it’s happening Rockstar Games just
launched a new platform and GTA 6 fans
are freaking out about it we’ll be
telling you what’s going on and more on
this video today and what I’m talking
about is Rockstar Games launching their
official Discord channel so let me know
in those comments down below do you use
Discord do you use it for work do you
use it just for communicating with
friends do you use it for gaming let me
know in those comments Down Below in
case you guys are unfamiliar it’s
essentially a platform where you can
text your friends or colleagues or
co-workers share files communicate over
voice chat uh it essentially serves as
like an open forum for pretty much
anything you want and Rockstar Games
finally created one I think they
actually made it public late last night
when they sent out sort of a news blip
to certain media outlets and various
forum sites and whatnot but they
actually officially confirmed its
existence today in the latest GTA online
newswire which many fans might have
actually been looking for for some
potential news or information it is
Valentine’s Day at least that’s what
Rockstar Games is celebrating here in
Grand Theft Auto online and they’ve done
so with a bevy of various discounts
bonuses and sales as well as some
exclusive clothing items and whatnot
I’ll leave a link to it in the

and at the very bottom of the newswire
Rockstar says this join the official
Rockstar Games Discord whether you’re
coordinating with a heist crew
organizing a car meet or putting a team
together to take advantage of this
week’s Casino Story Mission bonuses
there’s no better place to connect with
like-minded players than on the newly
launched official Rockstar Games Discord
join to keep up with the latest in
Rockstar Games news and use the lfg
forums to fill out the ranks of your
Association on the platform of your
choice so on the surface this seems
relatively simple relatively Innocent
but there’s a little bit more to it and
let’s dive into that right now so upon
launching the Discord you’ll see that
there’s several different channels and
different places where you can chat and
communicate and just on the surface
because this is something new that
Rockstar Games launched it was
absolutely chaos it there seemed to be
almost zero moderation there wasn’t any
filters in fact the things that were
being said and discussed in the various
chats is honestly a little bit
inappropriate and Rockstar is definitely
going to have to work on moderating the
Discord Channel a little bit better but
you will notice that at the very top
there is a section for latest and
upcoming and you can see that Grand
Theft Auto 6 is listed at the very top
and the description for it is discuss
the latest news about Grand Theft Auto 6
here and this has led GTA 6 fans to
believe that okay something has got to
be coming soon why would Rockstar launch
this official Discord Channel now and
why would they put a second section I
mean it’s of course obvious we know why
they would put a section about Grand
Theft Auto 6 but discuss the latest news
about Grand Theft Auto 6 here Rockstar
have been silent for going on 14 to 15
months now there is no latest news about
GTA 6 so that’s where people are getting
that okay because Rockstar Games have
launched this that means there must be
something coming soon now what’s adding
more fuel to the fire is that even
though Rockstar Games have just made
this Discord server go live within the
last 24 hours it seems like they’ve
actually had it for years now in fact
this is a message that they put out in
2024 but of course was never made public
until now find and chat with other
players about your favorite Rockstar
Games titles keep up to date with our
latest news and announcements and join
fanmade Community servers for more
activities and conversations if you’re
new to the server please review the
rules and you can see when that was made
again back in
2024 however Rockstar Gam actually
founded their account and created this
Discord all the way back in 2019 and
what’s interesting about the date
September 17th is that’s actually on the
anniversary of Grand Theft Auto 5 so
what’s Rockstar been doing for the last
you know 5 to six years with this thing
if they started it in
2019 clearly what they haven’t been
working on is setting up the Discord
server so that it can be you know
moderated appropriately it feels like
the Wild West in here now as far as why
we didn’t hear about this server back in
2019 it could have been renamed from
something else it also wouldn’t be
surprising if they did have to plan a
Discord server years ago but as all
things with Rockstar and take to
interactive there’s probably a lot of
corporate layers that they have to go
through before they’re able to launch
something like this so it’s not
surprising that it probably took them
this long to get this thing going and at
least as things currently stand though
it’s taken off it has over a 100,000
members in the Discord now a lot of that
is probably just due to the fact that
it’s brand new and Rockstar just
launched it and maybe some initial
members thought that there might be
something in there whether it be about
grun theft AO 6 or updates the things
that they might not see on the newswire
or maybe some people thought hey this is
genuinely an opportunity to communicate
with Rockstar it’s hasn’t really
provided any of those opportunities
Rockstar is not there just chatting
about to people and there’s nothing
exclusive there or any you know new or
newsworthy info about Grand Theft AO 6
or any of their upcoming titles either
now something else that’s interesting
and also very cool is the official
artwork that Rockstar has created for
this Discord and it seems to be sort of
this sticker bomb collaboration of all
their different brands and games I’ll
put it on the screen right now you can
see characters from Red Dead Redemption
from Grand Theft Auto from Bully from
Manhunt from Max pain you can also see
in-game brands from GTA titles like
panic and radio stations like worldwide
FM bug Stars Etc now the one thing that
fans seem to be gravitating towards the
most is the giant six stars in the front
again many fans believing that is a
reference to Grand Theft Auto 6 possibly
even a reference to the six-star Wanted
Level returning uh it’s something that
we hadn’t seen in the last GTA game but
has been in previous Grand Theft auto
title you would think that might make a
little bit of sense Grand Theft Auto 6
having a six-star wanted level returning
to Vice City for the first time in the
HD era which is where we did have six
wanted stars in that game so the
background is actually really really
cool it’s something that I wish they
would release in like the highest
definition quality possible so you could
turn it into like a phone background or
a desktop wallpaper or something like
that either way that got fans kind of
interested as well so overall what do I
think about Rockstar Games launching
this Discord Channel I feel like at the
end of the day they’re doing this around
this time because they are 100% Going to
prepare to start marketing Grand Theft a
6 and they want a place that’s theirs
where all their fans can come together
and talk about the game once information
comes out which essentially just boosts
the hype for the game and keeps that
train going it the timing of it just
seems suspicious why would they do this
now we are potentially you know 7 to 8
to 9 months away from from GTA 6 coming
out why would they do this now when
they’ve had you know years and months
ago to do something like that I mean
discord’s been around for a while it’s
not like it just came out last week so
the timing of it is certainly suspicious
and it makes me think we’ll hear from
Rockstar Games soon and what’s
interesting is the last time that
Rockstar Games created a new
Communication channel like this like
threads and messenger trailer one was
release so I don’t know how many of you
guys follow Rockstar Games on Facebook
or Instagram I’m looking at it on my
phone right now cuz I forgot that
Rockstar even did this but they
essentially sent out the announcement to
everyone that was following them yes
they posted it on their normal feed but
they also sent like a direct private
message saying hey here’s the trailer
I’ll throw it up on the screen for you
guys right now so you can see what it
looks like the last time they did that
was when trailer 1 came out and they
haven’t used it since so now they’re
creating a new Communication channel we
all speculate trailer 2 right around the
corner I think this is a very promising
sign but anyways again I’d love to hear
