Source Video: I Can't Believe This Character Is Returning In GTA 6 (What Is Rocking Thinking?)

You won't believe what character says
they're returning in Grand Theft Auto 6.
In this video, we'll be going over what
game they're from, whether or not fans
are going to like it or not, and a whole
lot more. So, that's obviously going to
be one of the biggest questions in Grand
Theft Auto 6 is, will we see some of our
fan favorite characters return? There's
already been tons of speculation on
whether or not we would see characters
from even more recent Grand Theft Autos,
but even going back to like Grand Theft
Auto Vice City with Phil Casty returning
presumably running an ammunition store
that we saw in the uh second trailer.
So, there's a lot of questions on who's
going to come back. Would it be some
characters from GTA 5, Grand Theft Auto
4? Again, would Rockstar break their own
rule and return characters from Grand
Theft Auto City? But what about Grand
Theft Auto Online? This is where this
character is coming from. And their
voice actor and motion capture artists
say that there's a good chance they'll
be in the game. And this is an article
that came out about a couple of weeks
ago. It was right after the Grand Theft
Auto 6 trailer came out. So, there was a
lot going on. It's on the website
Variety, Danny Brown on Tony Hawk's Pros
Skater, GTA 6, and music's movement in
gaming. The article goes on to say this.
Following the announcement of its May
26, 2026 release date, Grand Theft Auto
6 is sure to drum up speculation as to
the bigname musical talent Rockstar
Games has enlisted for the highly
anticipated video game. Danny Brown is
amongst those wondering. He goes on to
say this. I've done a lot of things with
GTA, said Brown, referencing to GTA 5's
IU radio station, which he cured and
hosted. Hopefully they have me back.
Last time I was a drunk fool, he added.
Now, the article goes on to talk about
some of Danny Brown's personal history,
as well as his struggle with alcohol
abuse over the last couple of years. And
in case you guys are wondering what
character he played, not only did he
host a radio station in Grand Theft Auto
Online, remember that was iRuit Radio,
but he also played Young Ancestor. And
so, if you guys have no idea what I'm
talking about, Young Ancestor is a
character that Rockstar created. He's a
rapper that appears in the Diamond
Casino heist and is also mentioned in
Grand Theft Auto 6. We'll talk about
that in a little bit. And like I
mentioned earlier, fans were kind of
split on Young Ancestor. They didn't
really know if they found his style of
humor funny or if they found him
annoying or if they just thought he was
kind of a a pointless character. But
here's some of the clips that he
appeared in to get you guys caught up.
Whoa, you're looking good, bro. Can you
back up? Well, I'm not being weird. I I
work here. This party [ __ ] sucks.
Yeah, this sucks. Listen up everybody at
the party. My penthouse right now. Who
coming? I'm coming, bro. Her
her. He's with her, I guess. Him? Her?
Her? Definitely not you. Uh, that's it.
Hey, what about [ __ ] Hey, masseuse can
come, too. I'm a trainer, bro. Whatever,
bro.
Guest service. Guest service. I need
three bottles of tequila and a ballpoint
pen like I asked for last time. Yeah.
and a mirror you guys keep putting on
the [ __ ] wall. I need back on the
table. Okay. Back on the table. Of
course. Of course. Anything. But sir, we
politely asked after the last time if
you could curtail your festivities. All
that blood, sir. Housekeeping was most
disturbing. What' I say last time? I
said nobody, no [ __ ] crime. Didn't I
say that [ __ ] Nobody, no crime. We're
not relitigating. Exactly, bro. Please.
You know the Dugens are reviewing your
lease. I don't want this to be a
problem. Are you going to be a [ __ ]
problem? Huh? When I bought my place, I
was told VIP, all access, anything goes,
man. This [ __ ] Give me that. Come
on. Let's go. So, that's Young Ancestor.
Apparently, his voice actor and motion
capture artist Danny Brown is now
cleaned and in a better headsp space.
Meaning, if they brought his character
back, maybe he wouldn't be so ridiculous
or so annoying. I'm not sure. Maybe
that's the direction Rockstar wanted to
go. But either way, to some degree, it
seems like Young Ancestor is going to be
featured in Grand Theft Auto 6, whether
he has a role as a radio station host or
whether his music appears in game.
