These GTA 5 Enhanced mods are insane.. (wPbwSnT4SvI)

the GTA 5 enhanced modding scene is
getting absolutely wild right now it’s
honestly like a snowball effect it
started with just a few minor mods
popping up but every single hour we’re
getting new discoveries and
breakthroughs importing legacy mods to
the enhanced version so let’s jump
straight into what’s possible right now
because it’s genuinely impressive first
things first the script hook finally
received its update this means the
majority of scripts we loved in Legacy
will soon be ported to enhanced it
didn’t take long for one of the most
essential singleplayer mods Simple
Trainer by Sock to release an updated
version literally hours after Script
Hook dropped the trainer was up and
running flawlessly so now modding and
testing our games is way easier than
before we can spawn cars teleport across
the map and play around with all the
features you’ve probably missed on the
other hand the Open 4 team is still
silent and honestly I’m starting to
doubt if we’ll ever see another update
from them maybe they’ve moved on to
other projects or they’re just done with
GTA entirely but luckily Dex Effects has
been regularly updating Code Walker and
thanks to that I’ve been glued to
modding GTA enhance non-stop over the
past week testing all kinds of legacy
mod conversions and apparently I’m not
the only one busy converting mods
because the Krogan team just released
the very first real life car mod for
Enhanced and I’m not going to lie it’s
awesome seeing these highquality
vehicles finally making their way into
the new version of the game meanwhile
Chromatics Enhanced got updated to
version 0.2 and I’m absolutely loving
the improvements so let’s install both
the car mod and chromatics and jump into
the game to check them out the update
log since my last video is massive but
let’s cover the most important changes
they added white street lights at night
which honestly makes Los Santos look
stunning after
[Music]
dark reflections on vehicles and other
surfaces have improved significantly now
realistically reflecting updated higher
quality
[Music]
clouds patrons asked the team to bring
back chromatic aberration and lens
distortion so they’re now back and the
motion blur is looking smoother and more
detailed cuz they added more samples to
[Music]
it traffic and pedestrian density were
increased as well making the streets of
Los Santos feel way busier and far more
realistic and on top of that they added
higher quality Corona Lens effects for
sirens cars and street lights that’s
just scratching the surface but those
are the biggest highlights for me and
I’m genuinely blown away by Chromatic’s
progress and I think the mod deserves
way more recognition and yeah I’ve seen
your comments suggesting core effects
and other graphics mods for enhanced and
while I’ve tested them Chromatic still
matches my taste way better with
constant updates rolling out I’ll
definitely stick with it for a long time
and since I’m supporting them on Patreon
here’s a little sneak peek from their
Discord server they’re working on
implementing Red Dead Redemption 2 style
Volutric Cloud soon they just have a
couple of tweaks left to make but
honestly tell me the game doesn’t
already look insanely fresh no matter
the weather or time of day I’m
constantly amazed by the visuals and I
can’t wait to see what the next updates
will bring
[Music]
but to enhance the enhanced experience
even more we need to talk about the
Lively World expansion the team didn’t
disappoint they quickly dropped the
first beta of their mod compatible with
the enhanced version this mod doesn’t
just scatter thousands of new objects
around the map it also replaces many of
the vegetation models with higher
quality ones all ported smoothly to
enhanced so with LWE the game world
feels significantly more alive and
detailed you could even say this is how
GTA 5 should have looked from day one
and you wouldn’t be wrong development
screenshots show the beta version of the
game originally had way more trees
bushes and objects but back then
hardware limitations meant Rockstar had
to cut back to ensure better performance
and thankfully now we’re getting all
those objects back and even more because
today’s hardware can easily handle what
was impossible years ago the mod team
smartly included three density settings
high medium and low so everyone
regardless of their hardware can enjoy
this upgrade i’m running the highdensity
version myself and it runs perfectly
just like it did when I used it on the
legacy
[Music]
version however it’s not all sunshine
and rainbows in the GTA 5 enhanced
modding world over the past couple of
weeks of extensive testing I’ve noticed
that ray tracing seems to struggle a bit
when handling multiple mods whether
they’re vehicle mods or extensive map
mods in areas with a lot of added detail
ray tracing tends to flicker you’ll see
shadows flickering beneath cars or
global illumination flickering across
trees it seems like an issue not with
the mods themselves but possibly with
how ray tracing was implemented in the
game but hopefully modders will find a
workaround or Rockstar will address this
in a patch soon additionally even though
script hook has been updated old script
mods from legacy aren’t directly
compatible with the enhanced version so
essential scripts like heap adjuster or
resource adjuster are still missing
meaning we can’t heavily mod the game
without risking crashes regardless of
how good our game config is there’s also
the tricky part of combining mods right
now for example Chromatics and LWE both
modify the update RPF file making it
seem impossible to use them together at
first glance but that’s where Code
Walker and Open RPF come into play these
tools allow loading modified files
directly from a mods folder i’ll admit I
was skeptical about Code Walker and
pretty loyal to Open 4 but since the
release of Enhanced my opinion has
completely flipped code Walker is now a
lifesaver it’s more advanced and can be
intimidating if you’re used to Open 4
but trust me it’s worth learning if you
want to combine various mods cuz right
now manual editing of files is the only
option and there aren’t any easy
solutions like auto installers yet of
course it’s still early days and as I
mentioned earlier the modding scene is
growing insanely fast with new tools
mods and compatibility improvements
dropping almost daily i’m sure we’ll see
even better solutions and easier ways to
combine mods very soon so make sure to
hit that subscribe button and the bell
to stay updated with all the latest
