So, take to Interactive’s earnings call
is predicted to come somewhere around
the middle of May. But what does this
all mean? What can we expect? And also,
what’s been happening in the background?
In today’s video, I’m going to walk you
through all the key bits of information
and try and explain things as clearly as
I can. So, more recently, we’ve been
hearing some murmurings, and these are
completely not confirmed rumors, but we
are hearing murmurings about stuff
happening between Sony and Rockstar. And
this started all the way back in
November last year. And more and more
people are starting to say that they’ve
heard things about what Sony are doing
and all of this stuff, but that is just
speculation. But one of the key things
that have happened recently is Strauss
Sound’s interview with Bloomberg where
he talked a bit more in depth about Take
to Interactive’s approach to marketing
new releases. Going back 10 years,
developers would have a 2-year marketing
cycle plan, a 2-year period in which
they’ll start promoting their games.
Whether there’ll be a first trailer,
whether they’ll be working out what
they’re going to be doing with TV ads,
there’s usually quite a long leadup.
Now, of course, with the focus in gaming
being the live service model where you
need a short marketing cycle for the
story and then for the online side of
the games, you usually have a 10-year
marketing plan because it’s ongoing.
Take 2 are definitely focusing on this
live service model. Now, for some
reason, a lot of people have taken Take
Interactive Statements as a confirmation
that trailer 2 isn’t coming until like
September. I can categorically say that
this is entirely incorrect. We usually
have between four and five trailers
before a GTA release. And Take 2 have
not said that we’re going to have less
trailers. They’ve said that they’re just
going to condense their marketing cycle
to be closer towards the release date.
And we are already way past that point.
If they release the second trailer in, I
don’t know, a couple of weeks, then they
release the third trailer a month or two
later, and then the fourth trailer a
month or two later, that takes them just
before release. So, we definitely don’t
need to worry about not receiving any
more news from Rockstar until the end of
the year. We will definitely be getting
something relatively soon. Now, in
previous videos, I’ve gone through all
the specific details about why earnings
calls are very important for T2
Interactive, and I’m not going to go as
deep into it this time, but I will give
you a general overview. So, Take
Interactive every 3 months have earnings
calls. Now, these are calls for all of
their investors and for all of the
people with a vested interest in the
success of Take 2 to listen in and hear
a presentation, not see, but here it’s a
phone call, a presentation from Take 2
Interactive about what their plans are
ongoing and also review over the
previous quarter. Now, all of their
earnings calls usually cover predictions
for like a month or two ahead and of
course go over the last quarter that
they just went through. So, covering the
three months behind them. Now, every
year they have the May earnings call and
this usually falls around the middle of
the month. Most earnings calls for Take
to Interactive are around between the
6th and the 9th of the month, but the
May one is usually at the middle of the
month, which is 6 weeks after the fiscal
year starts. Now, a fiscal year is a
business year. So, the business year
starts on the 1st of April and runs to
the last day of March the following
year. So all of these reports that we
see about how much money take to
interactive have earned are usually from
the 1st of April to the 31st of March
the following year. Now during this May
earnings call they are going to have to
do something very very very important.
They have to wrap up the last quarter of
fiscal 25 which ended on the 31st of
March this year. And during that wrap-up
they’ll go through everything that
happened for the whole of last year and
of course last quarter. But they also
have to talk about how the first quarter
is going for 2026, fiscal year 26, which
is what we’re in at the moment. And they
also have to give their definitive
presentation about what their
predictions are for fiscal 26. for
example, what the timeline looks like
for all of their games development
releases, what their plans are ongoing
when it comes to distributing new
titles, how much money they’re going to
be spending on marketing, in which
quarter they’re going to be spending
that money, and with all of that being
said, this is going to tell us exactly
when GTA 6 is planning to come out. Now,
before we get into a bit more detail
about that release timeline, I just want
to say a very quick thank you to today’s

