Rockstar Games has a new warning for all
GTA 6 fans I’ll be telling you what
they’re saying and more all in this
video today so this is actually an
update that I think not a lot of many
people saw because they only put out the
announcement on their Rockstar support
page they put out this the other day on
March 28th 2025 Rock games will update
its terms of service to players will be
required to accept the new to when they
sign in more information available here
and if we actually go to the legal terms
themselves you can see that it was
created again a day ago legal terms
update FAQ what is changing we are
updating the terms of service that
govern your legal relationship with us
and your use of our products and
services the updates to our terms of
service further clarify the user content
that is acceptable in our products and
services and update The Binding
arbitration agreement that applies to
all players residing outside the United
Kingdom European economic area
Switzerland and Australia we encourage
you to read our new terms of service in
their entirety once published on
February 28th 2025 so essentially
that’ll happen in the next 24 hours or
so where will they be posted they’ll be
posted at rockstargames.com Leal and
when will they take effect they will
take effect on March 28th 2025 and your
acceptance of our new terms of service
will be required in order to fully
participate in our products and services
from March 28 2025 so essentially what
Rockstar Games is doing is they’re
making you agree to a new set of terms
and conditions the next time you play
any of their games or products after
March 28th 2025 and because Rockstar
Games typically only updates the terms
of service once per year at least the
last time they did it it was over a year
ago back in January 2024 this will
likely be the last update to these that
we will get until Grand Theft Auto 6
gets here meaning this is what we’ll
have to agree on in order to play GTA 6
and many people were wondering why
Rockstar Games have decided to do this
and there’s a lot of speculation out
there uh some believe that it could be
preparing for the latest update that’s
going to come to GTA 5 on PC as you guys
know a week ago Rockstar Games announced
that there was going to be a free update
essentially giving all the enhancements
of the consoles to the PC so many people
have speculated that it could be
something for that especially because
over the last couple of days or so and
really since they made the announcement
they’ve been making some adjustments to
the Rockstar Games launcher they’ve been
doing some behind thes scenes tweaks so
it wouldn’t be a shock for that but many
people believe this also has to do
preparing for Grand Theft Auto 6 because
it has to do with user content and
conduct and again I feel like that has a
lot of things to do with what’s going to
be happening in the GTA 6 world because
we’ve been reading a lot of Articles
over the last couple of days that said
that Rockstar is going to focus on
making Grand Theft otter 6 at least
probably its multiplayer part sort of
this ultimate metaverse with a lot of
user created content so think RP think
role playing servers stuff like 5m Etc
however over the last couple of weeks
and months there’s been a lot of cont
controversy surrounding that sort of
subject and so maybe this is Rockstar
trying to get ahead of things and
ultimately clear up what’s going on out
there and one of the big topics of
conversation that’s come up over the
last couple of weeks is a bunch of
different content creators planning GTA
6 servers where you can earn real money
and unfortunately this is a total breach
of Rockstar Games terms of service so it
wouldn’t be surprising if we saw
Rockstar start sort of upda and double
down saying hey this is not allowed
because you’re seeing the likes of some
of the biggest content creators online
like Aiden Ross and FaZe Banks actually
discussing these opportunities on GTA 6
and part of creating a server is
creating your own ecosystem that’s tied
to a newly made coin maybe in that event
you do now I’m tell chat I’m going to
tell the chat really quick how it is
when GTA 6 drops me and Ricky are going
to make the biggest server together um
we’re going to do the best ever and
I promise you it’s going to be
completely crypto everything Pro crypto
about it it’s going to change the game
because GTA 6 I promise you guys it’s
they already bought 5m it’s going to be
RP I’ll have the best the biggest server
I promise you I will and we’re going to
put a lot of money into it and guys
that’s where you guys I promise all of
you I swear this is my passion we
started SSB you found me from GTA I’m
going get it very clear to everybody
right now you’re going to get so at
least for me personally this is not what
I want to see Grand Theft Auto 6 and
it’s multiplayer and it’s online mode
turn into if anything I like what
Rockstar did in sort of the first half
of Grand Theft Auto online where yes
there was this evolving world but sort
of before things got really really crazy
and out of hand I know this is
definitely going to generate a lot of
conversation so let me know how you
think about this entire situation in
those comments down below and let me
know what you think Rockstar is doing
updating their terms of service and if
this is indeed a response to what’s
going on now again as far as when we’ll
hear from Rockstar next we know that
their terms of service are being updated
over the next 24 hours but they did
update us on the newswire today with the
current GTA online event week which is
actually a much shorter one than normal
and we know that because Rockstar is
planning an update for GTA 5 on the PC
this one only lasts until March 3rd
which is a Monday again this is a very
very short month uh being February so
that means it’s only like a three or 4
day long event and then of course on
Tuesday the 4th we’re going to get that
big update on PC and again many people
have speculated okay now that that PC
announcement is out the way does this
sort of seemingly clear the runway for
Rockstar to now officially talk about
Grand Theft out of six a lot of people
have circled march on their calendar as
when they anticipate to expect Rockstar
to make some sort of move or some sort
of announcement and the updates they’ve
been doing to the Rockstar Games
launcher might also coincide with the
sort of integrating Discord into their
platforms of communications and making
announcements because now at the bottom
of Rockstar Games website they now have
a new icon and URL link for Discord this
is something that’s been updated over
the last couple of days again it
includes their other social media
platforms uh Twitter Facebook Instagram
YouTube twitch and now of course Discord
so it looks like Rockstar doubling down
on that platform again that might be an
addition to some of the updates they
talk about in their terms of service
again I’ll keep you guys posted uh in
about 24 hours or so uh what’s been
revealed and if it’s going to impact GTA
6 fans in any way shape or form but
