happy St Patrick’s Day everyone
hopefully you all wearing your green in
today’s video we’re going to be talking
about how Rockstar’s latest game the
enhanced version of GTA 5 on PC can
actually directly give us some sort of
teases and hints as to what to expect
graphically from Grand Theft Auto 6 now
before we get into that Rockstar Games
have made an announcement on social
media uh that they are celebrating St
Patrick’s Day which again has prompted a
handful of responses but also kind of
reminded me about the enhanced Edition
which we’ll be looking at they said
happy St Patrick’s Day play GTA online
through March 19th to get the BL Stout
te players on PlayStation 5 Xbox series
X and S and PC enhanced can complete the
look with a matching bl’s festive beer
hat and obviously the responses were
kind of mixed some you know wishing
Rockstar Games Happy St Patrick’s day as
well others saying that why can’t you
just start talking about Grand Theft
Auto 6 and while I do believe that
sometime soon soon and I’m not just
saying Rockstar soon we will be getting
some GTA 6 news and info that day at
least is not today but again with the
latest version of GTA 5 on PC they sort
of gave us some ideas of what to expect
with the graphics of Grand Theft Auto 6
and we finally heard from some of the
biggest Tech video game experts in the
industry digital Foundry who have
actually broken everything down now I
will leave a link to their full length
video in the description but to give you
guys the highlights this is what digital
Foundry had to say about GTA 5 enhanced
and what it means for Grand Theft Auto 6
they speculate that the ray traced
Global aluminization is backported from
GTA 6 to GTA 5 because it’s so well
polished and built with care it’s Ray
traced Global illumination is also more
advanced than The Witcher 3’s update as
it covers all light sources they go on
to say that CPUs and current generation
consoles are likely to pose a big
problem for G GTA 6 to run at 60fps with
these raid tracing Technologies Alex
from digital Foundry benchmarked an AMD
ryzen 3600 equivalent to the PS5 and
Xbox series X with performance falling
below 50 frames per second and digital
Foundry are also pleased with the update
have no major concerns other than
Shadows behaving odd at certain times so
let’s break that down and let’s talk
about Ray traced Global illumination and
for those you guys that don’t know what
that is it’s essentially a rendering
technique that’s used by video game
developers that uses Ray tracing to
simulate more realistic and accurate
Lighting in games and other visual
applications particularly by capturing
the effects of indirect light and
ambient occlusion and it’s something you
might not think about but just like in
real life in video games light is super
important whether it be the sun shining
down during the day or whether it be
street lights you know know casting a
shadow over a dark alleyway that is
something that’s important and makes the
game feel super realistic so the fact
that digital Foundry thinks that this is
coming directly from Grand Theft a 6 is
huge and it’s good to see that so far
it’s been built well and with Care at
least according to them now this doesn’t
mean that there hasn’t been issues with
the entire thing because GTA5 enhanced
has actually gotten its fourth update in
a week to fix many of the problem
problems that have launched with it
including some graphical things so it
has not been perfect and even with some
of those amazing graphical improvements
that we just talked about it’s made GTA
5 enhanced on PC one of Rockstar’s worst
rated games of all time and some of that
might just be boredom from Grand Theft
Auto 5 or oversaturation from GTA 5 and
a lot of that might just be due to lack
of GTA 6 news and information which is
why I think that some of the ratings are
making it a little bit lower than it is
but also number two why this also poses
a great opportunity for Rockstar now to
finally say something about GTA 6 cuz
usually when they say stuff about GTA 6
other things they do are well-received
like Grand Theft Auto online updates and
even other projects it usually puts
their community and US fans in a
relatively decent mood now the fact that
the r traced Global illumination is also
better than The Witcher 3 which is one
of the best games of all time and also
has been one of the best looking and
best performing games on PC that is a
huge compliment and really does
underscore how great the graphics are
going to be on GTA 6 now when it does
arrive on consoles again the only
consoles we know for right now the
series s and x and the PlayStation 5 it
does look like it’s going to be at first
limited to 30 frames per second which is
a little bit disappointing however it’s
something that we are accustomed to
Rockstar titles when they first launch
and usually on Console are always 30fps
I don’t know whether it’s because they
just know the limitations of the console
given everything else they’re trying to
jam in there or if that’s the style
they’re going for we don’t know but it
certainly looks like it’s going to be
stuck at 30fps there might be some
versions like for example if the game
comes out on PlayStation 5 Pro or a new
version of the Xbox series whatever
where Rockstar could pump up the FPS but
for now it looks like 30 FPS is is going
to be the standard for GTA 6 when it
arrives and like that post mentions
digital Foundry are pretty excited about
the update itself now one thing outside
of the graphics that I found pretty
interesting with this update for GTA5
enhanced on PC and also the DLC that
came out alongside of it Oscar Guzman
flies again is seemingly and talking
about backporting Rockstar backported a
brand new brand from GTA 6 and that
brand is eard we’ve talked a little bit
about this in the past but it was just
added into online they are a
multinational Aeronautics and Munitions
manufacturer essentially they make
aircrafts and weapons and they make one
of the newest planes in the game the
Titan 250d gunship and they are
essentially the new bad guys in the
latest Grand Theft Auto Online update
they have a private security division
they have a Munitions division so
they’re essentially like Merryweather
security but now they’ve been replaced
and their influence from real life is
very similar to Lockheed Martin which
also makes aircrafts and other stuff
like that and to me I think this brand
what they do and who they are are
probably going to be some form of bad
guys in Grand Theft Auto 6 because they
seemingly again have replaced
Merryweather security why they replace
Merryweather security I don’t know
because why would Rockstar go to all
this effort to create a new brand to
craft to create a new logo for them and
integrate them into GTA online if they
weren’t a part of a bigger picture going
forward in Grand Theft Auto 6 in Vice
City and Leonid it just doesn’t make
sense at all because if they weren’t
going to be featured going forward a why
would they do all that work but B why
wouldn’t they just use Merryweather
security uh like they have been in the
past that just seems really strange
again it’s just kind of one of my
theories about back porting seems like
Rockstar is doing a lot of that lately
with with not only the graphics but
probably also some of the brands so even
though on this St Patrick’s Day we
didn’t get any new GTA 6 info we did get
some promising signs from some experts
in the industry that it’s going to look
amazing it might have its limitations
but it’s certainly going to be amazing
but anyways that’s all the information