So, you got dark RP, city RP, military
RP, plus many more. Now, if you want to
know what people think about this, well,
you can look on their website. You’ll
see a statement from me. You’ll see a
statement from ENK, you know, the
Liberty City Preservation Project. Loads
of people in the GTA community are
getting involved in this. Now, their
trailer actually releases today. And
this trailer, by the way, was created by
Ice VIP, best known for his trailers for
Natural Vision Evolved and No Pixel.
Now, I’m going to get into a bit of the
background behind this company because
I’ve actually jumped on Zoom calls with
them. We’ve had many chats over the past
few months, but they’ve had me under
NDA, so I couldn’t talk about any of it.
But there’s so much cool stuff
happening, not just with me, but with
many of your favorite GTA YouTubers.
Now, of course, this is a paid

been talking to these guys for months on
end, going through all of the details,
and I’m genuinely impressed with

mentioned just a couple of minutes ago,
Take to Interactive’s earnings call in
May is going to be going over their
predictions for fiscal 26. And of
course, this is going to tell us exactly
when to expect Grand Theft Auto 6. But
with a publicly trading company like
Take Interactive, they are bound to
certain rules and regulations and laws
according to the SEC, the Securities
Exchange Commission. Now, what this
means is is for example, say if Sam
Hower at Rockstar calls Strauss at Take
2 and says, “This game’s going to be
delayed. we can’t finish it in time for
a release this year. Strauss Zionic
can’t go and do an investor presentation
and say that the game’s still on track
because that is illegal. So before the
next earnings call, we’re going to have
to have the release window narrowed
down. We’re going to have to have the
marketing cycle narrowed down and we’re
also going to get some understanding of
what Rockstar and Take 2’s plans are
post release of GTA 6 if GTA 6 is still
on track. So what does all of that mean
in the grand scheme of things? So,
between today, the 10th of April, and
the middle of May, we are 99.9% going to
be hearing something from Rockstar in
some official capacity. Whether that’s
screenshots, whether that’s a trailer,
whether that’s a delay, I can’t tell
you. But what I can tell you is that
we’re going to see some movement. Now,
with this condensed marketing cycle, and
with this now being at current
predictions, 6 months ahead of the
release date, it’s very likely that
maybe with trailer 2, we would get
pre-orders. And this would align with
some of the rumors that I’ve been
hearing from people that I’ve spoken to,
which of course we covered in a previous
video. This is along the lines that on
the back end of the PlayStation store,
they’re supposedly, and this is still
supposedly, cannot say this hard enough,
speculation, theories, rumors, whatever
it might be, supposedly they’re
tryinging some GTA 6 artwork for the
back end of the PlayStation store just
to check the format, whether it works
properly. Take all of that with a pinch
of salt. I’m not saying it’s 100%
confirmed, but that would line up with
the grand scheme of things in terms of
the release cycle for GTA 6. Now, I get
a lot of questions of people asking me
what my personal opinion is and whether
I think GTA 6 will be delayed. With
topics like this, I find myself in quite
a tricky position. If I say I think the
game is going to get delayed, I get the
whole thing from the community that I’m
just being negative. Or if I say the
game’s on track, I’m then giving people
false hope if it is delayed. So, the
next few minutes of the video are
literally going to be my personal
opinions and my predictions that will
probably be wrong, but it’s just my gut
feeling at the moment as of today. I
feel like the game getting pushed back
probably has a 40% likelihood. Now, if
it was any other Rockstar games title, I
would probably put it at like an 80%
likelihood because Rockstar have
delayed, I believe, every single game
they’ve ever made. But the first delay
that we’re aware of happened at Rockstar
during the pandemic. Of course, people
were working from home and they had to
push the game back a little bit later.
The second delay that we’re aware of,
and not a lot of people actually know
about this, but if you go back to the
end of 2023 after we received the first
trailer, there was a lot of insiders in
the industry, including people like
Jason Shrier, who were suggesting that
the release date for GTA 6 would be
around April 2025. And this actually
lined up with some of the rumors that
other people were getting from people
with inside Rockstar. That was the
general industry feeling. However, just
a few months later, Jason Shrier issued
a report saying that it looks like the
game has been pushed back until the end
of 2025. This was probably a
conservative bet. Pushing the game back
6 months after there’s already been
delays before there was any official
public announcement of an exact release
date was probably the safest way to make
sure that they could actually meet those
release dates. And of course, this was
then confirmed during the earnings call
by Take Interactive in May of last year.
Now, there’s a load of other stuff that
I did actually get into, but I’ve just
cut it all out the video because I’ve
noticed that news videos, you guys want
stuff quick and to the point. So,
hopefully this just summarizes where
we’re at at the moment in terms of
what’s going to be happening longterm
with GTA 6 and what the timelines are
looking like. We still don’t know. All
we have is predictions, theories, ideas,
and some healthy discussion. Let me know
