just a few hours ago and that is they
are set to report their third quarter
physical year 2025 results on Thursday
February 6th 2025 going on to say this
take to interactive software Inc today
announced that it plans to report
Financial results for the third quarter
of its fiscal year 2025 which ended
December 31st 2024 after the markets
Clos on Thursday February 6th 2025 the
company plans to hold a conference call
to discuss its results at 4:30 p.m.
eastern time so we were just waiting for
the date we knew it was going to happen
sometime in early February and now we
know the Thursday February 6 2025 and it
is on this date or I would say sometime
relatively around it we’re going to know
Grand Theft Auto 6’s fate and we know
that for a couple of reasons number one
Rockstar Games typically make big
announcements around these earnings
calls they do so because it then gives
take to interactive and the executives
on the call Like Straw selnik the
opportunity to discuss whatever news
Rockstar might have just dropped they
also know that take 2’s success is their
success so if they drop good news around
an earnings call it’s very likely going
to affect its stock price and bring
overall positive thoughts to the
shareholders and stakeholders that are
involved in the company but more
importantly around this earnings call
whenever Rockstar is set to release a
game it is right around the end of
January in which they reveal the release
date so if Grand Theft Auto 6 is going
to come out in 2025 then we better hope
that I would say on that date February 6
or I would argue about a week before
then Rockstar will give us a release
date because going back all the way to
Grand Theft Auto 4 in 2007 even before
Rockstar Games had a newswire for GTA 4
Grand Theft Auto 5 Red Dead Redemption 2
and max pain 3 on the very last day of
January or the first day of February
Rockstar gave us the confirmation of
when the game was going to be coming out
and hopefully the exact same thing
happens here in Grand Theft 6 Rockstar
gives us a confirmation that hey it’s
going to be coming out in September or
October or November 2025 because if they
don’t really the only news they can
provide us with is that there
unfortunately is going to be a delay now
I know that’s not the news we want to
hear either but honestly at this point
it would just be nice to hear something
from Rockstar so that we could know the
direction GTA 6 is taking do we get
excited and prepared for it later in the
year or do we tamper our expectations
knowing that it’s going to take a little
bit longer but they at least have
confirmed something to us and hopefully
along with that confirmation we get
either a second look at the game
screenshots new information whatever the
case might be and so I will of course
keep you guys posted on obviously if any
GTA 6 News drops or if there’s anything
revealed on this call in about a month’s
time and I know this is a relatively big
window to look at I would obviously say
the biggest and most key dates are right
around that call either on February 6 or
about a week before it again like I just
mentioned on the last day of January
Rockstar loves to make announcements
regarding release dates but honestly
anytime between now and then we should
be on the lookout for Rockstar to make
an announcement it’s the start of the
Year everyone’s back from holiday and
Rockstar also has a lot to talk about
they already confirmed earlier in the
year that they were going to discuss
plans to bring the PS5 and Xbox series X
and S features of GTA 5 and Grand Theft
Auto online to PC there’s also probably
a good chance they have to make some
sort of GTA online announcement as well
if the game is going to come out in 2025
this is definitely the last year in Los
Santos’s multiplayer as we know it are
they going to stop producing updates on
the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One are they
going to keep that going so I feel like
there’s a lot of things they could
update us on sort of as a rockstar
Community as a whole and this would be a
good opportunity to do so right at the
beginning of the year sort of tying a
bow on everything and talking to about
Grand Theft AO 62 that’s my prediction
but let me know what you guys think
Rockstar is going to do around this
earnings call in those comments down
below and staying on the subject of
those earnings calls even if Rockstar
says nothing which this time you have to
imagine they are going to say at least
something but even if they say nothing
number one take two interactive has
actually revealed in the past when Grand
Theft Auto 6 was going to be coming out
at least in terms of narrowing the
release date going from calendar year 20
25 to fall 2025 but also we can tell
based on what they put in their earnings
report itself you know the thing they’re
actually talking about on the call we
have a pretty good idea of what numbers
they move around what it might mean for
GTA 6 in fact we heard from Rockstar
Games Insider TZ funds 2 actually
respond to someone that was asking that
same question on the GTA Forum site so
he was responding to someone that said
GTA 6 already had an internal Delay from
Spring to Autumn 2025 and he clarifies
saying two internal delays from Fall
2024 to Spring 2025 to fall 2025 this is
reflected in their earnings forecast
which initially projected a $2 billion
increase in net bookings later this was
revised down to A1 to $1.5 billion
increase and eventually reduced to
nothing since pre-order sales are
counted at the time of release the
revised forecast of a 1 to 1 .5 billion
increase would have reflected a spring
2025 release window at the time so
honestly we should take this as good
news and maybe this time around
Rockstar’s just done things differently
in terms of how they announc the timing
and releases of GTA 6 because we know
that Rockstar typically have at least
one delay sometimes two when it comes to
their games think of GTA 5 think of Red
Dead Redemption 2 even older titles Red
Dead Redemption Grand Theft Auto 4
delays maybe not to the extent of their
modern titles but still delays and so if
Grand Theft Auto 6 has already been
delayed twice internally they just
haven’t announced it publicly that might
mean that fall 2025 release date could
end up sticking and we’ll actually see
that in the earnings data that take2
interactive provides and essentially
what TZ funds 2 is saying here is when
Rockstar originally had it for fall
20124 they had a huge amount of money
they thought they were going to make by
then but then when it got moved to
Spring 2025 they had to shift when that
money was going to come in and same
thing happened when it moved to fall
2025 they had to shift their money
predictions around and because
pre-orders don’t necessarily count until
the game actually arrives that isn’t
something they could forecast on so they
have to keep moving the money around so
again I honestly see this as a good sign
here and so I really do believe we’re on
the edge of the marketing process fully
starting especially if GTA 6 is going to
hold that fall 2025 release date and for
those of you guys that don’t know what’s
about to happen and could be happening
in the next couple of weeks we could be
looking at a confirmed release date once
that happens we’ll obviously get uh new
artwork and screenshots we’ll certainly
get a second trailer the ability to
pre-order the game there’s going to be
media previews with details that they
send out like they used to do for all
the old magazines like Game Informer and
whatnot there’s going to be the official
box art reveal I would imagine Jason and
Lucia will get their own trailers I’m
assuming there’s going to be a special
and collector’s edition of the game
gameplay trailers a Grand Theft Auto
online 2.0 trailer a launch trailer
Billboards and posters that we’ll see
all around the world media reviews and
then the game will be here and we’ll
have GTA 6 and Grand Theft Auto online
2.0 or whatever they’re going to end up
calling it so that’s honestly what we
can look forward to this year and based
on the fact that the game has been
internally delayed twice this is good
news and hopefully that means there
won’t be a public third delay which ends
up slipping the game out of 2025 but