Because in one of the screenshots that
Rockstar provided on their website
following the Grand Theft Auto 6 second
trailer being released, uh, it's under
the Booby Ike section. If you guys are
wondering, there's someone in the Jack
of Hearts strip club. I don't know if
this is an NPC or an associate of Booby
Ike, but they are wearing a Young
Ancestor t-shirt. And it honestly looks
like it might be like the title of an
album. If we zoom into it, it's a purple
bear wearing a yellow hat. The yellow
hat has some sort of logo on there. I'm
having a hard time making out what that
is. And underneath it says, "No
something. No BO, no boundaries, no
borders." I have no idea what it could
be, but it looks like it might be a
shirt suggesting he's made a successful
album. So, at least we know in some way,
shape, or form he's going to be featured
in Grand Theft Auto 6. It might just be
in an Easter egg fashion or a reference,
or it might legitimately be Young
Ancestor is a character that returns. We
know Rockstar's relationship with the
music industry is huge. It's something
they started incorporating a lot in
Grand Theft Auto Online. certainly looks
like they're going to continue that
trend in Grand Theft Auto 6 already with
some of the characters that we've been
introduced to. One of them, Real Dimes,
is a female rapping duo that was seen
prominently in the trailer and in the
promotional materials and on the
website. So, we know that music is going
to be a big part of the story. And Young
Ancestor returning would also make a ton
of sense. So, it looks like he will be
back. Now, as you guys have probably
caught on to throughout this video,
you're probably wondering why is he able
to say stuff like this, if he's going to
be a part of the game, because if he was
going to be a part of GTA 6's launch
section of Radio Host or is returning as
Young Ancestor, he would not be able to
say that as he'd be under a
non-disclosure agreement. Same goes even
if one of his songs was on the radio
station. that's something he wouldn't
want to leak to a website or an outlet
like Variety because it would
essentially cost him the ability to work
with Rockstar games in the future. So
maybe he's just playing it cool. Maybe
he's just predicting the case. Either
way, I found it to be interesting. But
anyways, before we move on, I want to
let you know this video is sponsored by
G2A and their random keys promotion
that's going on right now, which is a
fun way to get some random stuff.
Whether it be different games you
wouldn't never think of trying or
bonuses on existing titles you might
have. you can get up to 90% off. I'll
leave a link to it in the description. I
definitely recommend you check it out
while the wait for Grand Theft Auto 6 is
on. And since we're on the subject of
radio stations and musicians, where I
want to end this video today is talk
about all the confirmed music and
soundtracks we know so far for Grand
Theft Auto 6, and most of them were
introduced thanks to trailer number two.
However, we did hear a few in trailer 1,
as well as some that were in the game as
part of the 2022 leaks, which might have
been placeholders, or they might be
moved out, not be finalized. But
anyways, let's go over them. So, we know
that Love is a Long Road is going to be
one of the songs featured. That's by Tom
Petty. That was featured in the first
trailer. We also know that Hot Together
by the Pointer Sisters is going to be
featured. That was the main song for
trailer number two. There was also
another song featured, Everybody Have
Fun Tonight by Wang Chung. That was
featured very briefly in the scene where
Jason is driving his car on the highway.
We also have Thunder Island by Jay
Ferguson. That was featured. Talking to
Myself Again by Tammy Wette. That was
also featured in trailer 2. Child
Support by Zenglin was also featured in
trailer 2. And I Love Rock and Roll by
Joan Jet. That was also featured in
trailer 2. So, it certainly does feel
like Rockstar is going to have a diverse
variety of songs and radio stations
that'll be featured in Grand Theft Auto
6, as they should. Miami in real life is
a very culturally diverse area, and
having lots of different radio stations
to fit walks of life and different
cultures would make sense. So, I know
I'm going to be really excited to check
out all the music. Hopefully, you guys
are as well. And hopefully, we're able
to listen to them in more than just
being in a vehicle. Hopefully with the
obviously modern addition of cell phones
and accessories like headphones and
AirPods, we'd be able to listen to music
outside of the car. Uh hopefully that's
a feature that Rockstar introduces. But
anyways, that is all the information
that I have got for you guys in this
video today. Hopefully you did enjoy. If
you guys did go to enjoy this video
though, a like rating would of course be
awesome. And be sure to subscribe to my
