so a lot of people are asking me what is
happening now with GTA 6 when do we
think we’re going to get a trailer 2 and
where do I think that Rockstar are at
with their marketing schedule now before
we get into this video I currently have
a chest infection and a very sore throat
so I’m talking a bit quieter and um yeah
you’ll have to forgive me for that so
this past week was at the tip of a lot
of people’s predictions for us to
receive a GTA 6 trailer or an
announcement of some sort now in my
opinion I’m still leaning towards
between now and the 14th of February now
I’m not going to go into full detail I
did the other day but 6th of February
there’s a take to interactive zoning
call 14th of February is Valentine’s Day
GTA 6 is based on Bonnie and Clyde Love
Story blah blah blah you get the idea so
all of this all in all begs the question
of what Rockstar would do for GTA 6 for
example how many trailers are we getting
and if the game is coming out this year
and it isn’t delayed when can we expect
to see trailers well my definitive
prediction this is where I’m going to
sit now ongoing is that if we don’t hear
anything between now and the end of play
on the 14th I think it’s fair to assume
that GTA 6 is probably delayed trailers
usually fall around the same time as
earnings calls trailer 1’s announcement
was on the day of an earnings call the
8th of November 2023 that’s when they
announced trailer 1 and of course they
showed the trailer 3 weeks later with
trailer 2 let’s just assume that it’s
going to be something similar with
either an announcement around the
earnings core which falls on the 6th
with the trailer coming out a week or so
later or we just get a cold drop on the
6th or on on the 14th the second trailer
is most likely going to be around the
next earning Callo which would be at the
start of May with the following trailer
the pre-release trailer being in August
and with the final announcement trailer
for the release being in somewhere
around September or October maybe
November depending when Rockstar intend
on releasing GTA 6 now this is where we
sit at the moment there is no definitive
I’m not an Insider although I have had
conversations with people at Rockstar
the actual people that I spoke to that
worked at Rockstar formerly but still
did work on GTA 6 they’re all guessing
as well a few of them said that they
believed it would be in January and this
was going back as far as August last
year a couple of them said that the end
of December was likely which added some
weight to that 27 Theory and a few of
them have said somewhere around February
and some of them have even gone back to
March the truth is we really don’t know
now of course there’s been a lot of
people talking about what speculating
about this is and the truth is it’s just
as having some fun we’re just trying to
figure out when we’re going to get the
next announcement for a game that we’re
really excited about despite the obvious
accusations being thrown around that
this is affecting people’s mental health
which I think that if that is affecting
your mental health you should probably
seek professional help anyway you should
not be worrying about the release date
of GTA 6 I think you’ll be okay so when
it comes to this timeline of when to
expect announcements if we don’t hear
anything by the middle of February I’m
losing a lot of faith that we’ll
probably see the game in 2025 at all now
I know a lot of people are saying that
rock star know better than to delay a
game but living through the GTA 5 hype
and living through the Red Dead
Redemption 2 hype everyone said the same
things for those games too the truth is
if the game is not ready Rockstar will
not release it they cannot afford for
this game to come out and be buggy this
game has to be perfect no matter how
long it takes I take the Firm Stance
that it’s better to wait a bit longer
and have GTA 6 perfect then have a
cyberpunk situation where the game comes
out a complete buggy mess I think we
have to be realistic in this the sense
that Rockstar gave us a trailer one
because we were all begging for a
trailer one we were all begging for some
news about GTA 6 they did that to plant
the seed trailer 2 will come when
trailer 2 is ready now if we get into
2026 and we still haven’t heard anything
yeah I think that’s taken the piss just
a little bit and we should rightfully
call out Rockstar on that with the game
being due this year if we don’t get
anything in the next 3 to 6 months
whether it’s just a screenshot or
confirmation or a statement from
Rockstar I will join the rest of the
club and say that’s a bit shitty on
Rockstar’s part cuz it’s also worth
remembering as well that to play GTA 6
people are going to want to book time
off work they are going to want to
schedule holiday with their employers
and obviously I’m not talking about us
creators I’m talking about the wider
Community people are going to be
allocating time to play the game and
some people have to plan ahead for that
so I know people that are currently not
booking holiday this year at work in
case GTA 6 arrives and I don’t blame
them so hopefully Rockstar give us some
don’t think now I’m really Keen to hear
what you guys think in the comments down
below and remember try not to be
negative don’t be like the games coming
in 2028 it’s not we’re going to be
getting the game soon at some point but
try and take a realistic expectation of
what you’re expecting for the trailer
release date cycles and uh yeah we’ll
revisit this when we actually get a next
announcement and see who was closest
